It wasn't until I was brought to nothing by my own hands and doings to where I was fully ready to submit to Him.

By Joseph Miller

These very Scriptures have spoken immense volumes while giving me an erudite understanding of just who our Abba Yah wants and how He wants us. He knows we will not listen to Him when we are in the world and things are going just handy dandy. Only when we are brought to our knees are we at a point to be submissive and finally hear Him. Only then are we able to be molded and pliable by the Master Potter as his clay is safely back in His hands.

Ps 119:71 It was good for me that I was afflicted, That I might learn Your laws.

Ps 94:12 Baruk (blessed) is the man You discipline, O Yah, And instruct out of Your Torah,

13 To give him rest from the days of evil, Until the pit is dug for the wrong.

14 For hwhy does not leave His people, Nor does He forsake His inheritance.

15 For right-ruling returns man to righteousness, And all the upright in heart follow it.

Prov 24:16 For seven times a righteous man falls and rises, But the wrong one stumbles into evil.

Job 5:17 Look, baruk is the man whom Eloah does reprove, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

18 For He bruises, but He binds up; He smites, but His hands heal.

19 In six distresses He delivers you, and in seven no evil strikes you.

Isa 57:15 For thus declares the high and exalted One who dwells forever, whose Name is set-apart, “I dwell in the high and set-apart place, with him who has a bruised and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of bruised ones.

Isa 66:2 “And all these My hand has made, and all these that exist,” declares hwhy. “Yet to such a one I look: on him who is poor and bruised of spirit, and who trembles at My Word.

Ps 34:17 The righteous cried out, and hwhy heard, And delivered them out of all their distresses.

18 Yahweh is near to the broken-hearted, And saves those whose spirit is crushed.

19 Many are the evils of the righteous, But hwhy delivers him out of them all.

20 He is guarding all his bones; Not one of them is broken.

21 Evil does slay the wrong, And those who hate the righteous are guilty.

22 Yahweh redeems the lives of His servants, And none of those taking refuge in Him are guilty.

Ps. 51:15 O hwhy, open my lips, And that my mouth declare Your praise.

16 For You do not desire slaughtering, or I would give it; You do not delight in ascending offering.

17 The slaughterings of Elohim are a broken spirit, A heart broken and crushed, O Elohim, These You do not despise.

If you are currently working through and experiencing affliction in your life, be gratefully humble for He has you right where you need to be. Fully submit yourself and be prepared for what His tomorrow will bring you.   JM

SHOULD A NEW TESTAMENT BELIEVER OBSERVE

THE SABBATH DAY?

A search throughout the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, reveals that the only day of the week that was named by Yahweh or even called by name at any time was the sabbath. Yet, today we have given names to every day of the week. What does it all mean? Why wouldn't Yahweh and His followers name the days of the week? Why does man? Is it significant? Furthermore, we know that there is an Old Testament command to keep the sabbath, but, is there a place in the New Testament that actually commands us to keep it? There is! If these questions have stirred your curiosity then this article is for you!

We find that the seventh day rest was established early on by Yahweh at creation.  He began by calling each day according to its corresponding number, not by a name, therefore we find the first day (Gen. 1:5), the second day (Gen. 1:8), the third day (Gen. 1:13), the fourth day (Gen. 1:19), the fifth day (Gen. 1:23), the sixth day (Gen. 1:31) and the seventh day (Gen. 2:2-3).

But He did something different on the seventh day from all the other days for it is recorded that, "He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which Elohim created and made," Gen. 2:2-3.

A quick look at the Hebrew word for "rested" is quite revealing for it is #7673 in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, the word being "shabath" and its meaning is given thusly; a prim. root; to repose, i.e. desist from exertion; used in many impl. relations (caus., fig. or spec.) and is generally translated:- (cause to, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

What did Yahweh cause to fail, take away, put away, leave, suffer to be lacking on the seventh day?  Wasn't it work, or exertion? Didn't He institute rest, repose, "shabath" for the seventh day rather than work?

Yahweh used a play on words for seventh and rest, for, as we have already found out, the Hebrew word for rest or rested is "shabath," but the Hebrew word for "seventh" is "shebiy'iy" which comes from the primitive root word for "seven" which is "sheba" or "shaba" meaning seven (as the sacred full one); also (adv.) seven times; by impl. a week, to be complete, to seven oneself.

The commandment of Ex. 20:8-11 says, "Remember the sabbath (Heb. "shabbath/tB'V;" which means intermission coming from "shabath," rest) day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh (shebiy'iy/y[iybiV. coming from shaba/sheba/[Bv) day is the sabbath (shabbath/) of Yahweh thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested  the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day: wherefore Yahweh blessed the sabbath (shabbath) day, and hallowed it.

The Hebrew word for "blessed" is "barak." It means: to kneel; by implication to "bless" Elohim (as an act of adoration) and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit).  So when Yahshua said that the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath (Mk. 2:27), He was saying that the sabbath, the rest (the shabath) was made for man's benefit. Man could find "rest" (shabath) from all his works.

I remember working for a company as a young man that for weeks on end worked us seven days a week and usually 10, 12 or even 16 hours a day.  I loved the extra money I made from the overtime, but I remember being so tired and worn out at night.  It was also very difficult to get up the next morning. Working seven days week after week and month after month wore us down physically and psychologically. I came to hate that place so much that in spite of the good money, I quit in disgust.

Man needs rest (shabath) from his labors. It is a benefit to us to rest at least one day a week. Most of the world has recognized this and set aside a day of rest but not the day commanded by Yahweh.

THE HOLY DAY

The commandment states further that Yahweh "hall-owed" the seventh day. The Hebrew word for "hallowed" is "qadash."  It means; to be (causat. make, pronounce or observe as) clean (ceremonially or morally), consecrate, appoint, dedicate, (be, keep) holy, purify, sanctify.

Yahweh dedicated, appointed the seventh (shebiy'iy/-shaba) day sabbath (shabbath) rest to be clean, pure, holy, sanctified, set aside for a benefit to man so that man could bless and worship His Creator and be blessed in return.

We find in Ex. 16:23-26, 29-30, Moses saying, "This is that which Yahweh hath said, ‘Tomorrow is the rest (sabbaton) unto Yahweh: bake that which ye will bake today, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.‘ And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, ‘Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath (shabbath) unto Yahweh: to day ye shall not find it (the manna) in the field. Six days ye shall gather it (work); but on the seventh shebiy'iy/shaba) day, which is the sabbath (shabbath), in it there shall be none.....See, for that Yahweh hath given you the sabbath (shabbath), therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day."

Yahweh used the manna, bread from heaven, to reinstate the true sabbath to Israel. They were to work six days according to the commandment gathering twice as much manna only on the sixth day so they could rest (sabaton) on the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day sabbath (shabbath).

A SIGN

Exodus 31 adds more information, "And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying 'Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, 'Verily, My sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yahweh That doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath (shabbath) therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) is the sabbath (shabbath) of rest (sabbaton), holy to Yahweh: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath (shabbath) day, he shall surely be put to death.'  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath (shabbath); to observe the sabbath (shabbath) throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) He rested (shabath), and was refreshed,'" v.v. 12-17.

The Hebrew word for "sign" is "owth" (twa).  It also means; a signal (lit. or fig.), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc. When one looks at all these meanings he gets more of a sense of the importance of it doesn't he?

Yahweh says that the sabbath was a sign, flag, beacon, monument, evidence between Him and Israel, a perpetual (never-ending) covenant, that He, Yahweh, was the One Who sanctified them. To sanctify means to make clean, pure, holy, etc.

When one turns from the sabbath defiling and polluting it, he is also turning away from Yahweh. Yahweh is the Creator, the Life and Law-giver. Turning from the Sabbath is to reject Yahweh, the Creator, Life and Law-giver. One therefore turns to the destroyer who perpetrates lawlessness and death in turning away from the sabbath and Yahweh. Hence, Yahweh judged death to any who defiled and polluted it.

SABBATH RESULTS

Isaiah was inspired to write, "Thus saith Yahweh,  'Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for My salvation (yeshuwa) is near to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath (shabbath) from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil," Isa. 56:1-2.

Judgment, justice, salvation and righteousness are associated with the sabbath. Pollution and evil are associated with turning away from it.

Isaiah also is inspired to record a promise in chapter 58, "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on MY HOLY DAY; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yahweh, honourable; and shalt honour Him, NOT DOING THINE OWN WAYS, NOR FINDING THINE OWN PLEASURE, NOR SPEAKING THINE OWN WORDS (ceasing from our own work): then shalt thou delight thyself in Yahweh; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage (inheritance) of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yahweh hath spoken it," v.v. 13-14. Yahweh, the Elohim Who cannot lie, promises tremendous blessings for sabbath observance.

As I have gone through the commandments on the seventh day sabbath I have focused on the Hebrew enunciation for seventh/seven (shebiy'iy/shaba), rest (sabbaton) and sabbath (shabbath) for a reason. Seven, seventh, rest and sabbath all stem from the same root word. In the Hebrew linguistics, the interplay on the words seventh, seven, rest and sabbath cannot ever allow for another day to be substituted for the seventh day. Neither the first day of the week, as in nominal Christianity, nor the sixth day, as in Mohammedanism nor can any other day in between be substituted. The interplay between the words simply forbid such.

Yahweh does not change (Mal. 3:6) nor does Yahshua the Messiah (Heb. 13:8). Yahshua fulfilled, kept, performed His Father Yahweh's  law (Mt. 5:17).  He was not a rebel. What belongs to the Father belongs to the Son (Jn. 16:15) and vice versa (Jn. 17:10).

Christianity observes the first day of the week and adheres to a savior that rebelliously did away with His Father's law. Careful study of the scripture proves that such just is not the case. Yahshua was obedient and faithful teaching faithfulness to Yahweh's law, not disobedience. He severely chastized the Pharisees, Scribes and Sadducees for holding to their traditions over the law making the law of none effect rather than for obedience to the law (Mt. 5:1-9, Mk. 7:1-13).

THE NEW TESTAMENT COMMAND

Where is the New Testament command to keep the sabbath day? It is found in the book of Hebrews. The book of Hebrews was written to Hebrews. Its originally inspired language would have been Hebrew, not Greek.

Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 speak of Yahweh's rest. It is recorded in Heb. 3, "Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit saith, 'To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: when your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known My ways. So I sware in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter into My rest,')" v.v. 7-11.

This verse is taken from Psa. 95:8-11. The Hebrew word for "rest" here would be "menuwchah" meaning; repose or adv. peacefully; fig. consolation (spec. matrimony; hence (concr.) an abode. The abode was the land of Canaan, the covenant was a marriage between Yahweh and Israel. Israel's faithful obedience would have brought rest, peace.

Later, in chapter three, it says, "And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest (menuwchah), but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief," Heb. 3:18-19.

Continuing in chapter 4, "Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into His rest (menuwchah), any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the evangel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it," (v.v. 1-2).

What "rest" do we hope for? Isn't it the "menuwchah?"  Isn't it the marriage to Yahshua the Messiah and the hope of the land of Canaan beginning at Jerusalem, Yahweh's kingdom, which will grow to fill the earth? Isn't it the millennial rule, the seventh (shebiy'iy) period of one thousand years of which the sabbath (shabbath) is a type?

Continue in Hebrews 4, "For we which have believed do enter into rest (menuwchah), as He said, 'As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest (menuwchah):' although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He spake in a certain place of the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day on this wise, "And Elohim did rest (shabath) the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day from all His works,' and in this place again, 'If they shall enter into My rest (menuwchah).' Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, 'To day,' after so long a time; as it is said, 'To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.'  For if Yahshua (son of Nun) had given them rest (menuwchah) then would He not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of Yahweh. (The Greek word used here for rest is "sabbatismos" coming from the Hebrew word "shabbath," sabbath.),"  Heb. 4:3-9.

Let us look at how the Greek Interlinear renders verses 4-9, "He has said For somewhere about the seventh (day) thus: And rested Elohim in the day seventh from all the works of Him; and in this (place) again, If they shall enter into the rest of Me. Since therefore it remains (for) some to enter into it, and those before having had the evangel preached not entered for disobedience, again a certain marks out day: Today: in David saying after such a time, as he has said, Today, if the voice of Him you hear, do not harden the hearts of you. if For them Yahshua rested not concerning another he would have spoken after these things day then remains a sabbath rest to the people of Yahweh."

Putting it in a little clearer vernacular, "For He has said thus somewhere about the seventh day: And Elohim rested the seventh day from all the works of Him; and again in this (place), If they shall enter into the rest of Mine. Since therefore it remains for some to enter into it, and those having had the evangel preached entered not for disobedience, again marks out a certain day in David saying Today; after such a time, as he has said, Today, if you hear the voice of Him, do not harden the hearts of you. For if Yahshua rested them, He would not have spoken after these things concerning another day. Then remains the sabbath rest to the people of Yahweh."

Remember the book of Hebrews was written to Hebrews and would have been written in Hebrew.  Hebrew linguistics could not allow substitution for any other day than the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day sabbath (shabbath) rest (shabath). But even the Greek agrees by using the Greek word "sabbatismos" coming from the Hebrew word shabbath/sabbath!

Let's continue in Hebrews 4, "For he that is entered into His rest (menuwchah), he also hath ceased from his own works, as Elohim did from His," (v.v. 10).  (When did Elohim, when did Yahweh cease from His works? The seventh day!)

"Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest (menuchah), lest any man fall after the same example of  unbelief (should be ‘disobedience’)," (v.v. 11).

Here is our New Testament command to keep Yahweh's sabbath day! We must cease from our own labors as Yahweh did from His. It is no secret that Yahweh ceased from His labors on the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day, resting (shabath) and therefore creating the sabbath (shabbath).

What did the people of Israel do? Even though Yahweh gave a double portion on the sixth day so that they could save a portion over to the seventh day and therefore rest, many still went out in disobedience to gather on the seventh day finding none as Yahweh said would happen.

Isaiah testified that those who came into the land of Canaan, the abode, the rest (menuwchah) still disobeyed, polluted and profaned the sabbaths and were eventually rejected by Yahweh and ejected from the land going into captivity.

We are warned today that we have a better covenant based on better promises and we must not harden our hearts as in the day of Israel's provocation when they not only disbelieved Yahweh but disobeyed.

The sabbath is a perpetual, a never ending covenant. We must fear Yahweh and enter into His commanded rest (shabath) so that we may soon enter into the promised rest (menuwchah).

MENUWCHAH

As we have seen, the word rest (menuwchah) also means matrimony, abode, consolation, quiet or resting place. In the book of Hebrews it is used to refer to the coming rest, the kingdom, the millennial rule.

The book of Revelation speaks of that rest. We learn in Rev. 14 after the fall of Babylon is announced that the statement is made, "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, 'Write,' 'Blessed are the dead which die in the Master (Yahshua) from hence forth: yea saith the Spirit, that they may REST from their labours; and their works do follow them,'" v.v. 11-13.

Yahshua warned us, "Enter ye in at the strait gate....Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it," Mt. 7:12,14.

The word "strait" means, narrow (from obstacles standing close about).  The word "narrow" is the Greek word "thlibo" meaning also to crowd (lit. or fig.), afflict, throng, suffer, tribulation, trouble.

When anyone first hears the "truth" what are their chief obstacles?  What stands close to them as obstacles? Isn't it "loved ones?" It may be a husband, wife, children, parents, other relatives, friends, etc. It may also be a job that stands in the way of the sabbath and holy days.

Such close things begin to trouble, persecute and afflict the one going the way of truth. It causes many to simply give up on it and continue in the easy ways of this world, the broad way.

But a few will set their minds on the truth and steam forward full speed ahead. It may cost them many close ones or job or whatever, but the truth of the kingdom is much more precious to them.

The road is never easy for after the initial shock of losing loved ones, job, etc., they continue to have obstacle after obstacle, trial after trial, persecution after persecution, tribulation after tribulation.

The believer not only has his personal trials but the body of Messiah collectively has trial after trial when we attempt to do Yahweh's work.  Branded as "heretics" and "deceivers" Satan continues to throw obstacle after obstacle into the path of Yahweh's work. He sows tares among the wheat which spring up more rapidly overshadowing the wheat, choking them out, as well as, leeching the nutrients from them.

Many "false" brethren will also come in causing disruptions, sowing discord, doubt, confusion in order to lead away a following of their own. Therefore, the true believers are buffeted without and within. The obstacles continue to "crowd" in on the true believers but if we will keep our eyes focused on Yahshua and into Yahweh's word we will be able to overcome and endure.

We must remember that in this world, this life, we will receive tribulation and persecution for working true works. In the life to come we will find "rest" (menuwchah).

Notice that Rev. 14:12 says the saints keep the "commandments" of Yahweh and the "faith" of Yahshua. The two go hand in hand. They are not separate from one another.

MARRIAGE & LOVE

Menuwchah also means "marriage" and the book of Revelation reveals the coming marriage of the Lamb, "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.' And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he saith unto me, 'Write, 'Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.'' And he saith unto me, 'These are the true sayings of Elohim,'" Rev. 19:7-9.

It seems that most people overlook the fact that being righteous is important with Yahweh. Psalm 119 goes hand in hand with Romans and 1 John helps us sum up what righteousness is, for the Psalmist says, "Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and THY LAW IS TRUTH," Psa. 119:142. "...all THY COMMANDMENTS ARE TRUTH," Psa. 119:151. "THY WORD IS TRUE from the beginning: and every one of THY RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS ENDURETH FOR EVER," Psa. 119:160. "My tongue shall speak of thy word: for ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE RIGHTEOUSNESS," Psa. 119:172.

From this Psalm we learn that Yahweh's law, His commandments, His word is truth, in other words  it is the definition of truth. We also obtain the definition of righteousness for it says, "Thy commandments are righteousness."

The definition of love is found in the book of Romans, "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for HE THAT LOVETH ANOTHER HATH FULFILLED THE LAW. For this, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet;' and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.' Love worketh no ill to his neighbor therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW," Ro. 13:8-10. Therefore we have an added definition of Yahweh's law which is love.

A LIGHT

Furthermore Psa. 119:103 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."  In Psa. 119:160 we found that Yahweh's word is true (truth).  Also verse 172 speaks of Yahweh's word saying that the commandments are righteousness. Yahweh's commandments are His word which is defined as light. Yahweh's law, His commandments, His word is truth, righteousness, love and light. More could be added but this will suffice for now.

Yahshua said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill," Mt. 5:17. In fulfilling the law He performed, obeyed, worked all righteousness, love, truth, light.

The apostle John bears witness to this word of Yahweh, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with Elohim, and the word was Elohim. The same was in the beginning with Elohim. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the LIGHT of men. And the LIGHT shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from Elohim, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the LIGHT, that all men through him might believe.  He was not the LIGHT, but was sent to bear witness of that LIGHT. That was the true LIGHT Which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. (This sentence probably should read thusly, "That the true light which enlightens every man was coming into the world.)  He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and world knew Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of Elohim, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born (s/b begotten/conceived/generated), not of blood (original Gk.= bloods which would mean blood lines, genealogies), nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Elohim. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, 'This was He of Whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me.' And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth by Yahshua the Messiah (The Greek Interlinear renders it, "grace and truth through Yahshua Messiah came into being")," Jn. 1:1-17.

We find herein that Yahshua was the Word, (v.v. 1, 14) and Light (v.v. 4, 7, 8 and 9), that He was full of Truth (v.v. 14, 17). Since the word, the law, the commandments are described as Light and truth we can only deduct that Yahshua is the law personified, the law of life, light, truth, righteousness, brought into reality, into existence for man. It is through Him that we may enter into life, truth, righteousness, the law of life.

It is interesting that the word for life in Jn. 1:4 is the Greek word "zoe."  Bullinger's Companion Bible says, "i.e. fountain of life." He further comments on it in Appendix 170. 1 : zoe = life in all its manifestations; from the life of Elohim down to the lowest vegetable. It is life in activity, and thus especially is the opposite of death. It involves resurrection life and eternal life; and hence, as such, is the "gift of Elohim" (Rom. 6:23; 1 Jn. 5:12). For the same reason its verb "zao" is frequently used of, and put for, resurrection life (Mt. 9:18; Mk. 16:11; LK. 24: 5, 23; Jn. 11:25-26; Acts 1:3; 9:41; 25:19; Ro. 6:10; 14:9; 2 Cor. 13:4; Rev. 1:18; 2:8; 13:14; 20:4, 5).

John adds, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of THE WORD OF LIFE; (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that ETERNAL LIFE, which was with [Gk. "pros" = by the side of] the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Yahshua the Messiah," 1 Jn. 1:1-3.

Both John and Bullinger agree that Yahshua is life, the life of men, eternal life. John continues, "This is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that Elohim/Yahweh is LIGHT, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Yahshua the Messiah His Son cleanseth us from all sin," 1 Jn. 1:5-7.

John also says, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law," 1 Jn. 3:4.  Herein is the definition of sin. Sin is the opposite of law, lawlessness is the opposite of righteousness just as darkness is the opposite of light, lies are the opposite of truth, death is the opposite of life.

Yahweh and His Son Yahshua are light, life, truth, law. How can the bride of the Lamb prepare herself for the marriage?

Israel was married to Yahweh at one time, "Turn, O backsliding children, saith Yahweh, for I am married unto you," Jer. 3:14. But Yahweh divorced them, casting them out of the land of Canaan because of their rebellious disobedience.

We are reminded in the book of Acts, "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, 'We ought to OBEY Yahweh rather than men. The Elohim of our fathers raised up Yahshua, Whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath Yahweh exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness (grace, mercy) of sins. And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, Whom Yahweh hath given to them that OBEY HIM," Acts 5:29-32.

Today many proclaim that they are following the Saviour Who did away with the law. It is a way of lawlessness, a way of disobedience to Yahweh's laws. They say they have fellowship with Elohim, Who is light, yet they are walking in the darkness of disobedience. John says such are lying and are not doing the truth.

The true believer must repent, turn away from the deceitful, lawless way of darkness, and death, and follow Yahshua Who was righteous, fulfilled the law, obeyed the Father in light and truth, setting an example that we should follow in His steps (1 Pet. 2:21-22).

SANCTIFICATION

Yahshua prayed to the Father, "Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word (law, commandment) is truth. As Thou has sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified THROUGH THE TRUTH. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR WORD. That they all may be ONE; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in thee, that they may be ONE IN US: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be ONE, even as We are ONE: I IN THEM AND THOU IN ME, THAT THEY MAY BE MADE PERFECT IN ONE, and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me," Jn. 17:17-23.

The way to be ONE with Yahshua and the Father is to believe in Yahshua, which is faith coupled with obedience. We must also eat of Yahshua's flesh and drink of His blood as He stated in Jn. 6:28-63 that He might be in us and we in Him.

Paul writes that We must put on the Master Yahshua being clothed with Him, Ro. 13:14; 2 Cor. 5:1-5; Gal. 3:27. If we repent of our sins (transgressions of the law) as following His example of doing no sin nor having guile in our mouth, and are baptized in Yahshua's true name, the ONLY NAME under heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12) then we receive the earnest of the Holy Spirit and are clothed with Yahshua.

We are then in a state of betrothal, engagement, promise. It is a marriage of the Spirit. We find ourselves being one with Yahshua for He is in us and we in Him and as Paul states, we have also put Him on. We also find ourselves one with the heavenly Father, Yahweh, for He is in Yahshua and Yahshua is in Him.

We have received the earnest of the Spirit, we are sealed with the promise of inheritance unto the day of redemption (2 Cor. 5:5; 2 Cor. 1:22; Eph. 1:12-14). We shall enter marriage/rest (menuwchah) with Him.

Menuwchah also means abode. When the seventh angel of the book of Revelation sounds his trumpet, there are voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Master and of His Messiah; and He shall reign for ever and ever," (Rev. 11:15).

We also read, "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahshua, and for the word of Yahweh, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with the Messiah a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand Years," Rev. 20:4-6.

The kingdoms of this world will soon become the kingdoms of Yahweh and His Messiah. The resurrected saints shall live and reign with the Messiah for a thousand years. But where will that reign be ruled from? Revelation adds a little more information, "And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, 'Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou was slain, and hast redeemed them to Yahweh by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation; and hast made them unto our Elohim kings and priests, and they shall REIGN ON THE EARTH,'" chapter 5:8-10.

THE KINGDOM LAW

But where does the reign on the earth commence from? "Behold, the day of Yahweh cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the People shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall Yahweh go forth and fight against those nations as when He fought in the day of battle. AND HIS FEET SHALL STAND IN THAT DAY UPON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, WHICH IS BEFORE JERUSALEM ON THE EAST and toward the west, and there shall be a great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the day of Uzziah king of Judah: AND YAHWEH MY ELOHIM SHALL COME AND ALL THE SAINTS WITH THEE.....And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts, and keep the feast of tabernacles," Zech. 14:1-5, 16.

Isaiah says, "The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. and it shall come to pass IN THE LAST DAYS, that the mountain of Yahweh's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths:' FOR OUT OF ZION SHALL GO FORTH THE LAW, AND THE WORD OF YAHWEH FROM JERUSALEM. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more," Isa. 2:1-4. (See also Micah 4:1-3).

As these scriptures foretell, Yahshua, the King of kings and Master of masters, Noble of nobles (Rev. 19:16) and His saints will dwell at Zion in Jerusalem from whence His law of light, love, truth, righteousness, and rest shall go forth. It will spread from there throughout the whole earth. Once they learn of Yahweh's ways and His laws they will no longer be restless, hating, distrustful, learning war. Peace and rest (menuwchah) will fill the whole earth, "Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them," Psa. 119:165.

This peace and rest comes through Yahshua, "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots ("I Yahshua have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the assemblies. I am the Root and Offspring [Branch] of David, and the bright and morning star," Rev. 22:16): and the spirit of Yahweh shall rest upon Him, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of fear of Yahweh; and shall make Him quick of understanding in the fear of Yahweh: and He shall not judge after the sight of His eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of His ears: but with RIGHTEOUSNESS (commandments) shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked. And righteousness (commandments/laws of Yahweh) shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest (menuwchah) shall be glorious," Isa. 11:1-10.

We find then that when Yahshua and His saints make Jerusalem and Zion their abode (menuwchah) that Yahweh's law, His word, His commandments will go forth in righteousness bringing peace and rest (menuwchah) to the earth.

Thus we are instructed to pray, "Our Father Which art in heaven, Hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven," Mt. 6:9-10.  As there is peace, rest, light, joy, rejoicing, etc. in heaven, even so, when Yahweh's kingdom is brought and installed on earth, peace, rest, light, joy, rejoicing, etc., will fill the earth.

The menuwchah, rest, marriage, abode will last 1000 years until Satan is loosed again for a little season. Peter says that one day with Yahweh is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 Pet. 3:8). We find, therefore, that Yahweh has assigned 6 one thousand year days for man to work the works of his own hands but the seventh period of 1000 years is the menuwchah all corresponding with our 7 day week ending in the sabbath rest (shabath). The menuwchah is an expansion, a magnification of the sabbath.

Those who attain the first resurrection are blessed and holy for they shall not only live and reign with Messiah for 1000 years but they also enter into rest (menuwchah). They have victory over death.

SABBATH OBEDIENCE

As we observe Yahweh's sabbath (shabbat), the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day rest (sabbaton), it should remind us of the past when Yahweh as Creator recreated, remolded, refashioned the earth which had become destroyed (a state of lawless, chaotic restlessness). It also serves as a sign between Yahweh and us that He is our Elohim and we are His people.  Finally, it teaches us of future promises, the promised inheritance of rulership, marriage, rest, millenium, habitation.

The sabbath is a type of Yahshua the Messiah for it is through Him that the Father created all things (Jn. 1:1-14; Heb. 1:1-2; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:13-18; 1 Cor. 8:6). It is through Him that we can have boldness to enter the holiest place (Heb. 4:14-16; 8:6; 9:14; 10:19-25; 12:22-24; Eph. 1:3-23; 1 Cor. 1:1-3; Ro. 1:1-7) turning us to the Father so that we may be His people, His saints and He our Elohim. It is through Yahshua that we receive the promised inheritance of life, peace, rest (1 Tim. 1:1-2; Heb. 9:15; 1 Pet. 1-15; 2 Pet. 1:1-4; 2 Tim. 1:1-2).  Yahshua is Yahweh's power to bring us into menuwchah and He is our power to enter therein.

To be continued…..  JH

Our journey through the Hebrew alphabet continues with the letter peh. It would be so marvelous if we could cover each letter to every perfect detail, but there just wouldn’t be enough paper, nor books available to cover everything to the finest detail. We are so critically limited by the finite time that we have in this life. Yahweh is eternal. His language is eternal. His alphabet is also eternal. All that being said, we hope to reveal some amazing facts here.

By Jerry Healan

The peh is the seventeenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. It looks like this (p/p/p) in the Pictorial, Paleo, and Modern Hebrew respectively. It also has a final form that looks like this @. It is equivalent to the number 80, while the final form is equivalent to 800. It is the picture of a mouth and that is the meaning of its name.

Robert M. Haralick writes, “The seventeenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is p, spelled ape, and alternately spelled hp,, mouth, speech, saying, order, command, orifice, opening, entrance, mouthful, and extremity or border.” (The Inner Meaning of the Hebrew Letters, p. 243) NOTE: Scripturally, the preferred spelling seems to be  hp,.

The chet (h/j/x) is the number 8, which is the number for new beginnings and also the number of the masculine word for “love (bha).” The aleph (a), which equals to the number one is projected into the chet which has to do with new beginnings, love, and life. It is further projected into the peh (p/@) which projects it all into existence. (Hopefully, I can explain.)

Here is an amazing thing. The aleph is spelled @la in Hebrew. If the word is reversed to alp, the resulting word, pela, means miracle, wonder! Furthermore, the primitive root, “pala” (alp) means; to separate, distinguish, to be great, difficult, wonderful!

It was the word of Yahweh            (efe-ri-bd/hwhy-rbd) that performed the miracle of speaking the creation into existence, “4For the word of Yahweh (efei-rbd/hwhy-rbd) is right; and all his works are done in truth. 5He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of Yahweh. 6By the word of Yahweh   (efei-rbd/hwhy-rbd) were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth (hp,). 7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8Let all the earth fear Yahweh: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast,” Psa. 33:4-9.

Yahshua is revealed to be the Word of Yahweh (efei-rbd/hwhy-rbd), “1In the beginning was the Word       (rbd/rbd), and the Word (rbd/rbd) was with Yahweh (efei/hwhy), and the Word (rbd/rbd) was Yahweh (efei/hwhy). 2The same was in the beginning with Yahweh (efei/hwhy). 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made...10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not,” Jn. 1:1-3, 10-11.

Sadly, His creation still doesn’t know Him, His own still reject Him, and many who have been called to His kingdom still don’t know Him, and deny who He is, and what He has done.

SEVENTEEN

Keep in mind that 17 is the 7th prime number (the seventh number that can only be divided by itself and one). Seven is the number for spiritual completion and perfection. Seventeen is the number for victory according to Evangelist Ed F. Vallowe in his book entitled Biblical Mathematics. The key reason for this is that Yahshua was resurrected on the 17th day of the month Abib. He died and was buried on the 14th day (Passover). He was in the grave for three days and nights, therefore, He was resurrected on the 17th day (14 + 3 = 17).

Seventeen is a combination of seven (represented by the letter zayin which in the more ancient Pictorial Hebrew is the picture of a mattock [z], a harvesting implement, but in the Modern Hebrew, is the picture of a sword [z]), and ten (represented by a hand, and the initial letter in Yahweh’s name [i/y] in both).

Yahshua sent His disciples out to harvest men out of this world who will be gathered into His kingdom at the end of the age, “14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand (i = 10) a sharp sickle (z). 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped,” Rev. 14:14-16).

But when He returns He will have a sharp sword (z) coming out of His mouth (p), “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of El Shaddai,” Rev. 19:15.

Who is He called? “11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of Yahweh,” Rev. 19:11-13.

Interestingly, if we add the integers that make up 17 (1 + 7), the result is 8 which, again, is the number for new beginnings, and the number for Yahweh’s love. Yahshua will soon return to this earth, will put down all rule, establish the millennial kingdom and usher in peace and rest. It will be a new beginning that will usher in the eternal new heavens and new earth.

THE NAMES

The first name for the letter p/p is ap. This would have to do with the mouth (p/p) of the aleph a/a by which all things come into existence and are upheld. In reality, as we look at the spelling for the letter alephpla/pla—we can see aleph (a/a) = head, chief, first, lamed (l/l) = rod of authority, shepherd’s rod, to teach, etc., peh (p/p) = mouth, word, command, etc. Thus, the aleph spelled out reveals the head/chief authority’s/shepherd’s word/command.

However, if we add the numerical value of ap/ap the result is 81 (a/a = 1, p/p = 80). 81 is the product of 9 x 9. Nine is the number for judgment, thus we have judgment multiplied! How are we released from this multiplied judgment?

Let’s take a look at the secondary name and spelling ep/hp. This is a combination of the peh (p/p) and the hei (e/h). Hei means lo, behold, to reveal. Thus, it has to do with the revelation of the mouth, word, command. We look at the creation which is the revelation of the mouth, word of Yahweh!

However, hei is the number 5 which is the number for grace! Now we have the mouth, word (p/p) of grace (e/h)!

Let’s allow Robert M. Haralick to do some more explaining:

“Now, the essence of a spiritual event can be understood from the gematria of hp. hp has a value of 85. The word hkmk (kamokah), which means like you, also has the gematria of 85.

“Who is like Thee (hkmk), O Yahweh, among the elohim? Who is like Thee (hkmk), in holiness, awesome in praises, doing wonders (alp)?” Ex. 15:11.

In addition to whatever else it is, the internal spiritual event recognizes and acknowledges, with amazement, the benevolence of the Divine, and that there is nothing that the Divine can be compared with.

The word hj;l.m;aI (amaltah) has the gematria of 85 and means let me escape.

Behold now, this town is near enough to run to, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape to there (is it not a little one?). And my soul shall live, “Gen. 19:20.

What is it that we use our freedom for? We use our freedom to escape the destruction that is inherent in seeing the world as only material and limited. And when we see the world in its spiritual aspects as well and when we act in accordance with these spiritual aspects, then we bring to fruition the internal spiritual event. We bring into manifestation the inner spiritual force. This can be seen by spelling out hp: ah hp. The gematria is 91, the combined gematria of hwhy (Yahweh) and ynda (Adonai = Sovereign/Master), the names used to denote that aspect of Elohim that brings existence into being and is associated with judgment in the kingdom. This is reinforced by the word ~hyhla (Elohehem) which has a gematria of 91 and means their Elohim.

And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him: “How long shall this one be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve Yahweh their Elohim (~hyhla). Knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?” Ex. 10:7.

“And they shall know that I am Yahweh their Elohim (~hyhla), who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them. I am Yahweh their Elohim (~hyhla),” Ex. 29:46.

“They shall be holy unto their Elohim (~hyhla), and not profane the name of their Elohim (~hyhla); for the fire-offerings of Yahweh, the bread of their Elohim (~hyhla), they do offer: therefore, they shall be holy,” Lev. 21:6.

“And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy the utterly, and to break covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their Elohim (~hyhla),” Lev. 26:44.

This is reinforced by the word ~yhlah (ha-Elohim), which has the gematria of 91 and which means the Elohim and is used throughout Genesis.

Having the numerical value of 80, p is the projection into time and conditioned physical existence of the essence of the letter energy intelligence of x (chet), which has the numerical value of 8 and means the archetype of life. Also, the numerical value of p, 80, is the same as the numerical value for ~m (mem), the spelling of the letter m (mem). This reminds us that the fruition of any internal event must be the meaning of m, perfection and completion. This is the revealed meaning of the letter energy intelligence of p.

The shape of the letter p is that of a k (kaph) with a 180-degree rotated y  (yod). The k symbolized ylk (kali), which means container, vessel, or tool. This symbolism is reinforced by the word %P, which means flask, bottle, jar, or vessel. The y symbolizes the soul bound in the human body, which is a container or tool for the soul. The spirituality of the y inside the p means that the mouth is an entrance for manifesting Godliness. Hence, if the mouth is not being used for Divine service, the entranceway should be closed.” (The Inner Meaning of the Hebrew Letters, pp. 245-247)

The Hebrew word for “redemption” is padah (edp/hdp). Since peh also is an opening, padah would mean opening/entrance (p/p) door (d/d) of grace (e/h). We are redeemed through the grace of Yahweh which is in Yahshua, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Yahweh,” Eph. 2:8.22

SOMETHING AMAZING

Amazingly, if the integers are added together from 1 to 17, the sum will be 153. Remember the 153 fishes that the apostles caught at Yahshua’s direction? “1After these things Yahshua shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. 2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. 3Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. 4But when the morning was now come, Yahshua stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Yahshua. 5Then Yahshua saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7Therefore that disciple whom Yahshua loved saith unto Peter, It is the Master. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Master, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10Yahshua saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken,” Jn. 21:1-11.

They had labored all night fishing, yet caught nothing. At the dawn Yahshua appears and sends forth His word out of His mouth to cast the net on the right side and they will find them. They obeyed Him and caught 153 fishes!

Did you know that this number, 153, is equivalent to the numerical value of the name Bezaleel who was given the spiritual understanding to build the ark of the covenant, the tabernacle and all of its appurtenances in the wilderness? (Ex. 31:2) His name in Hebrew is lalcB. B = 2; c = 90; l = 30; a = 1; l = 30 = 153.

Isaiah 22 speaks of Eliyakim son of Hilkiah. Eliyakim means “El of raising” while Hilkiah means “Portion, or inheritance of Yahweh.” This could also be translated as: El of resurrecting the inheritance of Yahweh, which is exactly what Yahshua does.

Hilkiah = hyqlx. x = 8; l = 30; q = 100; y = 10; h = 5 = 153.

Through Yahshua, we become the sons of Elohim, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Elohim, even to them that believe on his name,” Jn. 1:12. “Sons of Elohim” is ~yhlah ynB in Hebrew. B = 2; n = 50; y = 10; h = 5; a = 1; l = 30; h = 5; y = 10; ~ = 40; = 153.

If we believe the words of His mouth (peh/p/p) we will become the Sons of Elohim (~yhlah ynB = 153), and He will resurrect us into the portion or inheritance of Yahweh (hyqlx = 153), because He is greater than Bezaleel (lalcB = 153) who built the earthly dwelling place for Yahweh by the hands of man, but Yahshua builds the heavenly, spiritual dwelling place for Yahweh.

THE EVIL MOUTH

The eventual agent of evil is discovered in Pharaoh king of Egypt. The word Pharaoh looks like this in Hebrew h[rP. Notice that the outer letters are hP, mouth, while the inner letters are [r, evil.

The Pharaoh who was raised up not knowing Joseph exposed the heart, the inner intent of his office by dealing subtly with the Hebrews to bring them into bondage. That bondage became so harsh and cruel that he eventually commanded them to destroy all of their own male children. It was during this time that Yahweh raised up Moses through whom He was going to deliver Israel out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Pharaoh was only a human tool, human instrument for the serpent to perform his works of bondage and destruction. The Pharaoh’s even wore the headdress with the serpent’s head thereon. This revealed him to be the serpent’s servant.

The serpent initially deceived the woman Eve (Chavvah) into partaking of the forbidden fruit. We have finally entered the last days of the earth’s history under the authority and leadership of the descendants of the first man Adam who are under the evil influence of the serpent.

Once again, we see the deceptive powers of the serpent and man’s government under his influence, deceiving the women and men to destroy their seed, their children through abortion.

Robert M. Haralick writes, “The deliverance that the letter energy intelligence p brings is deliverance from enslavement and violence, a separation from enslavement and violence. Where there is no enslavement and violence, freedom must reign. And where freedom reigns, there is the possibility of causing the future to be as we want it to be. There is the possibility of changing ourselves, or growing, and entering a higher state of consciousness, a higher state of being.” (IBID, p. 247)

Absolutely! If we understand that the letter peh (p/p) comes from the mouth of Yahshua the Messiah and is first and foremost a type of Him and His office and character!

He continues, “Exercise of freedom is fundamentally involved with speech, the channel through which ideas and thoughts are communicated. So it is no surprise that when @ combines with the letter energy intelligence of r, which is the archetype for physical existence, there forms the word @r;, which means page, leaf, or plank. One principal form of communication is the written word on a page of paper…

In our exercise of speech and freedom, we must use care when we do, make, influence, form, create, or act  l[;p; (pa’al).

We must use care when we do keep to keep from tottering, which is the root qp (paq), into transgression, [v;p, (pesha). We must turn away, hn;p; (panah), speaking about worthless matters or refuse, which is the word tl,wOsp.. And what are worthless matters, matters inappropriate to talk about? Such matters are gossip and rumors. The verb root used in the phrase of spreading a rumor is xrp (parah), which means to fly, to break out and to speak out. In the Pentateuch, xrp is associated with the breaking out of leprosy.

With the exercise of sufficient care in what we do and say, we create the conditions for hrp (parah), whose other meaning is to bud, blossom, bloom, flower, to sprout, flourish, prosper, and thrive.

When ap combines with r, forming the root rap (par), which means to adorn, beautify, decorate, ornament, embellish, praise, glorify, or crown and raep. (pe’er), which means glory, luxury, or magnificence as well as the alternate meaning headdress, these are the characteristics to be longing for and preparing for in Yahshua.

The thoughts in the mind are at the extremity of the physical realm. They reach the physical realm in communication through the mouth (peh/p/p). The spoken thoughts that emanate from the mouth have the power to scatter and destroy obsolete structure while at the same time to beautify, glorify, and crown the magnificence of physical existence by breaking through all self-imposed limitation. The choice is ours to exercise that freedom and grow or to not exercise it and to waste away in lifeless form and structure.  Let us choose to glorify and crown. (IBID pp. 248-254)  JH
