Are you a minister, or do you desire to be one? Do you understand the tremendous responsibility that is to be lain on the shoulders of those who desire to feed the flock of Yahweh? It would behoove you to read this treatise and take special warning.

Isa 56:8  The Master YHWH which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Isa 56:9  All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

Isa 56:10  His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

Isa 56:11  Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.  

Who are these dumb, greedy dogs? We are told in these verses that they are the watchmen of the outcasts of Israel. The "outcasts of Israel" is a term that is used to describe the 10 tribes of the Northern kingdom of Israel that have been scattered throughout the world. These verses also tell us they are Israel’s shepherds who are supposed to look after and care for the flock. They are the pastors, preachers and ministers who teach a false gospel. They are shepherds of no understanding, nor a love for the truth, to be able to warn the sheep when danger is near. They are literally asleep at the helm.

The term "dogs" or "kelabim" is not a flattering one according to scripture. It is also a Hebrew euphemism for a homosexual male temple prostitute, so called because of their preferred method of copulation.

Deu 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

Deu 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of YHWH thy Elohim for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto YHWH thy Elohim.

The Hebrew word for the female temple prostitute is "q’dashah" and that of the male temple prostitute is "q’desh". Many will recognize these words relate to the Hebrew word "Qadash" which means to be "set apart". They were set apart for heathen worship rituals in pagan temples. They were set apart to Satan, not Yahweh. The male prostitutes of this time were likely worshippers of Ashtarte and had emasculated themselves just for that purpose. They donated their earnings to the temple of the gods they worshipped. This was the price of a dog mentioned in verse 18 above. Israel was not to do as the pagans did as this act was an abomination to Yahweh. "To’ebah" (abomination) is the strongest word in Hebrew to indicate an absolute abhorrence or hatred of anything.

If we put these passages of scripture from Deuteronomy and Isaiah together, we see they are equating the dog, a male temple prostitute, with the blind watchmen of Israel, who are their pastors or shepherds. These shepherds also believe they are "qadash" or set apart for a special calling. Most will say they were called of "God" to preach the gospel, not understanding that they are preaching a false gospel.

Their main concern is for their own bellies. They have forsaken the right way and have gone astray following the way of Balaam who loved the wages of unrighteousness. Many of them preach a prosperity gospel in which the only ones to actually proper are themselves by fleecing the sheep.

Peter warned of them in 2 Peter 2:1-2:

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Master that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

There will be false teachers among us preaching damnable heresies, even "contradicting" the Master that brought them. The Greek word translated "denying" is arneomai and should have been translated "contradicting". How do they contradict our Master? They say the law was abolished at the crucifixion stake whereas Yahshua said in Matt. 5:18 that it would stand as long as heaven and earth remained. Preaching that the law is done away is a damnable heresy as it leads the sheep to disobey Yahweh.

2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

They profit from this false gospel with their books and tapes. Billions of dollars are made on these pseudo messages that bring a false hope and comfort to the sheep. Their damnation will not sleep even though they like to.

Jud 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Korah (Core) led the rebellion against Moses and Aaron. He wanted to do things his way and not the way Yahweh had declared.

Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jud 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Yahweh sees them no different than the male temple prostitutes who prostitute themselves for hire in preaching a false Torahless gospel.

Jeremiah spoke of these false pastors:

Jer 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith YHWH.

Jer 23:2 Therefore thus saith YHWH Elohim of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith YHWH.

Jer 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

Jer 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith YHWH.

Yahweh will gather His sheep from the nations where He has scattered them. This is to be done at the return of Yahshua, our great shepherd. He will give us shepherds after his own heart. He is even now restoring shepherds who will properly feed His sheep, who preach the whole counsel of scripture and rightly divide the word of truth.

Jer 50:4 In those days, and in that time, saith YHWH, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek YHWH their Elohim.

"In those days and in that time" is a phrase meaning at the return of Yahshua and the beginning of the millennial kingdom. The children of Israel and Judah will realize they have been lied to by their pastors and teachers.

Jer 16:19 O YHWH, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Jer 16:20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

We have many false gods that we and our fathers have created.

Jer 16:21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is YHWH.

They will then understand that Yahweh’s name is NOT the "Lord".

Jer 50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to YHWH in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

This is the covenant that is to be written upon our hearts as per Jer. 31:31 and Heb. 8:8.

Jer 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

They go from Church to Church seeking someone to tell them the truth. They realize deep down that something is missing.

Jer 50:7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against YHWH, the habitation of justice, even YHWH, the hope of their fathers.

All the beasts of the field came to devour them. (Isa. 56:8) Are these the brute beasts spoken of in Jude chapter 1 and 2 Peter 2. They follow after the error of Balaam, which is to be Torahless. They have forsaken the way. They are ministers for hire. They are dogs who return to their own vomit. (2 Pet.2:22)

Eze 34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Master YHWH unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Eze 34:3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

Eze 34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

Eze 34:5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

Eze 34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

Eze 34:7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of YHWH;

Eze 34:8 As I live, saith the Master YHWH, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

Eze 34:9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of YHWH;

Eze 34:10 Thus saith the Master YHWH; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

These false shepherds and pastors will be held accountable for how they tended His sheep. They will be judged according to what they did or did not teach.

Eze 34:11 For thus saith the Master YHWH; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

Eze 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

Eze 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

Eze 34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

Eze 34:15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Master YHWH.

Eze 34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

Yahweh Himself will seek out His sheep from everywhere they have been scattered and bring them back to the land of Israel to the heritages He had given to them for an everlasting possession. Yahshua said "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." His mission was to seek out and save that which was lost.

Eze 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Eze 34:24 And I YHWH will be their Elohim, and my servant David a prince among them; I YHWH have spoken it.

Eze 34:25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

The law will be written upon their hearts and the false pastors will be eliminated. They will no longer have to worry about being taught a false gospel message.

Eze 34:26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

Eze 34:27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am YHWH, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

They are the false pastors who fleeced the sheep for their personal gain.

Eze 34:28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

The beasts of the field (the false prophet, pastor, shepherd or teacher) will no longer devour them.

Eze 34:29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

Eze 34:30 Thus shall they know that I YHWH their Elohim am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith YHWH Elohim.

Eze 34:31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your Elohim, saith YHWH.

Yahshua told us how we could identify the false shepherds and prophets.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

They will look like the sheep.

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Their fruit is a false gospel that denies that the law is still in effect. They lead men away from the truth. They teach that the Sabbath and the Feasts of Yahweh are no longer required to be observed. They teach a gospel that has been syncretized with paganism. They teach a different gospel that would not be recognized by the early first century believers.

What is to become of these false shepherds, pastors and teachers that Yahweh equates with temple prostitutes or dogs? This should be a warning to all of those who aspire to be teachers of the gospel. We will receive the greater judgment if we teach error.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The word translated "iniquity" is the Greek word "anomia" which means a violation of the law or Torah. They are the teachers of a Torahless gospel, which is no gospel at all. They will profess that they built big crystal cathedrals, mega churches, gave to charities, wrote many books and articles and even held services on Wednesday night, all in his name. Of course, this is also false as they don’t even use his true name. They did all of these wonderful things, yet they lacked one thing. They did not preach the true gospel. They did not feed the sheep that were entrusted to them. They did not even teach the true definition of sin.

1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Sin is the transgression of the Torah. The dumb, greedy dogs have become temple prostitutes of a false gospel.

The number seven is an extremely important number to understand. Hopefully, this treatise will be a powerful witness, not only for the body of the Messiah, but for those who do not embrace Him in the spirit of truth in today’s world.

 The first two verses of Holy Scripture read thusly, “In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters,” Gen. 1:1-2.

  There is something peculiar about the way the Hebrew Scriptures read in verse one because there is a Hebrew word that the translators didn’t know how to interpret, therefore they just left the word out. The Hebrew would read thusly, Bereshiyht bara Elohim ET ha-shemayim ve ET ha-erets. Translating in the English word for word; Bereshiyth (In the beginning) bara (created) Elohim (the English translates this as God) ET (no translation) ha-shemayim (the heavens) ve (and) ET (no translation) ha-erets (the earth).

  Notice that the ET is not translated. The Hebrew characters for ET are the first and last letters of the Hebrew language the aleph (a) and the tau (t). Various Jewish books written about the Hebrew alphabet declare that when the aleph and tau (at) are utilized before a certain noun, it means that whatever they precede is perfect from aleph (a) to tau (t). Thus, the use of the aleph and tau in this manner would be similar to an Englishman saying something is perfect or complete from A to Z.

  In verse two we read, “And the earth was without form and void. Interestingly, this same Hebrew word translated here as “was” is translated elsewhere as “became.” For instance, in the chapter describing the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot’s deliverance out of it, Gen. 19:26 reads, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”

  The Prophet Isaiah is inspired to proclaim, “For thus saith Yahweh that created the heavens; Elohim himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am Yahweh; and there is none else,” 45:18.

  “Vain” is translated from the Hebrew word tohuw. This is the same Hebrew word that is translated as “without form” in Gen. 1:2. Tohuw is defined as; to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), i.e. desert; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). Yahweh says that He didn’t create the earth in this state, it became that way.

 THE REBELLION

   The Prophet Ezekiel is inspired to write, “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of Elohim; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of Elohim; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of Elohim: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more,” 28:12-19.

  Let’s see if we can figure out who this being is. Notice that he was in Eden, the garden of Elohim. Only four living beings are revealed to have been in that garden. They are Yahweh, Adam, Eve and the serpent. Notice that it says that this being was created and is covered with precious stones. Adam and Eve were created, but they were naked (Gen. 2:25). Besides, by the time of Ezekiel Adam and Eve had been dead for quite some time, probably two thousand years or more.

  We know that it isn’t Yahweh; He is the One inspiring the Scriptures to be written. The only other entity that this can be speaking of is the serpent revealed in the book of Revelation to be that old serpent called the devil and Satan that deceives the whole world (Rev. 12:9). It was the serpent who began the deception of mankind in the first place (Gen. 3).

  The Prophet Isaiah is inspired to write, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of El: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, ‘Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?’ All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet,” 14:12-19.

  Lucifer, of course, is another term for Satan the Devil. It is a Latin name meaning “light bringer.” The original Hebrew word for Lucifer is heylel. It is defined as; (in the sense of brightness); the morning-star. It comes from another Hebrew word halal, which is defined as; a primitive root; to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify.

  Notice that in Ezekiel 28:17 this being’s heart was lifted up because of his beauty. Because of his desire to exalt himself, he sought to exalt himself over his own Creator Yahweh.

  He was in the mountain of Elohim which means Yahweh had placed him in his government. He was made a covering cherub. (Ez. 28:14). Many think that he was one of the cherubs that covered the throne of Yahweh in heaven, but this is a mistake. Why would he have had to ascend into heaven to exalt himself above the throne of Elohim if this is the case? (Isa. 14:14)

  Jude writes, “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day,” v. 6.

  Peter writes, “For if Yahweh spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment,” 2 Pet. 2:4.

  Yahshua told His disciples that he had beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven (Lk. 10:18). When had this event taken place? This had to have occurred at the time when the earth came to desolation and destruction!

 THE ASTEROIDS

   The scientists continually speak of craters found all over the earth due to its having been struck by huge comets or asteroids. They continually speak of the dinosaur age having come to an end due to these great impacts. Dinosaur means terrible or dreadful lizard. A lizard is a reptile. Very large lizards are called monsters and dragons. Serpents are reptiles. Satan is called both a serpent and a dragon. He had to have been the covering cherub over the earth in the mountain of Elohim during the reign of the reptiles and serpents, the world of the dinosaur.

  Furthermore, the word “asteroid” means “star-like.” Satan is not only referred to in Isaiah as the “shining star of the dawn”, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Isa. 14:12 (son of the morning can be translated as morning star or shining star of the dawn), but he is able to present himself as an angel of light, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light,” 2 Cor. 11:14.

  Yahweh is described as a Rock, “Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name Yahweh: ascribe ye greatness unto our Elohim. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: an Elohim of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he,” Dt. 32:1-4.

  Furthermore, the deities of the nations are also called “rocks” in this same chapter, “For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps,” vv. 31-33.

  Their wine would be their teachings. Those teachings are nothing more than falsehoods, which lead to death and destruction. Lies kill. Yahshua told the people of his day, “If Yahweh were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from Yahweh; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it,” Jn. 8:42-44.

  It was that old serpent Satan the devil who lied to mother Eve, deceiving her to take of the poisoned fruit and eat causing death to come upon her, her husband and her posterity, which includes you and me.

  The point is that Satan is a deity with great powers given to him by Yahweh when he created him. He and his demonic angels with their poisoned lies and false worship are likened to rocks. When they left their former habitation to ascend into heaven seeking to exalt themselves and especially Satan over the throne of Yahweh, they were cast back down to the earth, like asteroids, bringing chaos, darkness and destruction to it.

 CREATION AND REST

   We don’t know how long the earth remained in its state of waste and emptiness, but we do know that Yahweh recreated it in six days bringing man forth to rule over it in the sixth day (Gen. 1).

  While Yahweh finished the physical creation in six days He wasn’t finished with it all until He rested on the seventh day, “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made,” Gen. 2:1-2.

  Furthermore, verse three continues, “And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made.”

  Let’s notice what is now associated with this seventh day. The first thing associated with it is rest. The Hebrew word for “rest” is sabath (tbv/tbc). It is defined as; a primitive root; to repose, i.e. desist from exertion; used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific).

  Yahweh also blessed this seventh day of rest (sabath). The Hebrew word for “blessed” is barak. It is defined as; a primitive root; to kneel; by implication to bless Elohim (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit).

  Do you get that? He rested on the seventh day and then blessed it so that it could be utilized as a day to worship or adore the Creator Yahweh, which if a man will do so, he surely will also be blessed and benefited.

  Yahweh also “sanctified” the seventh day. “Sanctified” comes from the Hebrew word qadash, which is defined as; a primitive root; to be (causatively, make, pronounce or observe as) clean (ceremonially or morally).

  Through the observance of this day we can become ceremonially and morally clean. Thus, what we find is that in the beginning, the seventh day became associated with rest/Sabbath, blessing, and sanctification or holiness.

 THE COMMANDMENT

   When Yahweh gave the commandments to Israel, He included the seventh day rest in them, “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahweh blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it,” Ex. 20:8-11.

  “Remember” is translated from the Hebrew word zakar. It is defined as; a primitive root; properly, to mark (so as to be recognized), i.e. to remember; by implication, to mention. Yahweh wanted Israel to mark, to memorialize, the seventh day Sabbath so that it would be easily recognized. In other words, they were to never forget it.

  Interestingly, in the account in Genesis Yahweh rested or sabathed on the seventh day. Now He gives it its name Sabbath. “Rested” comes from the Hebrew word sabath. It is #7673 in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and is defined as; a primitive root; to repose, i.e. desist from exertion; used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific).

  The word Sabbath or Shabbat comes from this root word. Sabbath is #7676 in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and is defined as; intensive from 7673; intermission, i.e (specifically) the Sabbath. “Intensive” means to increase or cause to increase in degree or amount (Webster’s New World Dictionary). We can understand this along the lines of hospital care. Someone who is in “intensive” care is given much more special attention than just a regular patient. Naming the day of rest (sabath) the Sabbath meant that more special care and attention was to be given to this day than the other days of the week.

  Exodus chapter thirty one reveals this more intensive aspect that was to be given to this day, “Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to Yahweh: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed,” vv. 15-17.

  Do you begin to understand how much more intensive care was to be given to it? Any who worked on this day was to be put to death! By the way, Paul says that the wages (penalty) of sin is death (Ro. 6:23). The definition of sin is found in 1 Jn. 3:4, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” In other words, Yahweh’s commandments, specifically the Ten Commandments are so vital and important to Him that for us to go contrary to His commandments is sin, which works death in us!

  Paul writes that even though we are saved by grace, we are still to uphold the commandments (Ro. 3:31). We are not supposed to go on sinning (transgressing the law), “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries,” Heb. 10:26-27.

  Israel was to “observe” the Sabbath. “Observe” is translated from shamar which is defined as; a primitive root; properly, to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; generally, to protect, attend to, etc.

  Notice that! It was to be hedged about as with thorns! People who live in African hamlets would understand what is meant here. They hedge their hamlets about with thorns in order to keep the wild animals, especially lions, outside at night. No one wants to go through a hedge of thorns. Those who are protected inside won’t go near the hedge because if they do they will be pierced by the sharp thorns. Protection is to stay within, inside the hedge. Many dangers lurk outside that hedge! Observing the seventh day Sabbath according to the command establishes a special relationship with our Creator Yahweh. It provides blessings, benefits, morality, and ceremonial cleanness and purity. Failure to “observe” the Sabbath day to Yahweh pierces us with thorns! To go outside that protective hedge brings death!

 MORE SABBATH REVELATIONS

   One of the most important things to also understand about Exodus 31:15-17 is that the Sabbath was given to Israel as a “sign.” The Hebrew for “sign” is owth. It is the same word that was utilized on day four of creation when Yahweh brought the sun, moon and stars forth for “signs” (Gen. 1:14-15). Since the seven day week was begun before the sun, moon and stars were established for their “signs,” then there is no way that the moon can have any effect concerning the seven day weekly cycles as some claim. In other words, the lunar cycles cannot determine the seventh day Sabbath because the week that produced the original Sabbath sign was not determined by the moon, since that week was already in progress before the moon was brought forth.

  In verse 13 of Exodus chapter thirty one, Yahweh reveals that the Sabbath was given as a “sign” to Israel so that they would know that Yahweh was the Elohim who sanctifies them. This seven day Sabbath cycle was given to them as a “perpetual covenant!” Therefore we begin to see that the Sabbath has to do with Yahweh’s covenant. (More about this shortly.)

  Another interesting observation is found in verse 17 of this same chapter, “It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

  It says that He was “refreshed!” Refreshed comes form the Hebrew word naphash. It is defined as; a primitive root; to breathe; passively, to be breathed upon, i.e. (figuratively) refreshed (as if by a current of air).

  This brings up another interesting concept. To keep the Sabbath rest is like a breath of fresh air, but more than that; Adam, the father of mankind was made a living soul. (Gen. 2:7) The Hebrew word for “soul” is nephesh! Look at the play on words naphash and nephesh. To keep Yahweh’s seventh day Sabbath as a memorial to His great creative powers will help cause us to breathe in a different spirit than the spirit of the world. Of course we only receive the Spirit of Yahweh through Yahshua the Messiah (Who is truly our rest), but the seventh day Sabbath was given as a sign for us to know Yahweh Who sanctifies us. If we truly know Him then we will repent of our own works and rebellions and turn to serve Him by observing and treasuring His commands! We will become a soul (nephesh) who receives the spirit of refreshing (naphash).

  The Hebrew term for Sabbath is tbv/tbc. Since the letters are also hieroglyphics, we can also get another special message from them. The shin c is an hieroglyphic for teeth or to consume. The beit b is an hieroglyphic for house or tent. The tau t is an hieroglyphic for mark or name. Thus, we get the message that the Sabbath is a special time to have a meal in the house of the name. Whose house? Yahweh’s, of course.

 Can a blind man see? A logical, linear, secular, western mind-set, i.e. a Greek trained thinker, will automatically say “NO.” This man relies totally on his five senses to “see,” “hear,” “touch,” “taste,” and “smell.” Could Shaul (Paul) “see” after he was blinded on the road to Damascus? Because Shaul was a Pharisee, a Hebrew of Hebrews, he absolutely knew about the Messiah in the Scriptures. But he did not personally KNOW the Messiah of the Scriptures! He needed a three (3) day seminar with Yahshua and during his three days of blindness – NOT SEEING, he “saw” and “heard” Yahshua. After he “saw” and “heard,” what did he preach? “Immediately he preached the Messiah in the synagogues, that he is the Son of Elohim…proving that this is the Messiah.” (Acts 9:20 and 22) Even though Shaul’s physical eyes and natural mind were blinded, his spiritual mind and eyes could still “SEE.” How? By the power of Yahweh…the Spirit of Truth…Ruach HaKodesh. Shaul later told the Corinthians, “…the natural man receiveth not the thing of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14)

  What did Elisha’s servant “see” in II Kings 6:15-17? At first…only the armies of the enemy. Then…Yahweh opened the eyes of the young man, and he “saw.” “…and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around about Elisha.” The army of Yahweh was greater…and more powerful…and just as real…as the physical armies! But it was revealed by the Spirit of Yahweh. So how do we “see?” By the work and will of Yahweh. We can only “see” correctly and more completely IF the Spirit shows us! Here is a point to meditate on: The Spirit of Yahweh is not a gift FROM Yahweh. That is to say, it is not a duplicate or copy OF the Spirit. It is the Spirit OF Yahweh…and the very same Spirit is placed within us to reveal the One True Elohim…and Who He is…and not just what He can do!

  Previously the nation of Israel had been looking to see the Messiah come. But…”Seeing they did not See!” Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel all foretold this phenomena. For almost 1500 years thy had heard about the Messiah in the Torah, through Moses, in the Psalms, and through the words of the prophets. So why couldn’t they “see?”

  Seeing with our natural eyes does not necessarily reveal the truth. While the physical realm is tangible, it is temporary, but the spirit realm of Yahweh is eternal. (See: II Cor. 4:18) Remember that “Truth” is eternal…and eternal truth affects but cannot be affected. [Trivia: To “affect” is to influence. To “effect” is to cause] Yahshua said: “I am the Truth…” (Jn. 14:6) And we all desperately need to “see” the true Yahshua…but our natural eyes are not sufficient to get the job done! That is the same problem the Hebrews had. “Seeing” with their natural eyes and leaning on their own understanding, they tried to make Yahshua fit into their ideas of what and who He was; when they really needed to simply accept Him by faith regarding who and what He was! Just like we need to do today! So today we still find many people that “See…but do not See!”

  Yahshua’s message was very simple and direct. Repent, for the kingdom of Yahweh/kingdom of heaven is at hand. Two thousand years ago the people wanted that kingdom right now. That was not the plan. First the sinless sacrifice for the sins of the whole world – Messiah Ben Joseph, was needed to provide the remedy (payment) for mankind’s disobedience, unbelief, unrighteousness, wickedness, i.e. their sins. The kingdom of Yahweh is not going to be filled with sinners. It is a place prepared for those made righteous by a sovereign work of Yahweh as they “put on Messiah,” i.e. as they accept Him as Savior, Redeemer, and King! So Yahshua is the Way: the key to everything. And obedience to the instructions of Yahweh, the Torah, the Word of Yahweh, i.e. Yahshua is the only “Way.” A person can only see and understand the plan of Yahweh by looking into the “Author and Finisher,” the Aleph and the Tau, the beginning and the end…and OBEY HIM! And that means ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS/ TORAH, because the Torah is not a smorgasbord wherein we select what we “like” and ignore the rest!

  That is why Acts 5:32 is so critical to know and understand. The Spirit of Elohim, Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit…is only given to them that obey. Obey what? The true instructions of Yahweh. The instructions He revealed through righteous men as the Spirit gave them utterance…and NOT as men later (mis) translated some parts of Scripture to manipulate the masses. Yes…men have tampered with some of the true instructions! But that does not change the FACT that when you and I obey the instructions, revelation of the truth comes. When a person disobeys the true instructions…revelation stops! And “Seeing…They See Not!”

  Because of Israel’s collective disobedience, the prophet Isaiah told them Yahweh would “choose their delusions, and bring their fears upon them: because when I (Yahweh) called, none did answer; when I (Yahweh) spake, they did not hear.” Why? They did evil, that which was right in their natural eyes. They chose that in which Yahweh delighted not! (Isa. 66:4)

  The message and method is clear. “Seeing” into the Spirit realm; hearing, understanding and obeying the Spirit of Yahweh Elohim is just and important today as it was back then. “Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your heart…” (Heb. 3:7, 15; 4:7) Shaul told the Romans: “They that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (v6) For to be carnally [secular] minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (v14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of Yahweh, they are the sons [and daughters] of Yahweh.” (Ro. 8:5, 6, 14) Brethren…make no mistake, the Spirit of Yahweh Elohim is speaking today. Are you listening? Are you “seeing” the true Yahshua? Are you discerning the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error?

  We know that false apostles, deceitful workers, servants of HaSatan are in the world today. (II Cor. 11:13-14) We have been warned that they are teaching “another Yahshua,” “another spirit,” and “another good news.” II Cor. 11:4) So we cannot use ignorance as an excuse!

  Beloved brethren…obedience is the key to “Seeing!” Obedience brings blessing and peace (Dt. 28:1-14); disobedience brings cursing, punishment, and delusions (Dt. 28:15-62; II Thes. 2 :10-12) Your actions choose what you will receive…because obedience is a personal choice! And our life-style will reflect our choice.

  If I want to “See” and “Hear” and be healed, then I must utilize the only remedy: accept Yahshua and all that He did and taught. (Acts 1:1) I must diligently hide the Word of Yahweh in my heart, that I might not sin against Him. (David’s declaration in Psa 119:11) If you have done…and are doing this, you are already “Seeing!” But if you have not…then “Seeing You See Not!”

  Is this a hard saying? Well…sometimes hard-headed and stiff-necked people need hard lessons! I’ve had my share! Have you? Repentance, healing, and forgiveness can be yours if you humbly and sincerely turn away from sin. Yahshua REALLY is the Truth, the Way, and the Life. (Jn. 14:6) He has already done His part…and now He is waiting to see if you’ll do yours. May Yahweh truly open your eyes to “See” the true Yahshua. Amen.

 Accordingly the prophet Moses was shown the temple of Yahweh in heaven at mount Sinai, to which he was commanded to make the earthly one. If YAHWEH wants us to do things, as we would desire he would not have made known to Moses his Temple. The heavenly temple is the only pattern all the assemblies of YAHWEH are to fashion their beliefs and ministry after. For there is no other foundation beside the Holy one shown unto the man of YAHWEH. Please understand the Temple shown to Moses is the Religion of YAHWEH and the true worship that must be observed by all people who have found it. It is the glorious sanctuary service.

 Q1. When and where did YAHWEH establish his holy assembly, what covenant did the abba (Father) make with them? Acts 7:23-38, Nehemiah 9:13-14

 The assembly of YAHWEH was established at Mount Sinai when Yahweh and our fathers made the covenant that YAHWEH gave them; the Testimonies, even the Ten Commandments. He also gave them His sanctuary service and His dietary regulations. YAHWEH repeated the promise He gave to Adam, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to his established Religion.

 The everlasting covenant, the sanctuary service, the dietary law, and other social ordinances, make the members of the assembly of the Living YAHWEH very different throughout the dispensations.

 Q2 What is the sanctuary service and how is YAHWEH to be worshiped? (1 Chronicles 23:24-32; 2 chronicles 8:11-14)

 The sanctuary service is the way the almighty Yahweh is worshipped in heaven and on the earth. This was shown to Prophet Moses in the wilderness at Mount Sinai. YAHWEH directed that his created beings should worship him daily, on the Sabbaths, New Moons, during the Feast of Unleavened bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of tabernacles.

 Under the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed during the worshipping acts, but in the New Testament YAHWEH has made his son, YAHSHUA the MESSIAH the sacrificial Lamb to replace the numerous innocent beast sacrifice on the religious days. Read Psalm 50:1-5; 40:6-8; Hebrews 10:1-14. In Daniel 9:24 we are told of the everlasting righteousness which shall be established after the enthronement of YAHSHUA as the divine appointed High Priest, so that YASHUA shall become the righteousness of the assembly of the Living YAHWEH.

 Q3. Prophetically, how is the assembly of YAHWEH described? (Revelation 12:1-5, Psalm 89:33-37)

 The Beautiful and Glorious Woman is the representation of the assembly of the Living YAHWEH. This is the bride of YAHSHUA, which keepeth the Testimony of YAHWEH in all history of the assembly on earth.

 The sunny nature represents the everlasting righteousness of the bride of YAHSHUA. The moon also signifies the assembly’s firm foundation and faithful witness on earth before YAHWEH. The stars symbolize the Old and New Testament ministry, the prophetic and apostolic gifts.

 The pregnancy and the Man child represents the Messianic expectation of the Jews and that YAHSHUA the Messiah is the man child. The Great Red dragon is Satan and his chosen Gentile Kingdoms, which shall persecute the assembly of the Living Yahweh.

 Q4. What makes the Bride of YAHSHUA very different among the brides of Satan? (Deuteronomy 4:32-40; Isaiah 8:11-22)

 The bride of YAHSHUA MESSIAH is set apart, that her husband is the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea. He has given to his bride good and perfect statues, and that his bride is the Assembly that has his favour on earth and that He has prepared a glorious place for her.

 Among the nations on the earth are found the children of the Bride of YAHWEH; they are different because their Adonai is the Father of Israel. They are made especially different by the keeping of the Decalogue and the sanctuary service, and also the Clean and Unclean Dietary Law. They do not join the lawless children of Satan in all things. The bride is very wise and chooses the best of work (less in wages) and does so with the blessing of her Bridegroom. She is prepared free from sins of the present age.

 Q5. Who is the Head of the Assembly of the Living YAHWEH? (Acts 5:30-32; Matthew 16:13-19; Colossians 1:18)

 Our Savior YAHSHUA MESSIAH is the Head of the assembly of the Living YAHWEH. He died for the Assembly and purchased her salvation with his own Blood. Yahweh has therefore appointed Him the highest place in heaven and earth, that both heaven and earth should worship the Son, and that the Son shall also atone for the inhabitants of the earth and be glorified by the Angels of YAHWEH in heaven.

 In Ezekiel 34:22-23 YAHSHUA is called the Prince David, and by his inspiration the Assembly of YAHWEH is kept alive in the world. He is the Archangel Michael in Daniel 12:1-2, and the Glorious king of Kings and Adonai of Adonai’s in the book of Revelation. He defeated Satan and took from him the key of death and hell. Those who have seen him are blessed and shall find compassion in him.

 Q6. What special wages await the Children of the Woman in Revelation         12? (Revelation 3:7-13, 22:14; Isaiah 58:13-14)

 The message the Savior YAHSHUA the MESSAIH taught his followers in Matthew chapter 5:1-12 is the reward for following the Bridegroom. The kingdom of YAHWEH, the tree of life, and the thousand year Sabbath in the Holy court of Yahweh is the faithful promise the Father has made to his chosen Assembly on earth.

 They the members of the Bride shall gain victory over the image, the mark, the Name, and the Number of the Beast. YHWEH has promised to give them his protection in the last days, when the three unclean frogs shall be ruling the earth and persecuting those who worship the King of glory. YAHWEH Almighty the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob shall be the reward of the children of the Revelation 12 Assembly.
