The
Hidden Agenda in Luke 4:16-21Luke 4 (16) And He
[YAHshua] came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day, and stood up for to read. (17) And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias [Isaiah]. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, (18) The Spirit of My Sovereign YAHWEH, is upon Me, because HE hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, (19) To preach the acceptable year of YAHWEH [Isaiah 61:1] (20) And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him. (21) And He began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.YAH
shua did indeed have the spirit of YAHWEH upon Him to do all the things mentioned in the above scripture, but there was a hidden agenda that went so much deeper. The key words behind that hidden agenda are "deliverance" and "liberty." The hidden agenda of "deliverance" and "liberty" was to fulfil the same agenda that was hidden in the Levitical Priesthood with its sacrificial system.Under the Old Covenant, the Levitical Priesthood with its sacrificial system seemed to provide for
deliverance and liberty from the sins of Israel. The hidden agenda was that it was only temporary until under the New Covenant YAHshua (YAH’S Salvation) the Deliverer (Saviour) became the supreme sacrifice for all our sins.Hebrews 10 (8) Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin THOU wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; (9) Then said He, Lo, I come to do THY will, O
Elohim. [Psalm 40:6-8] HE taketh away the first, that HE may establish the second. (10) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of YAHshua Messiah once for all. (11) And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (12) But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of YAHWEH; (13) From henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. (14) For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (15) Whereof the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that HE had said before, (16) This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith YAHWEH, I will put MY laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more [Jer 31:31-34].By the sacrifice of Himself,
YAHshua freed us from the death penalty for our sins and literally saved our life.Romans 6 (22) But now being made
free from sin, and become servants to YAHWEH, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end Everlasting Life. (23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of YAHWEH is Eternal Life through YAHshua Messiah our Sovereign.Romans 5 (8) But
YAHWEH commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us. (9) Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to YAHWEH by the death of HIS Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. (11) And not only so, but we also joy in YAHWEH through our Sovereign YAHshua Messiah, by Whom we have now received the atonement. (12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:The progression of that
hidden agenda for our ultimate deliverance (salvation) and our ultimate liberty (freedom) was also hidden in YAHWEH’S annual mow'ed (i.e. appointments, appointed times and seasons which are commonly translated as "Feasts," especially in Leviticus, chapter 23).Leviticus (I) And
YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying, (2) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the *feasts [Appointed times & seasons] of YAHWEH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy **convocations, even these are MY *feasts. (3) Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of YAHWEH in all your dwellings. (4) These are the *feasts of YAHWEH, even holy **convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their *seasons.*
H4150. mow'ed, mo-ade'; or mo'ed mo-ade'; or (fem.) mow'adah (H2 Chron. 8 : 13), mo-aw-daw'; from H3259; prop. an appointment, i.e. a fixed time or season; spec. a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand):--appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed).**
H4744. miqra', mik-raw'; from H7121; something called out, i.e. a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the place); also a rehearsal:--assembly, calling, convocation, reading.According to the apostle Shaul, those
mow'ed were & are a shadow of things to come.Colossians 2 (16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a
holyday, or of the New Moon, or of the Sabbath days: (17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is ["Is" has been inserted in to the text by translators.] of Messiah.Let us begin with the first
Appointed time or season mentioned in the list found in Leviticus, chapter 23.The Sabbath Day
If you will notice
YAHWEH’S weekly Sabbath Day is the very first appointed time or season mentioned in verse three of Leviticus, chapter 23.You may ask, what does the
Sabbath Day have to do with the "deliverance" and "liberty" of mankind? We will explore that after we look at the more obvious message given to carnally minded Israel. The
Sabbath Day was a memorial of YAHWEH’S rest from creating (or refashioning, which ever the case may be) Heaven and Earth etc.Exo. 20
(8) Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. (9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (10) But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YAHWEH thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: (11) For in six days YAHWEH made Heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YAHWEH blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it.It was also a sign between
YAHWEH and His people that they (All those grafted into the Olive Tree are His People too - see the eleventh chapter of Romans and Ephesians 2:11-22) are His people and it is He Who sets them apart.Ezekiel 20
(10) Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness. (11) And I gave them MY statutes, and showed them MY judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. (12) Moreover also I gave them MY Sabbaths [plural, i.e. weekly & annual], to be a sign between ME and them, that they might know that I am YAHWEH that sanctify them. Our physical bodies needs
rest every seven days to heal from the wear and tear of working six day each week to acquire our everyday needs. The mind also needs time for rest from our daily cares and it needs time to reflect upon the Creator and the purpose for which He created mankind. That is only part of the reason that YAHshua, Who says that He is Sovereign of the Sabbath Day made the following statement.Mark 2 (27) And He said unto them,
The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: (28) Therefore the Son of man is Sovereign also of the Sabbath. The hidden agenda:
According to Colossians, 2:16-17 which is quoted above, the
Sabbath Day is a shadow of things to come. So, what might that be? We may get a hint in the following scripture.Hebrews 4 (7) Again, HE limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear HIS voice, harden not your hearts
[Psalm 95:7& 11]. (8) For if YAHshua had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. (9) There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of YAHWEH. (10) For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as YAHWEH did from HIS. (11) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. The
rest spoken of in the scripture above refers not just to the people of YAHWEH (Israel and all who are grafted into the Olive tree) as they are already keeping the weekly sign identifying them as His people. After *6,000 years of walking in sin, deception, war, and miseries from following the imaginations of their own hearts mankind will have a rest of *1,000 years while the evil adversary to YAHWEH and mankind is contained.*
Psalm 90 (4) For a thousand years in THY sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.*
II Peter (8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YAHWEH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.Revelation 20 (I) And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (2) And he laid hold on the
dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and satan, and bound him a thousand years, (3) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. (4) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of YAHshua, and for the word of YAHWEH, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his Mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. (5) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (6) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of YAHWEH and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. What a
deliverance and freedom it will be with that 1,000 year Sabbath rest from mankind and his self-destructing way! YAHWEH’S people, already keeping the weekly Sabbath Day, will be reigning with YAHshua during that millennial Sabbath! HalleluYAH!!Passover Season
(Passover Season includes the seven Days of Unleavened Bread.)Leviticus 23 (5) In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is
YAHWEH’S Passover.Exodus 12 (6) And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the evenings. (7) And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. (8) And they shall eat the flesh in that night, … (11) And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is
YAHWEH’S Passover.Deuteronomy 16 (I) Observe the month of Abib, and keep the
Passover unto YAHWEH thy Elohim: for in the month of Abib YAHWEH thy Elohim brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. (2) Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the Passover unto YAHWEH thy Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YAHWEH shall choose to place HIS name there. (3) Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it [the sacrifice]; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith [Therewith! The seven days of Unleavened Bread are an integral part of the Passover "festival."], even the bread of affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life. (4) And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning. (5) Thou mayest not sacrifice the Passover within any of thy gates, which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee: (6) But at the place which YAHWEH thy Elohim shall choose to place HIS name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the Passover at even, at the going down of the sun [and/or "between the evenings"], at the season [appointed time] that thou camest forth out of Egypt. The hidden agenda:
YAHshua became the true Passover Lamb that was sacrificed for our sin.I Corinthians 5 (7) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even
Messiah our Passover [sacrifice/offering] is sacrificed for us: (8) Therefore let us keep the Feast [festival-Passover/the Days of Unleavened Bread], not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. The Wave Sheaf of the firstfruits Offering
Leviticus 23 (9) And
YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying, (10) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest [the barley harvest] unto the priest: (11) And he shall wave the sheaf before YAHWEH, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.The hidden agenda:
After YAHshua’s resurrection during the Days of Unleavened Bread, YAHshua became the Wave Sheaf Offering of the Firstfruits when He ascended to the Father to be accepted as the Firstfruits from the dead into the Kingdom of Heaven.I Corinthians 15 (20) But now is
Messiah risen from the dead, and become the Firstfruits of them that slept. (21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. (23) But every man in his own order: Messiah the Firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at His coming.YAH
shua fulfilled the Wave Sheaf Offering of the Firstfruits when He ascended to the Father on the morrow (1st day of the week) after the Sabbath.John 20 (I) The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. … (13) And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my
Sovereign, and I know not where they have laid Him. (14) And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw YAHshua standing, and knew not that it was YAHshua. (15) YAHshua saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? She, supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, Sir, if Thou have borne Him hence, tell me where Thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away. (16) YAHshua saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto Him, Rabboni; which is to say, Instructor. (17) YAHshua saith unto her, Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My FATHER: but go to My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My FATHER, and your FATHER; and to My Elohim, and your Elohim. (18) Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Sovereign, and that He had spoken these things unto her.Obviously, Mary went to the Brethren and told them that
YAHshua ascended to the FATHER as she was told, and later that day YAHshua returned and appeared to them.John 20 (19) Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came
YAHshua and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. (20) And when He had so said, He showed unto them His hands and His side.Feast of Weeks
, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest (Also called Pentecost)Bread of firstfruits
are offered fifty day after the Wave Sheaf Offering called Firstfruits unto YAHWEH in Leviticus 23. However, the appointed time itself is called Feast of Weeks in Deuteronomy 16:10 and the Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest in Exodus 34:22.Leviticus 23 (15) And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the
Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: (16) Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YAHWEH. (17) Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto YAHWEH.Deuteronomy 16 (7) And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which
YAHWEH thy Elohim shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents. (8) Six days [verse 3 says seven as well as Leviticus 23:6] thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to YAHWEH thy Elohim: thou shalt do no work therein. (9) Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn. (10) And thou shalt keep the Feast of Weeks unto YAHWEH thy Elohim with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto YAHWEH thy Elohim, according as YAHWEH thy Elohim hath blessed thee:Exodus 34 (22) And thou shalt observe the
Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering [Feast of Tabernacles] at the year's end.The hidden agenda:
It was on the Day of the Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest (called Pentecost in Acts two) that YAHWEH began pouring out His spirit by pouring it out on YAHshua’s apostles to empower them to begin the early harvest of souls.YAH
shua told His apostles to wait a Jerusalem for that event.Act (I) The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that
YAHshua began both to do and teach, (2) Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Spirit had given Commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen: (3) To whom also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of YAHWEH: (4) And, being assembled together with them [the apostles], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the FATHER, which, saith He, ye have heard of Me. (5) For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the holy spirit not many days hence. (6) When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Sovereign, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? (7) And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the FATHER hath put in His Own power. (8) But ye shall receive power, after that the holy spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.Acts 2 (I) And when the
Day of Pentecost [Feast of Weeks of the Firstfruits of the Wheat Harvest] was fully come, they [the apostles] were all with one accord in one place. (2) And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they [the apostles] were sitting. (3) And there appeared unto them [the apostles] cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them[the apostles]. (4) And they [the apostles] were all filled with the holy spirit, and began to speak with other [different] tongues, as the Spirit gave them [the apostles] utterance. The apostle Peter explained to the people who were in Jerusalem what great thing was being fulfilled on that day of the
Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest.Acts 2 (16) But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; (17) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith
YAHWEH, I will pour out of MY spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: (18) And on MY servants and on MY handmaidens I will pour out in those days of MY spirit; and they shall prophesy: (19) And I will show wonders in Heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: (20) The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of YAHWEH come: (21) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be saved. [Joel 2:28-32] … (37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles [not to the 120], Men and brethren, what shall we do? (38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of YAHshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy spirit. (39) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as YAHWEH our Elohim shall call. (40) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. … (46) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (47) Praising YAHWEH, and having favour with all the people. And YAHWEH added to the Assembly daily such as should be saved.Hallelu
YAH!!! Because of the outpouring of YAHWEH’S spirit on that Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest, the harvest of souls for the Kingdom of YAHWEH was on in a miraculous way! HalleluYAH!!!Special note:
John, the Baptizer, spoke of the souls to be harvested as "YAHshua’s Wheat" in this next scripture.Matthew 3 (11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He
[YAHshua] that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: (12) Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His Wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.Does one of
YAHWEH’S Mow’ed (appointments, Festival, appointed time or season) which are shadows of things to come foretell the end of that harvest that began on that particular Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest? It does! Let us proceed to the next one.Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets
Leviticus 23 (23) And
YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying, (24) Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a *Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets, a holy convocation. (25) Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH.*
It is very important to understand that the Hebrew words ("zikrown":H2146) & ("teruw'ah":H8643) that were translated as Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets" could also be translated as "Memorial of Clamor." The reader will understand why that is relevant shortly.According to the 3 lexicons that this author frequently uses, and very simply put, "
teru'ah" or "teruw'ah" is a clamor, or blast, especially a clangor of trumpets, acclamation of joy, war, or alarm, a loud noise but it can also be by shouting. Also, from the American Heritage Dictionary, one of the meanings of the word "clamor" is a loud sustained noise and this has much relevance.Strongs H8643.
teruw'ah, ter-oo-aw'; from H7321; clamor, i.e. acclamation of joy or a battle-cry; espec. clangor of trumpets, as an alarum:--NASC H8643.
teru'ah, [929d]; from H7321; a shout or blast of war, alarm, or joy:--Gesenius H8643 (
teru'ah) (1) prop. tumult, loud noise, specially-(a) joyful noise, rejoicing, Job 8:21. 1 Sa. 4:5; Ezra 3:11, 13, joyful acclamations with which the people receive the king, Num. 23:21.-(b) a warlike cry, cry for battle, Am. 1:14; Jer. 4:19; 49:2, to raise a war-cry, Josh. 6:5, 20. (2) the sound of a trumpet, Lev. 25:9. the first of the seventh month (afterwards the first), which was announced with sound of trumpet, Lev. 23:24; Num. 29:1-6. sacrifices offered with sound of trumpet, Ps. 27:6, compare Nu. 10:10; Ps. 89:16.A.H.D.
Clamor (kl²m"…r) n. 1. A loud outcry; a hubbub. 2. A vehement expression of discontent or protest: a clamor in the press for pollution control. 3. A LOUD SUSTAINED NOISE.The most common use of the trumpet was used for
calling the people together.Numbers 10 (1) And
YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying, (2) Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. The hidden agenda:
From the day that the holy Spirit of
YAHWEH was poured out on that special day of the Feast of Weeks, of the Firstfruits of Wheat Harvest that was mentioned in Acts two, there has been this calling together:Hebrews 12 (18) For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, (19) And the sound of a
trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (20) (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: (21) And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) (22) But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the City of the Living Elohim, the Heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, (23) To the general Assembly and Assembly of the Firstborn, which are written in Heaven, and to YAHWEH the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (24) And to YAHshua the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. This calling together of the
first-fruits of YAHshua’s "wheat harvest" most likely will end with the resurrection of the Saints on the Memorial of blowing of Trumpets at the trump of YAHWEH. Those that are YAHshua’s are to be raised from the dead at His coming.I Corinthians 15 (20) But now is
Messiah risen from the dead, and become the Firstfruits of them that slept. (21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. (23) But every man in his own order: Messiah the [first of the] Firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at His coming.Shaul (Paul) surely must have thought that the resurrection would occur during his lifetime, for he wrote the following in a letter to the congregation at Corinth.
I Corinthians 15 (51) Behold, I show you a
mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victoryShaul also wrote to the Congregation at Thessalonica concerning the resurrection. He just so happens to mention that this would happen at the
trump of YAHWEH.I Thessalonians. 4 (14) For if we believe that
YAHshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in YAHshua will YAHWEH bring with Him. (15) For this we say unto you by the Word of YAHWEH, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Sovereign shall not prevent them which are asleep. (16) For the Sovereign Himself shall descend from Heaven with a *shout, with the *voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YAHWEH: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Sovereign in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Sovereign.*
Here lies the relevance as to why that the Hebrew words ("zikrown":H2146) & ("teruw'ah":H8643) that were translated as Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets" could and maybe should be translated as "Memorial of Clamor." A clamor is made by shouting and voices, both of which can be used for a calling together, as an alarm, for joy, or for expressing anger just as it can be done with the blowing of trumpets. Also, when the seventh
trumpet of the seventh seal of Revelation 11:15 is blown, the Messiah will come.Revelation 11 (15) And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great
voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Elohim, and of HIS Messiah; and He shall reign for ever and ever. Can anyone doubt that when these things occur that there will be a
teru'ah (clamor or a loud sustained noise) from Heaven with the trump of YAHWEH and the shout, with the voice of the archangel?Just as those who are prepared will participate in that
teru'ah (clamor) at the resurrection with praise and joy, so shall there be a clamor of terror with weeping and gnashing of teeth from those who are not prepared. This is alluded to in the following scripture.Matthew 22 (1) And
YAHshua answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, (2) The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, (3) And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. … (12) And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (13) Then said the King to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (14) For many are called, but few are chosen. The next
mow’ed to consider is the Day of Atonement. The
Day of AtonementLeviticus 23 (26) And
YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying, (27) Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a Day of Atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH. (28) And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a Day of Atonement, to make an atonement for you before YAHWEH your Elohim. In the sixteenth chapter of Leviticus, there is a very detailed account of the sacrifices and rituals that were carried out by the High Priest on the tenth day of the seventh month for the
deliverance and liberty of Israel from their sins year by year.Tied in with
The Day of Atonement is another scripture of great importance concerning deliverance, liberty, and restoration (very closely tied in with deliverance & liberty). It is:Leviticus 25
(8) And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. (9) Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. (10) And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. (11) A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. (12) For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. (13) In the Year of this Jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession. The hidden agenda:
Everything, including what was done on the
Year of Jubilee that was done on The Day of Atonement, was only an example or a shadow of what was to take place concerning YAHshua (YAH’S Salvation) the ultimate sacrifice and the ultimate High Priest providing deliverance (salvation) and liberty (freedom) to YAHWEH’s People Israel and to the whole world.Hebrews 8 (I) Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a
High Priest, Who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens [Psa 110:1]; (2) A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which YAHWEH pitched, and not man. (3) For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. (4) For if He were on earth, He should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: (5) Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of YAHWEH when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith HE, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount [Exo. 25:40]. (6) But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better Covenant, which was established upon better promises.Hebrews 9 (I) Then verily the first Covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. … (6) Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of
YAHWEH. (7) But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which He offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: (8) The Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: (9) Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; (10) Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (11) But Messiah being come a High Priest of good *things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; (12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His Own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (13) For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: (14) How much more shall the blood of Messiah, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to YAHWEH, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living Elohim? (15) And for this cause He is the Mediator of the New Testament [Covenant Jer 31:31], that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (17) For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. (18) Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. (19) For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, (20) Saying, This is the blood of the testament which YAHWEH hath enjoined unto you [Exo. 24:8]. (21) Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. (22) And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (23) It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. (24) For Messiah is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of YAHWEH for us: (25) Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; (26) For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (28) So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.*
Colossians 2 (16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or of the New Moon, or of the Sabbath days: (17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Messiah. With the above scriptures in mind it appears that ten days following
YAHshua’s advent on the Memorial of Clamor (Feast of Trumpets) that on The Day of Atonement, YAHWEH, through YAHshua, just might bring the greater portion of Israel fully under the New Covenant. It also appears that He just might at that time fully restore them to all the land that was promised to their forefathers. In the opinion of this author, YAHshua’s coming and this restoration will surely will take place during a Year of Jubilee. What a year of restoration, deliverance (salvation) and liberty (freedom) and that will be! HalleluYAH!!!The next annual
mow'ed (appointed time & season) after the Day of Atonement is the Feast of Tabernacles.Leviticus 23
(34) Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast (festival [chag-H2282]) of Tabernacles for seven days unto YAHWEH. (35) On the first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. (36) Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH: on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. (37) These are the feasts [appointments] of YAHWEH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day: (38) Beside the Sabbaths of YAHWEH, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto YAHWEH. (39) Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast (festival [chag-H2282]) unto YAHWEH seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath. (40) And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before YAHWEH your Elohim seven days. (41) And ye shall keep it a feast (festival [chag-H2282]) unto YAHWEH seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. (42) Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: (43) That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am YAHWEH your Elohim. (44) And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts [appointments] of YAHWEH.The most obvious message to the carnally minded Israelites was that it was an after the harvest festival when the last crops of the agriculture year were harvested. It was a time to celebrate and to give thanks to
YAHWEH Who brings forth the increase of the land as well as the increase of their livestock. With the harvest completed, there was opportune time for weddings. The hidden agenda:
The following scenario is offered as the object of the
shadow (Feast of Tabernacles) of things to come. The marriage celebration of the Groom (YAHshua) and the Bride (the Set-apart Assembly) and their joint rulership for one thousand years.Revelations 19 (6) And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the
YAHWEH Elohim omnipotent reigneth. (7) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the Marriage of the Lamb is come, and His Wife hath made herself ready. (8) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. (9) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of YAHWEH.Revelations 20 (I) And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
What a
deliverance and freedom it will be for mankind during that one thousand year reign of YAHshua and the Set-apart Assembly! YAHshua, the Bridegroom, His Bride the resurrected Set-apart Assembly, and their guest, all mankind who are still living at that time, will enjoy the longest and grandest celebration ever known to mankind! HalleluYAH!!!The Great Last Day
This annual
mow'ed (appointed time & season) following the Feast of Tabernacles is actually like an extended day of the Feast of Tabernacles as can be seen in the following scripture.Leviticus 23 (39) Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a
feast (festival [chag-H2282]) unto YAHWEH seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath. This special day is only mentioned once in the New Testament Scriptures.
John 7 (I) After these things
YAHshua walked in Galilee: for He would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill Him. (2) Now the Jews' (YAHWEH - Leviticus 23:1-4) Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. … (37) In the Last Day, that Great Day of the Feast, YAHshua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. (38) He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow Rivers of Living Water. The hidden agenda:
At the end of the one thousand year reign by
YAHshua and the Set-apart Assembly, what is generally called the "Great White Throne Judgment" takes place.Revelation 20 (7) And when the thousand years are expired,
satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog [Ezek. 38:2], to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from YAHWEH out of Heaven, and devoured them. (10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (11) And I saw a Great White Throne, and HIM that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before YAHWEH; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (15) And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. When that judgment is over, those who are not written in the
Book of Life received death for all eternity because the wages of sin is death. (Incidentally, death is NOT sizzling and popping in unbearable pain for ever!) On the other hand, those whose names are written in the Book of Life receive Eternal Life through YAHshua Messiah our Sovereign!Romans 6 (23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
YAHWEH is Eternal Life through YAHshua Messiah our Sovereign. Conclusion: The Hidden Agenda in Luke 4:16-21 is the complete process that leads to the ultimate
restoration with permanent deliverance and liberty for mankind. Mankind can only arrive at that pinnacle of utopia through YAHshua Messiah our Sovereign.. That utopia will happen when YAHWEH, YAHshua, and the New Jerusalem come down out of Heaven for all eternity! HalleluYAH!!!Revelation 21 (I) And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth
[Isa. 65:17; 66:22]: for the first Heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (2) And I John saw the Set-apart City, New Jerusalem, coming down from YAHWEH out of Heaven, prepared as a Bride adorned for her Husband. (3) And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of YAHWEH is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS People, and YAHWEH Himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim [Lev. 26:11-12; II Chron. 6:18; Isa. 7:14, 8:8, 10; Jer. 31:33; Ezek. 37:27]. (4) And YAHWEH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (5) And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (6) And HE said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the *Water of Life freely. (7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his Elohim, and he shall be MY son. (8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.Revelation 22 (I) And he showed me a pure river of
*Water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb. (2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb shall be in it; and HIS servants shall serve HIM: (4) And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads. (5) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for YAHWEH Elohim giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.*
Is this not the same thing that YAHshua said on the Last Great Day?John 7 (37) In the
Last Day, that Great Day of the Feast, YAHshua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. (38) He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow Rivers of Living Water.Hallelu
