An Open Letter to all the Brethren in YAHshua Messiah

Dear Brethren in YAHshua Messiah,

Greetings in the blessed name of YAHshua Messiah Who loved us, and washed (cleansed) us from our sins in His Own blood.

Revelation 1 (4) John to the seven Assemblies which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before HIS throne; (5) And from YAHshua Messiah, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and ^*washed us from our sins in His Own blood,

^*G3068 means to bathe. As you read this letter, it is a very important fact to remember that it has to do with cleansing. I am color coding cleansing and other related things such as those being cleansed in light blue.. Red brings attention to Israel, green to second coming, & [pink my comments in scripture].

Continuing with six: (6) And hath made us kings and priests unto Elohim and His FATHER; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (7) Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye [including Israel's] shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds [including Israel] of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Philippians 2 (10) That at the name of YAHshua every knee [including Israel's] should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue [including Israel's] should confess that YAHshua Messiah is Sovereign, to the glory of YAHWEH the FATHER.

The above scriptures refer to YAHshua, (YAH/YAHWEH's Salvation or Salvation of YAH/YAHWEH).

At the moment, my main focus is on YAHWEH, YAHshua, and cleansing for all Israel. After all, it seems that second to YAHWEH and YAHshua and their Righteousness, the main focus in the scriptures is the past, present, and future history of the relationship of YAHWEH and His Chosen People Israel which includes all Believers in YAHshua Messiah who are grafted in with them.

The foundational scripture for the above verses is found in Isaiah 45:22-25.

Isaiah 45 (22) Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am El, and there is none else. (23) I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (24) Surely, shall one say, in YAHWEH have I righteousness and strength: even to Him shall men come; and all [including Israel] that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed. (25) In YAHWEH shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Please focus your attention on these special points again from all the above verses.

“Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His Own blood”

“He [YAHshua Messiah] cometh with clouds; and every eye [including Israel's] shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds [including Israel] of the earth shall wail because of Him.”

“At the name of YAHshua every knee [including Israel's] should bow”

“And that every tongue [including Israel's] should confess that YAHshua Messiah is Sovereign”

“All [including Israel] that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed”

“In YAHWEH shall all the seed of Israel be justified.”

Let us ask ourselves, “When did it happen that all, including Israel, that were incensed against Him become ashamed?” and when did “In YAHWEH all the seed of Israel become justified?” Also, when were the following scriptures concerning Israel fulfilled?

Romans 11 (26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away wickedness from Jacob [Israel]: (27) For this is MY Covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Hebrews 8 (10) For this is the Covenant that I will make with the House of Israel after those days, saith YAHWEH; I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them an Elohim, and they shall be to Me a people: (11) And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAHWEH: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest. (12) For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. [Jer 31:31-34]

Did all of the Twelve Tribes of Israel receive the atonement (covering) and have YAHWEH's laws been written in their hearts and have their sins been forgiven as promised under the New Covenant? According to the scripture below, the answer is no.

Romans 11 (7) What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the ^*Election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. … (11) I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? YAHWEH forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. … (23) And they also, if they [i.e. Israel] abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for YAHWEH is able to graft them in again. (24) For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? … (25) For I would not, Brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

^*Romans 5 (11) And not only so, but we also joy in YAHWEH through our Sovereign YAHshua Messiah, by Whom we [the Elect of YAHWEH] have now received the atonement [covering].

When will the fulness of the Gentiles be come in and the blindness of Israel be lifted in order for them to repent, receive the atonement (covering) and have YAHWEH's laws written in their hearts and have their sins forgiven as promised under the New Covenant?

Those of Israel that had eyes to see and ears to hear heeded the Acts 2:36-41.

Acts 2 (36) Therefore let all the House of Israel know assuredly, that YAHWEH hath made that same YAHshua, Whom ye have crucified, both Sovereign and Messiah. (37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YAHshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (39) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as YAHWEH our Elohim shall call. (40) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Romans 11 (26) And ^*so [in this way or manner] all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away wickedness from Jacob: (27) For this is MY Covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

^*G3779. houto, hoo'-to; or (before a vowel) houtos, hoo'-toce; adv. from G3778; in this way (referring to what precedes or follows):--after that, after (in) this manner, as, even (so), for all that, like (-wise), no more, on this fashion (-wise), so (in like manner), thus, what.

The way or manner is: If they [i.e. Israel] abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in. (verse 23)

Let us ask ourselves once again, “When will all [including Israel] that are incensed against Him be ashamed?” and when shall “In YAHWEH shall all the seed of Israel be justified?” What great event could take place that would cause Israel to repent and abide not in unbelief in order for them to repent and receive the atonement (covering) and have YAHWEH's laws written in their hearts and have their sins forgiven as promised under the New Covenant?

Part of the answer is in the verses that are written above. Here they are again.

Revelation (7) Behold, He [YAHshua Messiah] cometh with clouds; and every eye [including Israel's] shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds [including Israel] of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Surely, that great event will happen when the Trump of YAHWEH sounds for YAHshua's awesome return and the Resurrection of the Dead in Messiah.

I Thessalonians 4 (14) For if we believe that YAHshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in YAHshua will YAHWEH bring with Him. (15) For this we say unto you by the word of YAHWEH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Sovereign shall not precede them which are asleep. (16) For the Sovereign Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of YAHWEH: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Sovereign in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Sovereign.

Also, when the seventh trumpet of the seventhseal of Revelation 11:15 is blown, the Messiah will come.

Revelation 11 (15) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Elohim, and of HIS Messiah; and He shall reign for ever and ever.

I truly believe that when the times of the Gentiles be come in and on the annual holy day of the Feast of Trumpets when all Israel sees the awesome return of YAHshua and the Resurrection of YAHWEH’s Saints they will have their blindness lifted. When every eye, including theirs, sees and every knee, including theirs, bows to Him Israel will know that YAHshua is the Messiah that they rejected almost two thousand years ago. Israel will then be brought to understand that YAHshua, the Lamb of YAHWEH, was portrayed by the Passover sacrifice and that He rose from the grave three days and three nights later to be the Wave Sheaf Offering on the first day of the week during the annual feast of the Days of Unleavened Bread. They will understand that on the day of the Feast of Weeks that YAHWEH's Holy Spirit was given to help the Believers in YAHshua through the process of repentance, atonement, cleansing, justification, reconciliation, redemption and living a holy and obedient life. They will also be brought to understand that the goat that YAHWEH's lot fell upon in Leviticus 16 on the annual holy day of the Day of Atonements portrayed YAHshua Who was to truly cleanse Israel from all their uncleanliness and transgressions in all their sins as Lev. 16:15-16 states.

Leviticus 16 (15) Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: (16) And he shall make an atonement [covering] for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the Children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

At the return of YAHshua, all Israel who has been incensed against Messiah will surely become ashamed and will then begin repenting and desiring to receive their atonement (covering,) cleansing, justification, reconciliation, and redemption. I believe that all Israel's atonement (covering) will happen on the annual holy day of the Day of Atonements. That my dear Brethren, seems to be what the Day of Atonements foretells -i.e.- the CLENSING of all ISRAEL following YAHshua's return on the Feast of Trumpets! However, it must be reiterated here that those who have been called and those who had eyes to see and ears to hear and repented are already receiving the atonement as mentioned above in Romans 5:11.

Most Believers agree that the goat that was killed for the sin offering was YAHshua the Messiah. However, a deeper look needs to be taken at the Scapegoat that was used in the ceremony on the Day of Atonements. It seems to be misunderstood by many very sincere Brethren. I hope that I do not offend any of those dear Brethren with what I truly believe is the truth.

Now let us look at the Scapegoat scripture.

Leviticus 16 (10) But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the ^*Scapegoat, shall be presented alive before YAHWEH, to make an atonement [covering] with him, and to let him go for a Scapegoat ['aza'zel:H5799 goat of departure] into the wilderness…. (20) And when he hath made an end of reconciling [H3722 kaphar-covering] the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: (21) And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the Children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: (22) And the goat ['aza'zel:H5799 goat of departure] shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

^*H5799 'aza'zel, az-aw-zale'; from ¹H5795 & ²H235; goat of departure; the scapegoat:--scapegoat. STRONGS

¹H5795. 'ez, aze; from H5810; a she-goat (as strong), but masc. in plur. (which also is used elliptic. for goats' hair):--(she) goat, kid. STRONGS

²H235. 'azal, aw-zal'; a prim. root; to go away; hence to disappear:--fail, gad about, go to and fro [but in Ezek. 27:19 the word is rendered by many “from Uzal,” by others “yarn”], be gone (spent). STRONGS

According to Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, the sign “:--” simply means that the words following it are other words that the translators of the KJV used to translate the referred to word in other places. In the last meaning above, KJV correctly translated the word number H235 as to go away; hence to disappear. However, they translate that word number in other places in the scriptures as fail, gad about, go to and fro which, in my opinion, has nothing to do with what is being related in Leviticus 16. Leviticus 16 is simply relating that the scapegoat, (which according to Strongs is a she goat that departs, goes away, or disappears) bears the iniquities of the Children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins that have been confessed upon its head.

In verse 10, it is stated that the Scapegoat shall be presented alive before YAHWEH, to make an atonement (covering) with him. How, when, or where was or will that blood be shed for that atonement?

As you think upon that please keep in mind that it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Leviticus 17 (11) For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

In verse 21&22 quoted above, the Scapegoat (Goat of Departure) had Israel's iniquities confessed over him and he was to bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited.

In the scriptures, who is prophesied and qualified to be made an atonement with and bear all the iniquities of the Children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins upon himself?

The prophet Isaiah prophesied about who would bear upon himself all our iniquities.

Isaiah 53 (10) Yet it pleased YAHWEH to bruise Him; HE hath put Him to grief: when THOU shalt make His soul [life] an offering for sin, HE shall see HIS seed, HE shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of YAHWEH shall prosper in His hand. (11) HE shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall MY righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities. (12) Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He hath poured out His soul unto death: and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

The Apostle John confirmed that it was YAHshua Messiah.

I Peter 2 (21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps: (22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: (23) Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously: (24) Who His Own Self bare our sins in His Own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed [Isa. 53:5-6].

The Goat chosen for YAHWEH's sacrifice represented YAHshua Messiah for He became the sin offering. The sprinkling of the blood from the sin offering by those priests in the earthly tabernacle portrayed YAHshua Messiah's ongoing cleansing, intercessory, and redemptive work as our High Priest and our Advocate with the FATHER.

I John 2 (I) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the FATHER, YAHshua Messiah the Righteous: (2) And He is the ^*propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

^*G2434. hilasmos, hil-as-mos'; atonement, i.e. (concretely.) an expiator:--propitiation.

YAHshua Messiah was the only one qualified or prophesied to bear the sins of all and to be the sin offering for Israel and those grafted in with them for it was and is His blood that maketh an atonement once for all! (The victim of a sin offering had to be blemish free only YAHshua could qualify.)

Hebrews 10 (8) Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin THOU wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (9) Then said He, Lo, I come to do THY will, O Elohim. HE taketh away the first, that HE may establish the second. (10) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of YAHshua Messiah once for all. (11) And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (12) But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of YAHWEH; (13) From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. (14) For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are ^*sanctified. (15) Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that HE had said before, (16) This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith YAHWEH, I will put MY laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. [Jer 31:31-34]

^*G37. hagiazo, hag-ee-ad'-zo; from G40; to make holy, i.e. (cer.) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate:--hallow, be holy, sanctify.

Has all Israel been sanctified, hallowed, consecrated made holy and put under the New Covenant with YAHWEH's laws written in their hearts and had all sins and iniquities and remembered no more? The penalty was paid by YAHshua Messiah, the sin offering, but there has to be repentance before receiving atonement (covering) sanctification, rustication, hallowing, cleansing, washing, consecrating, and holiness. After YAHshua Messiah completes doing all those things Salvation and Eternal Life will follow.

The goat that was killed for the sin offering, which represented YAHshua Messiah, died. Does that leave us with a dead Messiah and did that end the atoning (cleansing) work of YAHshua Messiah? YAHWEH forbid! YAHshua Messiah is alive and well! He is still doing that atoning (covering) sanctifying, justifying, hallowing, cleansing, washing, and consecrating work from Heaven, the place represented in the following scripture.

Leviticus 16 (10) But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before YAHWEH, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. … (21) And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the Children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: (22) And the [live] goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto ^*a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

^*According to the above scripture the Live Goat was taken unto a land not inhabited. As far as I know there is no land on Earth that is not inhabited by something that YAHWEH has created. Therefore, it surely represented a place that is not inhabited by mankind. The taking of the Live Goat unto a land not inhabited was symbolically picturing the risen Messiah going into Heaven where no flesh and blood man has been or can go.

John 3 (13) And no man hath ascended up to Heaven, but He that came down from Heaven, even the Son of Man which is in Heaven.

I Corinthians 15 (50) Now this I say, Brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of YAHWEH; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The Goat of Departure portrayed YAHshua Messiah Who after His death rose from the grave, departed, went away, or disappeared into Heaven to do the very same thing that was represented by the priest that sprinkled the blood from the sin offering. It is there in Heaven that He has been and is still doing His ongoing intercessory and redemptive work as our High Priest and our true Advocate with YAHWEH, the FATHER. HalleluYAH!!!

Maybe next year YAHshua will return on the Feast of Trumpets. Maybe on the Day of Atonements He will cleanse, save, and forgive all the iniquities of the Children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, and put them all under the terms of the New Covenant. T.A.H.
