NAMING
THE DAYS
Yahweh only named one day of the week, the seventh (shebiy'iy/shaba) day
sabbath (shabbath) rest (sabbaton). Man has given names to all days, even
renaming the sabbath. What does it mean?
We find the answer in the book of Job. After Job's friends arrived they
were so stunned at the grievousness of Job's suffering that they sat on the
ground for seven days and nights speaking not a word (Job 2:11-13).
Then Job breaks the silence by cursing the day of his birth (Job 3:1).
"And Job spake and said, 'Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the
night in which it was said, 'There is a man child conceived.' Let that day be
darkness; let not Eloah regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon
it. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it;
let the blackness
of
the day terrify it. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be
joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come there in. LET THEM
CURSE IT THAT CURSE THE DAY, WHO ARE READY TO RAISE UP THEIR MOURNING,'"
V.V. 2-8.
In order to understand what this scripture is really saying we must do a
little research for the true meaning isn't clear in the English.
Bullinger's
Companion Bible also has a
New Metrical Version at the bottom of each page. The Metrical version renders
verse 8 thusly; "Let those engaged in banning days curse this; Those ready
e'en to rouse Leviathan."
The
Interlinear Bible which
translates the English directly from Hebrew says; "Let curse it the curser
of the day, those ready to stir up Leviathan."
The interesting thing about this verse to begin with is the word
"curse." We do not get the
full sense of this verse in the English because our eyes read "curse"
twice and we think of only one word and one sense of it. But the Hebrew uses two
different words and, therefore, we get a different idea from each word.
The first Hebrew word for "curse" is "naqab." It
means; to puncture, lit. (to perforate, with more or less violence) or fig. (to
specify, designate, libel) and it generally translated:- appoint, blaspheme,
bore, curse, express, with holes, NAME, pierce, strike through.
The second Hebrew word for curse is "arar." It means; to
execrate, and is generally translated; bitterly curse.
Webster's
New World Dictionary says
"execrate" means to call down evil upon; curse; to speak abusively or
contemptuously or; denounce; to loathe, detest, abhor.
Now let's take some of these meanings and plug them into the Interlinear
and Metric renderings. Let's use the
words "name" or "blaspheme" for "naqab."
"Let name it the curser of the day, those ready to stir up
Leviathan," (Interlinear). "Let blaspheme it the curser of the day,
those ready to stir up Leviathan," (Interlinear).
"Let those engaged in naming days curse this; those ready e'en to
rouse Leviathan," (Metric).
"Let those engaged in blaspheming days curse this; those ready
e'en
to rouse Leviathan," (Metric).
Doing this not only gives a totally different view of what is being said,
but a clearer view. Yahweh only named one day, the seventh day. Man names every
day even changing the name of the 7th day. And what names does he name them
with? The names of paganistic deities, names of blasphemy!
The first day of the week is named "Sunday." It is the day of
the sun worshippers, the day set aside by man to worship the sun. In Latin it is
named "El Domingo" meaning the L-rd's day. Nowhere in all of scripture
is the first day of the week named or ever called Sunday or
"the L-rd's day!"
The second day of the week is named "Monday" in honor of the
Moon which also was worshipped in ancient pagan religion.
Man calls the third day "Tuesday" from the Norse deity "Tiu"
who is a deity of war. In Spanish or Latin it is "El Martes." The
equivalent Roman deity is "Mars."
The fourth day is "Wednesday" coming from the Norse deity
"Wodin" whose Roman equivalent was “Mercury." The fifth day is
"Thursday" coming from the Norse deity "Thor" whose Roman
and Greek equivalents were "Jupiter" and "Zeus." The sixth
day is "Friday" coming from the Norse deity "Freia"
equivalent to "Venus." The seventh day is "Saturday" coming
from "Saturn" the Greek equivalent being "Cronus."
LEVIATHAN
Job says that those who name the days raise up or stir up Leviathan. Who
is Leviathan? The answer is found in Isaiah, chapter 27,
"In that day Yahweh with His sore and great and strong sword shall punish
Leviathan the piercing serpent, even Leviathan that crooked serpent; and He
shall slay the dragon that is in the sea," v.v. 1.
A look into the Hebrew words for Leviathan, piercing, crooked, serpent
and dragon is quite revealing.
The Hebrew word for Leviathan is "livyathan." It means; a
wreathen animal, i.e. a serpent (espec. the crocodile or some other large
sea-monster); fig. the constellation of the dragon; also as a symbol of Babylon.
As we have found it is generally translated into the English as Leviathan
or mourning.
Livyathan is a two word combination. It comes from the Hebrew words
"lavah" and "than" or "tan." Lavah means; to
twine, i.e. (by impl.) to unite, to remain; also to borrow (as a form of
obligation) or (caus.) to lend, and is generally translated as; abide with,
borrow (-er), cleave, join (self), lend (-er).
It is the same root word from whence comes "Levi" or
"Levite" the son of Jacob and his descendants.
Than or tan means; to elongate; a monster (as preter-naturally formed),
i.e. a sea-serpent (or other huge marine animal); also a jackal (or other
hideous land animal) and is generally translated:- dragon, whale.
"Piercing" is from the Hebrew word "bariyach." It
means; a fugitive, i.e. the serpent (as fleeing), and the constellation by that
name. It is generally translated:-crooked, noble, piercing. "Bariyach"
comes from the primitive root word "barach" which means; to bolt, i.e.
fig. to flee suddenly, and is generally translated:- chase (away); drive away,
fain, flee (away), put to flight, make haste, reach, run away, shoot.
"Crooked" is the Hebrew word "awallathown." It means;
tortuous, crooked. It comes from the primitive root word "aqal" which
means; to wrest, wrong.
"Serpent" is the Hebrew word "nachash" which means; a
serpent (from its hiss). It comes from the primitive root word which is also
"nachash" meaning; to hiss, i.e. whisper a (magic) spell; gen. to
prognosticate, and is generally translated:-divine, enchanter, (use) x enchant-ment,
learn by experience, diligently observe.
Before we look at the word "dragon" let's do some review. The
verse preceding Isa. 27:1 said, "For behold, Yahweh cometh out of His place
to punish the inhabitants of the earth FOR THEIR INIQUITY: the earth also shall
disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain," Isa. 26:21.
In the day that Yahweh comes to punish people for their sins He will also
punish the piercing, crooked serpent, Leviathan.
Where did man's iniquity begin? Wasn't it in Eden? Who was instrumental
in beginning man's iniquity? Wasn't
it the serpent (nachash) that lied, deceiving Eve into breaking Yahweh's command
concerning the forbidden fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?
(Gen. 3:1-5).
Isa. 27:1 is an expansion, a magnification of the serpent (nachash) who
was in the garden of Eden. He was a preternaturally (supernaturally) formed
being (than), a tortuous being who wrongly wrests (aqallathown) Yahweh's word in
order to unite (lavah) the earth's inhabitants to sinful, lawless idol worship.
The book of Revelation, chapter 12 expands on Job 3:8 and Isa. 26:21;
27:1, "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold, a GREAT RED
DRAGON, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And
his tail drew a third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the
earth: and the DRAGON stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered,
for to devour her child as soon as it was born....and there was war in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought against the DRAGON; and the DRAGON fought and his
angels, and prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. And
the GREAT DRAGON was cast out, that old SERPENT, called the DEVIL and SATAN,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him," v.v. 3-4, 7-9.
Satan, the serpent, the devil, the great dragon (leviathan) which was
supernaturally formed, began deceiving man in the garden of Eden and continues
to deceive man today. He wrests Yahweh's word into false paganistic,
heathenistic, idolatrous worship, and man, being deceived, worships him and his
angels which raises, exalts him into heavenly places. As Job reveals, man names
the days, all after paganistic deities, and raises leviathan which, of course,
brings on mourning for the earth's inhabitants will be punished for their
iniquities.
Yahweh will punish Satan, leviathan. First, he and his angels will be
cast out of heaven and, when Yahweh comes, he will be cast into the bottomless
pit or abyss (Rev. 20:1-3). He who was glorified, praised and worshipped, having
been exalted into heavenly places will not only be cast down into earth but into
a bottomless pit, an abyss, in other words, obscurity, ignominy.
SATAN’S
TACTICS
What does the piercing or fleeing serpent mean? Herein is a tactic of
Satan who stirs up rebellion, insurrection, sedition, leading his many followers
into such until faced with the true authority, wrath, and punishment from which
he suddenly flees. James says, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you," chapter 4:7. How do we resist? By submitting ourselves to Yahweh
(same verse).
Such is the tactic of insurrection today when agents, messengers
(angels), men are sent into a country to stir up rebellion, insurrection,
sedition, etc. against an incumbent government. The people are stirred up in
anger through true, false and twisted reports until confrontation with
government forces. When the confrontation begins and lives are taken where are
the agents who stirred it all up? They
have fled to safety so that when things settle down they can return to stir
things up again. Such tactics have been quite successful in the overthrow of
governments and moral values or principles. These are Satan's tactics.
The word "Satan" is itself a Hebrew word meaning; to attack,
(fig.) accuse, adversary, resist, withstand. It is supposed to be a primitive
root word according to Strong's
Concordance, but I believe
that "Satan" is a combination of two words "set" pronounced
"sayte" and "tan."
"Set" means; departure from right, i.e. sin, and is generally
translated:- revolter, that turn aside. It comes from the primitive root word
"suwt" which means; to detrude, i.e. (intrans. and fig.) become
derelict (wrong-fully practice; namely idolatry) and is generally translated:-
turn aside to.
Yahweh says of the king of tyrus, "Thou sealest up the sum, full of
wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of Elohim
(NOTE: only four beings are recorded as having been in Eden, Adam and Eve who
are both dead by the time this scripture is written, Yahweh, but He is the One
inspiring the scripture and the serpent. The serpent is Satan who is this king
of Tyrus): every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the
diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald and the
carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was
prepared in thee in the day that thou was created (preternaturally or
supernaturally formed). Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have
set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of Elohim; thou hast walked up and
down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the
day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of
thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast
sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of Elohim: and
I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom
by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee
before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by
the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore
will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I
will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold
thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou
shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more,’” Ez. 28:12-19.
Here is one who was supernaturally formed, created by Yahweh. He was
perfect and beautiful in every way. He was a ruler in Yahweh's mountain, His
government, His kingdom, but he became derelict in his duty. He turned aside or
away from Yahweh's righteousness, His holiness. He looked away from Yahweh to
his own beauty. He began to trust in himself, exalt his own beauty and wisdom.
Being in Yahweh's government meant that he would have subjects under his
control. He began to cause them to worship himself instead of Yahweh. He was
subtle, deceitful. He twisted, wrested Yahweh's ways into sin, lawlessness,
violence, misery, destruction, death.
THE
COVERING CHERUB
Let's get one thing straight now that we are on the subject. Many have
falsely proclaimed that Satan was one of the Cherubim that covered Yahweh's
throne. Such is what Satan would
like for people to think and has deceived people into thinking so but this
simply is not true.
Yahshua said, "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall THE
PRINCE OF THIS WORLD be cast out," Jn. 12:31.
The Greek word for "prince" is "archon."
It means; first (in rank or power), chief (ruler), magistrate, prince,
ruler. It comes from the Greek word "archo" which means; to be first
(in political rank or power), reign (rule) over. Let us keep in mind that the
Hebrew word for prince which is equivalent to "archon" is "sar."
Yahshua said in another place, "Hereafter I will not talk much with
you: for THE PRINCE (ARCHON) OF THIS WORLD cometh, and hath nothing in Me,"
Jn. 14:30.
He also said, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient
for you that I go away: for if I go not away,
the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart,
I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, he will
reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin,
because they believe not on Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and
ye see Me no more; of judgment, because THE PRINCE (ARCHON) OF THIS WORLD is
judged," Jn. 16:7-11.
Paul adds, "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses
and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to THE PRINCE (ARCHON) OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, the spirit that now
worketh in THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE: among whom also WE ALL HAVE OUR CONDUCT
in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and
of the mind; and were nature the children of wrath, even as others," Eph.
2:1-3.
Satan is the prince, chief, first in political rank or power, magistrate,
ruler of this world. The ruler of those who disobey Yahweh's laws by fulfilling
the lusts, the desires of the flesh.
His position in the holy mountain of Yahweh, His kingdom and government,
was to be the covering cherub over the earth. He was to govern the earth
according to Yahweh's commanded way but because of pride in his own beauty and
wisdom he became derelict in his duties. He
rebelled against Yahweh. Through subtlety and deceit he caused his subjects to
follow and worship him. He continues
to lead man in rebellion against Yahweh today. He has deceived man into
worshipping him while man thinks he is worshipping the true Elohim.
Since Yahweh placed Satan on his throne over the earth, Yahweh is the One
Who must remove him, but Satan's sin and desolation required a sacrifice, a
precious one. Yahweh had to send Yahshua, His Son to overcome Satan and to
sacrifice His own life. Yahshua did overcome and offered His life as the perfect
sacrifice, as a Lamb without blemish.
OVERCOMING
SATAN
Yahshua said, "....if I cast out devils by the spirit of Yahweh,
then the kingdom of Yahweh is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a
strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?
And then he will spoil his house," Mt. 12:28-29.
Yahshua has overcome Satan, the strong man of this world and can now cast
him out of his heavenly places (places of worship) into the earth and will soon
bind him, casting him into the abyss.
The way to overcome Satan, his lies and deceit is through the truth.
Yahshua is the Word (Jn. 1:1-3; 14) and the Word is truth (Jn. 17:17). The
Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth is given by Yahshua the Messiah
(Jn. 15:26-27) which leads us into all truth (Jn. 16:13-15).
That Spirit of truth was sent on the day of Pentecost as recorded in
Acts, chapter 2. The word of truth was going forth in great power and strength.
But Satan and his followers began to make war against the true believers through
persecution, tribulation and death.
A
LITTLE HORN
Daniel records that a little horn would arise which would wax exceeding
great, toward the south and toward the east and toward the pleasant land. And it
WAXED GREAT EVEN TO THE HOST OF HEAVEN; and it cast down some of the host and of
the stars to the ground (Heb. = "erets" translated in Gen. 1:1 as
"earth."), and stamped upon them. Yea HE MAGNIFIED HIMSELF EVEN TO THE
PRINCE OF HOST, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of
his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given him against the daily
sacrifice by reason of transgression, and IT CAST DOWN THE TRUTH TO THE EARTH;
and it practised, and prospered," Dan. 8:9-12.
This little horn waxes great even to the host of heaven.
In other words, it and its followers, its adherents appear as the true
believers, modern Chr-stians. Paul writes, "But Yahweh, Who is rich in
mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with the Messiah (by grace ye are saved;) AND HATH
RAISED US
UP TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN MESSIAH," Eph. 2:4-6.
The little horn and its hosts are a counterfeit of the heavenly host.
The history of this "little horn" begins in Daniel, chapter
seven. It comes out of the fourth beast or kingdom that rules over the earth.
That kingdom is Rome whose head is Caesar. Caesar is Kaisar in Latin which is a
combination of two words "kai" and "sar." Kai is usually a
conjunction such as and, but, for, etc. but is also is translated as
"that." Sar comes from the Hebrew and means "prince." Caesar
or Kaisar, therefore, means "that prince."
Caesar magnified himself as Pontifex Maximus. Pontifex means,
"priest." Maximus means, the greatest, the highest or the largest.
CONSTANTINE’S
COMMAND
The Encyclopedia
Britannica, Fourteenth
Edition says this about Constantine called the "GREAT," "He not
only identified himself more openly than ever with Christianity, but showed a
determination to assert his supremacy in ecclesiastical affairs, holding no
doubt that, as the office of PONTIFEX MAXIMUS gave him the SUPREME CONTROL OF
RELIGIOUS MATTERS throughout the empire, THE REGULATION OF CHRISTIANITY FELL
WITHIN HIS PROVINCE," (Vol. 6, p.p. 299).
It also says "Thus Constantine BECAME UNDISPUTED MASTER OF Rome and
the West, and CHRISTIANITY," (Vol. 6, p.p. 298).
Volume 19, p.p. 437 adds, "In making the State Christian,
Constantine made the church a State institution, and therefore UNDER IMPERIAL
CONTROL. CAESAROPAPISM WAS THE LOGICAL CONSEQUENCE. The sacerdotium was united
with the imperium in the person of the monarch AS IN THE PAGAN STATE.
Constantine was the one who issued the edict, the command to worship on
the first day of the week, Sunday, the day of the sun deity rather than the
seventh day Sabbath.
According
to the Britannica, Constantine replaced Rome as the center of the empire by
making Byzantium, (Constantinople), New Rome the new capital. It is described
thusly, "Byzantium was refounded on the model of Rome, had its own senate,
and presently a praefectus urbi. But its character was different in two ways: IT
WAS CHR-STIAN AND IT WAS GREEK. From
its foundation New Rome had a Christian stamp; it had no history as the capital
of a pagan empire," (Vol. 19, p.p. 432).
"Constantine believed that the time had come for society to be
remolded by the fiat of despotic authority, and it is significant that from
henceforth we meet with the undisguised assertion that the will of the emperor
is THE SOUL FOUNTAIN OF LAW, Constantine, in fact, embodies THE SPIRIT OF
ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY WHICH, BOTH IN CHURCH AND STATE WAS TO PREVAIL for many
centuries," (Vol. 6, p.p. 299).
Essentially what Constantine did (who was emperor of Rome, the fourth
BEAST of Dan. 7) was convert the faith of the new religion, which had swept
throughout the empire, into paganism. He had exalted himself as Pontifex Maximus,
the great high priest, the true office of Yahshua the Messiah (Heb. chapters
1-4), mag-nifying himself to (as) the Prince of the host (Dan. 8:11), taking
away the daily sacrifice which was to be offered up (prayer) in Yahshua's name (Jn.
14:13), casting down the place of His (Yahshua's) sanctuary.
The true name of the Saviour was paganized into "Iesous,"
"Yesus," "Hesus," "Jesus" which was the paganistic
Druidic name for Baal.
Constantine and the following or successive emperors of the Roman empire
cast the truth about Yahshua to the ground or earth and stamped on it. They
changed Him from an obedient, faithful Son into a disobedient, unfaithful Son
Who did away with His Father's commandments, a rebel. Instead of teaching
obedience to Yahweh's commandments which is love to Elohim and love to man (Mt.
22:35-40; Mk. 12:28-34) they taught indulgencies.
Yahweh's law on the seventh day sabbath was changed to the first day of
the week and named Sunday, the venerable day of the unconquered sun. Man began
to raise up leviathan to heavenly places of worship and cast the truth to the
ground.
The Arian controversy stirred much debate and division among these
counterfeit believers for they knew not the nature of the Son of Elohim. Then
came the iconoclast controversy. Men under paganistic influence wanted idols and
images to represent Elohim, the Son and the saints. Once again in total
disregard to the second commandment. Man's own reasoning and traditions
overruled Yahweh's law.
Instead of observing Yahweh's commanded annual feast days, as enumerated
and revealed in Lev. 23, man instituted his own annual paganistic, heathenistic
feast days. Christmas is the birth of the sun deity, not the true Son of Elohim.
Man changed the beginning of the year to Jan. 1st instead of Abib as commanded
by Yahweh. Man turned to Valentine's day, a pagan sex festival, Lent and Easter
signifying the mourning (leviathan?) for Tammuz, the pagan saviour and sun deity
who died, descended into hades and was raised back to life by his mother Easter
or Ishtar observed by sun rise services.
Man has not repented from his ancient paganistic, heathenistic, riotous
worship of a lawless one. Rather the names have been changed, the scriptures
have been twisted, wrested (aqullathown) to make these things appear as if they
are truth through subtlety, deceit, lies of the serpent (nachash) Satan (tan,
the sea serpent or hideous land animal, the monster or dragon who departed from
right, practices idolatry, is derelict in his duty [cet]).
This
twisted, wrested, malignant, idolatrous religion called Chr-stianity has
practised and prospered as the true religion as Dan. 8:12 said it would. It has
cast the real truth to the earth and, as Job said, naming the days, giving them
pagan names, raised leviathan and mourning.
THE
DRAGON OF ISA. 27:1
Isaiah says that Yahweh will slay the DRAGON that is in the sea. What
does this mean? The Hebrew word used here for dragon is "tanniyn." It
is also translated as a marine or land monster, sea-serpent or jackal just as
the word "tan" or "than" is. But tanniyn is a combination of
two words, "tan" and "niyn."
Niyn means, progeny or son. Tanniyn means progeny
or son of the dragon or sea
serpent.
When Yahweh cursed the serpent He said, "And I will
put enmity between thee and
the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head and thou
shalt bruise his heel," Gen. 3:15.
This is a prophecy for several ages. We know that the Seed of the woman
is the Messiah. The Hebrew word for "seed" is "zera" and
also means posterity or child. Yahweh says that Satan has a seed, a child which
the word "tanniyn" verifies. Who is this child?
The
Encyclopedia Britannica,
14th Edition has this to say about Augustus Caesar in an article entitled Serpent
Cults, "In the
sanctuary of Aesculapius at Epiduarus women were visited in their dreams by a
serpent - the reputed father of the child that was born and elsewhere Sicyon who
had a progenitor was regarded as the son of the divine healer. Similar also was
the origin of Augustus in a temple of Apollo, the g-d who had his tame serpents
in the grove on Epirus," (Vol. 20, p.p. 370).
Augustus, the emperor of the fourth kingdom of Dan. 2 and 7, the
terrible, dreadful beast, was supposedly the son, child, seed of the serpent.
The article furthermore says that Alexander the Great, king of Greece had a
similar birth.
Constantine, a successor of Augustus, ruler of the beast, not only
received rulership over Rome, Augustus' dominion, but Greece, Alexander's
dominion. Both had proclaimed themselves as children, descendants, seeds of the
serpent.
Constantine has raised up Chr-stianity, a paganized, heathenized, false worship of a saviour who is a lawless rebel. To be continued...
The
tsaddi
looks like this (y/x/c)
respectively in the more ancient Pictorial, Paleo, and Modern Hebrew. It serves
as the number 90 which is an extension of the aleph
(1) through the tet
(9 = 1 x 9) and the yod
(10) (90 = 1 x 9 x 10). It has a final form #
in Modern Hebrew which serves as the number 900.
The
aleph

being the mouth of El = la,
mouth = p,
reveals the word of Yahweh spoke and the creation existed (Psa. 33:6-9). The
heavenly language is Hebrew, thus all is established through the Hebrew
alphabet.
When
finished on the 6th day, everything was pronounced as “very good.”
“Good” is the Hebrew word tov

of which the tet

is the first letter.
It
was by the hand (yod

of Yahweh that the foundation of the
earth was laid, and His right hand spanned (stretched out) the heavens (Isa.
43:18).
The
tzadi
typifies “righteousness” so now we need to explore this letter to see what
we can discover about it.
Michael
Monk writes, “c

the Righteous One, refers to the Almighty, Who is called rv"y"w>
qydIc;,
the Righteous and Upright One (Dt. 32:4), devoid of every conceivable injustice.
True righteousness can exist only in God and is an integral part of Him. No
other being can have an essence so pure that it is without deficiency and cannot
become further perfected.
Similarly,
King Solomon’s description, ~l"w[

The tzaddik is the

sustains the entire world
(Magen

Osios
R’ Akiva
explains that c
symbolizes God’s ultimate righteousness toward people, which is defined as His
gift of knowledge, understanding, and power of intelligent speech, through which
the world can endure.” (The
Wisdom of the Hebrew Alphabet,

Isaiah
was inspired to write, “Therefore thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh, Behold, I
lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a
sure foundation:
he that believeth shall not make haste,” Isa. 28:16.
Yahshua
is revealed to be that stone, “6Wherefore
also it is contained in the scripture, Behold,
I lay in Sion a chief
corner stone,
elect, precious:
and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7Unto
you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient,
the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the
corner, 8And
a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the
word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed,” 1 Pet. 2:6-9.

The “light” that God found to be good was the deeds of tzaddikim (Yalkut
Eliezer).
This is also alluded to by the gematria of the words bwOj
yKI rwOah",
259, which equals ~yqIyDc:h:
(Ha-tsaddakim—the
righteous ones) (Metzareif
Dahava).
The
tzaddik
illuminates the world by bringing the Shechinah
down to dwell among men. (IBID,
p. 191)
Yahshua
proclaimed that He is the light of the world (Jn. 8:12; 9:5). But He also said
that His disciples (taught ones and followers) would also be the light of the
world (Mt. 5:14).
HUMILITY
Again,
Michael Monk writes, “The tzaddik’s
extremely humble readiness to submit to the Divine is figuratively expressed in
the Torah script by the shape of the letter c.
It consists of a bent n
(nun)—standing
for humility—which is then bent even further to make itself a resting place
for the y—standing
for Yahweh (Magen
David).
The
y
resting on the bent n
is furthermore allegorically compared to a rider on the back of his horse as an
allusion to God who lowers Himself in order to accompany His children wherever
they go, even into the golus,
exile
(Magen
David).
(IBID,
p. 192)
The
nun (n)
looks like this (n)
in the Pictorial Hebrew. It is the picture of a seed, or an heir, and is
equivalent to the number 50 which is the number of liberty, freedom, jubilee,
etc.
This
freedom, this liberty will be ushered in through the intervention of the right
hand (yod/y)
of Yahweh Who is Yahshua the Messiah! He is the true humble servant as He was
willing to empty Himself of the power, honor, and glory that He had to become a
man, dwell among us, and suffer great shame and affliction (Phil 2:5-8).
Furthermore,
Yahshua declared, “I and my Father are one,” Jn. 10:30. The modern tzaddi
certainly expresses these words. But it can now also typify those who belong to
Yahweh through Yahshua as He dwells in them by His Spirit.
The
bent tzaddi
c
appears in the front or middle of the Hebrew words while the final tzaddi
#
appears at the end. Michael Monk says that the bent tzaddi
typifies the life of humility in this world while the straight tzaddi
typifies life in the world to come. In either case, the bent, or straight c/#,
the y
is attached to it revealing Yahweh’s hand with it.
FAITH
Michael
Monk also writes, “According to another allegory, the structure of the c
alludes to the faith of a tzaddik.
Should he suffer hlypn,
downfall,
the y,
for Yahweh, is close by to rescue him (Maharal).
In this vein the Psalmist says, “but I have not seen a righteous man
forsaken,” 37:25. (IBID,
192)
Yitzchak
Ginsburgh writes, “The tzadik
lives by his faith.’ The form of the letter tzadik
(qydc,
or tzadi,
ydc)
resembles that of the alef
more than any other letter. The twenty-two letters of the alef-beit
pair into eleven ‘form mates,’ the two letters whose forms most closely
resemble one another. The ‘mate’ of the alef,
“the Master of the universe,’ is the tzadik,
“the righteous one,’ upon whom the world stands, as is said: ‘The tzadik
is the foundation of the world.” (The
Alef-Beit,
p. 266)
Again,
we have discovered that Yahshua is the foundation of the world. He is also the
“righteous one” and the aleph,
as He revealed to John, “I am the aleph
and tau.”
Rev. 1:8.
Jeremiah
reveals the truth of the situation, “5Behold,
the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch,
and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in
the earth. 6In
his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his
name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS!”
Jer. 23:5-6.
Paul
reveals, “30But
of him are ye in the Messiah Yahshua, who
of Yahweh is made unto us
wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption: 31That,
according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in Yahweh,” 1 Cor.
1:30-31.
Yitzchak
continues, “The letter tzadik
begins the word ~lc
(tselem),
the Divine ‘image’ in which G-d created man. We are taught that the tzadik
of ~lc
corresponds to the three conscious levels of soul: mind, heart, and action,
whereas the two following letters (lamed
[l]
and mem
[~])
of ~lc
correspond to the two transcendent levels of the soul, ‘the living one’ (chayah)
and ‘the single one’ (yechidah),
respectively. These two levels become conscious as two states of faith in the
inner awareness of the tzadik:
faith in the Transcendent Light of G-d, the ultimate source of creation, and
faith in the very Essence of G-d, the ultimate source of the revelation of Torah
and mitzvot.
For this reason the word tzadik
(qydc
= 204) equals two times “faith” (hnwma
= 102). Also in the verse qydcw
hyhy wtnwmab ,
‘The tzadik lives in his faith,’ the letters of the word ‘in his faith’
(wtnwmab)
can be read as twnwma
‘b,
‘two levels of faith.’ ‘Living in one’s faith’ means experiencing
greatest joy in one’s service of G-d, as explained in Tanya.
The
word #[,
‘tree,’ created on the third day, equals ~lc
(=160), the ‘Divine image’ in which man was created on the sixth day. ‘Man
is the tree of the field.’ The third day (tiferet
(‘beauty’), is the origin of the sixth day, yesod
(‘foundation’). Tiferet
and yesod
totally integrate in the secret of the ‘middle line’ - ‘the body and the brit
are considered one.’ In sefer
Yetzirah
we are taught that the twelve simple letters of the twenty-two letters of the alef-beit
correspond to the twelve months of the year. Also, each month relates in
particular to a specific ‘sense’ in the soul. The letter tzadik
is the letter of the month of Shevat,
whose ‘sense’ is that of ‘eating.’ The fifteenth (middle) day of Shevat,
Tu
b’Shevat,
is the New Year of Trees. (The Rabbinic word for ‘tree,’ !lya,
equals 91, the union of the two letters alef
and tzadik,
which is also the union of the two values 26+65
[(2·13)+(5·13)
= 7·13
= 1 + 2 + 3….+ 13 = ∆13],
the value of the name Yahweh as it is written (hwhy)
and read [ynda].)”
(IBID,
p. 266)
Adonai
Yahweh (hwhy
ynda)
is first revealed in the Scriptures when the Word of Yahweh (hwhy-rbd)
appeared to Abram in a dream. This is recorded in Genesis 15:1-2. This is also
the chapter wherein Abram/Abraham is revealed to be the father of the faithful!
The name should never be substituted by another word.
Abram
believed Yahweh. “Believed” is the Hebrew word !ma
(amen)
which the sum total of the letters equals to 91, the combination of the alef
and tzadi!
“And he believed” is translated from ve-ha-amen
(!mahw)
which equals 102! Yahweh counted his faith as righteousness, thus Abram was a tzadik
(= 204)!
Thirteen
is a significant number because the Hebrew word echad
(one) totals to 13 as also does the feminine Hebrew for love (ahavah).
If the integers from 1 to 13 are added, the total is 91!
Yitzchak
adds, “Amen (!ma
=
91) is the secret union of 26 (the name Yahweh as written) and 65 (the name
Yahweh as read ydna):
tzadik
at one with alef,
as explained above. “Amen” (!ma)
is the root of both hnwma,
“faith” and tma
“truth.” (In tma,
the nun
of !ma
‘falls’ from the root as does the nun
of !b,
‘son’ in tb,
‘daughter’). (IBID,
p. 278)
The
secret union is that Yahweh is Adonai (Sovereign, Master, Lord) as this
combination is utilized throughout the Scriptures, but those who believe (!ma)
as Abraham are at one (echad
= 13) with Yahweh and are those who love (ahavah
=
13) Him!
THE
SIDE
Robert
M. Haralick writes, “The eighteenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is c,
spelled ydIc".
It has the numerical value of 90. It has a final form #,
which has a numerical value of 900. One word related to ydIc"
is ydIcI,
which means lateral or side. (The
Inner Meaning of the Hebrew Letters,
p. 257)
If
we look at the more ancient Pictorial Hebrew picture of the tzadi
(y)
it looks like a man laying on his side. The picture changes a little with the
Paleo Hebrew which looks like something or someone standing erect and something
flowing from its side (x).
It
is written, “24And
it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law
(Torah) in a book, until they were finished, 25That
Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of Yahweh,
saying, 26Take
this book of the law, and put it in the side
of the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, that it may be there for a
witness against thee,” Dt. 31:24-26.
The
Torah containing Yahweh’s covenant including His commandments describes the
“righteousness” wherein He desired Israel to live and walk. Placing it in
the side
of the ark was not only a witness against them, but also a witness of the “righteousness”
that Yahshua would walk in when He appeared on the earth.
Yahweh
cautioned Israel, “51Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan
into the land of Canaan; 52Then
ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy
all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down
all their high places: 53And
ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have
given you the land to possess it. 54And
ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to
the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the
less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot
falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit. 55But
if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it
shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in
your eyes, and thorns
in your sides,
and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. 56Moreover
it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto
them,” Num. 33:51-56.
Yahshua
Son of Nun cautioned Israel, “11Take
good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love
Yahweh your Elohim. 12Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even
these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto
them, and they to you: 13Know
for a certainty that Yahweh your Elohim will no more drive out any of these
nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges
in your sides,
and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Yahweh
your Elohim hath given you,” Josh. 23:11-13.
TSAR
In
Numbers 33:55, Yahweh cautions Israel that if they don’t evict the Canaanites
from the land, then they would not only be thorns in their sides, but they would
“vex” them. The word for “vex” is tsarar
(rrc).
Tsarar
basically means; adversary, (be in) afflict(-ion), beseige, bind (up), (be in,
bring) distress, enemy, narrower, oppress, pangs, shut up, be in a strait
(trouble), vex. (Strong’s
Exhaustive Concordance
#H6887)
Another
important word for us to understand that stems from tsarar
is the word tsar
(rc)
which is defined and utilized as; narrow; (as a noun) a tight place (usually
figuratively, i.e. trouble); also a pebble (as in 6864); (transitive) an
opponent (as crowding):--adversary,
afflicted(-tion), anguish, close, distress,
enemy,
flint, foe, narrow, small, sorrow, strait, tribulation,
trouble.
The
Pictorial is quite revelatory in this situation because it looks like this: ry.
Notice that the head is turned away from the tsadi/tsadik!
To go away from, contrary to righteousness is to go into sin, rebellion,
wickedness, evil, which always delivers one into TROUBLE, TRIBULATION, SORROW,
DISTRESS, ANGUISH, ETC.!
It
was the TSAR (rc)
Constantine who, being the head of the Roman Empire, the fourth kingdom of
Daniel chapter 2, and fourth beast of Daniel chapter 7, who entered into the
remnant of Yahshua’s believers, took over as Pontifex Maximus, and began to
lead Yahshua’s followers down the primrose path to destruction!
This
is why the GREAT TRIBULATION will come upon the earth! Christianity IS NOT
seeking after the TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS of Yahweh, but neither is Judaism, nor
Islam, nor any of the other false pagan religions conjured up by misled,
misguided, deceived mankind!
Psalms
74 is quite revealing! “3Lift
up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done
wickedly in the sanctuary. 4Thine
enemies (tsarar/rrc)
roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs. 5A
man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees. 6But
now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers. 7They
have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the
dwelling place of thy name to the ground. 8They
said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the
meeting places of Elohim in the land. 9We
see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any
that knoweth how long. 10O
Elohim, how long shall the adversary (tsar/rc)
reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?” 74:3-10.
The
signs of Yahweh’s people were His Sabbaths and annual festivals, as well as
His holy Name and titles! The TSAR Constantine, along with his companions,
Yahweh’s enemies (tsarar),
have substituted His/their signs, to wit, Sunday worship, annual pagan holidays,
and blasphemous names.
Through
the TSAR Constantine and those who followed him, the Roman Catholic Church,
Greek Orthodox Church, and Russian Orthodox Church were established. Of course
Protestantism came out of the Roman Catholic Church as her daughters.
We
must “come out of her that we be not partakers in her plagues!
THE
MENORAH
Yahweh
commanded Moses, “And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten
work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his
knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. 32And
six branches shall come out of the sides
of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side,
and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
33Three
bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three
bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the
six branches that come out of the candlestick. 34And
in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops
and their flowers. 35And
there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two
branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to
the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. 36Their
knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work
of pure gold,” Ex. 25:31-36.
The
Menorah was the light of Yahweh’s holy sanctuary. If we look at the book of
Revelation chapter 1, we find that Yahshua is the great lamp that is in the
midst of the other lamps. In other words, the middle lamp typified Him, and the
others branched out from His side, and He said, “I am the vine and ye are the
branches…,” Jn. 15:5.
Amazingly,
each of the lamps had three bowls, while the central shaft had four bowls. That
is 22 bowls in all, one for each letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
Remember
that we got into addressing the primordial light before the sun and moon
appeared, as well as the light of the tzaddikim at the beginning of this
treatise. The Menorah was certainly a type of the light of Yahshua and His
righteous ones.
L.
Grant Luton writes, “Although the menorah described in Exodus had seven
branches, a menorah may have any number of branches. (The menorah used for
celebrating Hanukkah, for instance, has nine.) But regardless of the number of
branches in a menorah, the center branch is considered to
be the most important because it supports all of the branches on either
side. I mention this because the Bible in general, and the Torah in particular,
are constructed according to the pattern of the menorah. For instance, the five
books of the Torah may be compared to a Menorah as shown in following
illustration.
In
the illustration, Leviticus stands in the center with Genesis and Exodus
radiating out to one side, while Numbers and Deuteronomy radiate out to the
other. As we shall see, this arrangement is not the product of human ingenuity
but is a design supported by the Hebrew scriptures in a most amazing way.
If we take the first paragraph of Genesis, beginning from the last letter of twvarb (bereshit, ‘In the beginning’) we find the word Torah (hrwt) spelled out at 50 letter intervals. We begin our count with the letter tau (t) because it is the first t found in scripture it is the letter with which the word “Torah” begins. Below is the passage with the four letters of hrwt (Torah) marked with arrows. If you dare to count them you will notice that the four letters are at 50-letter intervals.
The
same equidistant lettering phenomenon occurs also in Exodus. Beginning with the
first tau
(t)
of the first verse of the book, we once more fine the word Torah
(hrwt)
spelled out at intervals of 50 letters. The following passage from Exodus 1:1-7
has the four letters of hrwt
(Torah)
marked with arrows.
We will skip Leviticus (the center branch of our menorah) for a moment and move on to Numbers, the fourth book of the Torah examining the opening paragraph, we once again find the word Torah, but with a difference. Instead of Torah being spelled hrwt, it is spelled backwards—twrh.
NOTE:
It is assumed that the reason God chose to start the count from the hei
(h)
at the end of Moses’ name rather than one of the hei’s
found in the name YHWH (hwhy)
that precedes it, is that though the Torah
came from God, it came through Moses. Therefore, the count begins at the h
in Moses’ name.
Proceeding to the last book of Torah—Deuteronomy—we find an arrangement similar to that in numbers. Once again Torah is spelled backwards (twrh) but this time at intervals of 49 letters instead of 50. Here is the passage (Deuteronomy 1:5-8) beginning with the (h) at the beginning of the word htwth (ha-torah, “the Torah”).
(In
His Own Words,
pp. 180-182)
I
want to break in at this point to focus on the numbers 50 and 49. Fifty is the
number for Jubilee, liberty, freedom. It is the numerical equivalent to the nun
(n)
which is the picture of a seed in the more ancient Pictorial Hebrew (n).
Fifty occurs three times, which three is the first number in geometry that can
provide a complete a design such as a “triangle” (∆).
In
other words, the number one is only a point (·),
while two (2 points) will complete a straight line (·
·),
but three will provide an enclosure (as
already illustrated).
Seven
(7) is the number initially for rest, blessing, and holiness (Gen. 2:2-3). It
also became a “sign” (mark) to reveal Yahweh as the Elohim Who sanctifies
Israel, and Israel as His people (Ex. 31:13-14).
It
is also a type of completion because it completes and ends the seven day weekly
cycle. There is much, much more, but hopefully you get the point.
Therefore,
seven also being the number for spiritual completion and perfection, to multiply
seven by itself (7x7) means that spiritual completion and perfection is
“finished” and only after that can fifty, liberty, jubilee, freedom be
accomplished. Thus, the countdown to Pentecost, seven times seven Sabbaths
yielded the time when the Spirit of liberty and freedom could be given, as well
as the annual count of seven times seven Sabbatical years yield the Jubilee, a
time of restoration, liberty, freedom!
L.
Grant Luton continues, “Thus far we have seen the principle of the menorah
demonstrated in the arrangement of these four books of the Torah (we will get to
Leviticus in a moment) in that Genesis and Exodus comprise two branches on the
one side of the Menorah (let us say the left side), while Numbers and
Deuteronomy comprise the two branches on the opposite side (the right). In the
first two branches the word Torah is
spelled forwards, but in the opposite two branches it is spelled backwards. This
arrangement suggests that Torah is “radiating” outward in both directions
from the center branch—Leviticus.
Let us look now at Leviticus. Its opening verse is pictured below:
Instead
of the word hrwt
(torah),
here we find God’s name hwhy
(YHWH) spelled out in equidistant lettering of eight-letter intervals. The
picture is now complete. From God (YHWH) radiates the words of the Torah as if
it were a menorah designed by God and illuminated by the oil of His Holy Spirit.
Why is the name YHWH in Leviticus spelled at intervals of eight letters?
Throughout the Bible eight is the number of life, and the name of the 8th letter
of the alphabet, chet
(x)
is traditionally a symbol for ‘life’.” (IBID,
p. 183)
Eight
is certainly the number for life, but it is also the number for “new
beginnings” as well as the masculine Hebrew word for “love!”
However,
another thing to notice is the word Torah in the Pictorial Hebrew erft.
Read from right to left in the traditional Hebrew manner, we would see
“covenant (t)
establishing (f)
son/man (r)
revealed (e)!”
Read the other way we would see “Behold (e)
the
man/son (r)
nailed (f)
to
the cross
(t)!”
Leviticus
is also the book of instruction primarily for the priesthood concerning the
sacrifices (picturing Yahshua), the instructions for the Sabbath and annual holy
day observances (all picturing Yahshua), etc. It was the duty of the priesthood
to direct the people to Yahweh. Had they properly done so, then the people would
have recognized Yahshua for who he really was! As the name Yahweh reveals in the
Pictorial Hebrew (efei)
I
(hand) e
(revealed) f
(nail) e
(revealed).
We
can also arrange every seven letters into a menorah which is also quite
revealing:
Notice
that the fourth Hebrew letter, the dalet
(d)
is the central letter. The dalet
is the picture of a door d
in the Pictorial Hebrew. Yahshua also proclaimed that He is the door, “1Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but
climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3To
him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own
sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4And
when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow
him: for they know his voice. 5And
a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the
voice of strangers. 6This
parable spake Yahshua unto them: but they understood not what things they were
which he spake unto them. 7Then
said Yahshua unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I
am the door of the sheep.
8All
that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear
them. 9I
am the door:
by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture,” Jn. 10:1-7.
The
next seven letters have the kaf
(k)
as the central letter.
The
kaf
(k)
is the picture of an open hand or palm in Pictorial Hebrew. This is the hand
that works, provides, covers, etc. Interestingly, the chet
(x)
and nun
(n)
are both letters of life, the tet
(j)
good, the yod
(y)
the initial in Yahweh’s name, another hand, by the way, the lamed
(l)
letter of authority, and the mem
(m)
the waters of the spirit.
Yahshua
is the right hand of the Father (Psa. 110:1; Mt. 22:44; Heb. 1:1-3, etc.)
through whom all will be accomplished, “Then he answered and spake unto me,
saying, This is the word of Yahweh unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by
power, but by my spirit, saith Yahweh of hosts,” Zech. 4:6.
All
came into existence by the word of His power, “1In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was
Elohim. 2The
same was in the beginning with Elohim. 3All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made,” 1 Jn. 1:1-3. He upholds everything by the power of His word, “1Elohim,
who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by
the prophets, 2Hath
in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all
things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3Who
being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and
upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our
sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Heb. 1:1-3.
Now
let’s look at the final set of letters:
The
tzaddi
(c)
is the central shaft upon which the rest are suspended! We have already looked
at the letters on the right branch. We have the ones on the left branch to yet
look into including the last letter that can’t be included in the menorah
series because it is the 22nd letter, the tau
(t).
However, as we have already read in this treatise, the tzaddi/tzaddik
is the foundation of the world!
We
have one more Menorah to look at before we finish this treatise. That Menorah is
another most wondrous revelation! It has to do with the very beginning verse in
Scripture, “In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth:
The
Hebrew version consists of only seven words. When we place these seven words on
a Menorah, the central shaft is revelatory!
The
English version, of course, doesn’t reveal the truth of the situation, but the
Hebrew does! The central word that the others hang on is ET (ta/aleph
tau)!
Yahshua
told John, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the
Master, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty,” Rev.
1:8.
He
never said Alpha
and Omega.
He was speaking to John, a Hebrew, in the Heavenly language which is Hebrew! He
said that He is the Aleph
and Tau
which are the beginning and ending letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Everything
hangs on Yahshua the Messiah! He is the foundation of the world! Without Him
there is nothing! He is the true tzaddi/tzaddik!
“1Woe
be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith
Yahweh. 2Therefore
thus saith Yahweh Elohim of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye
have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them:
behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Yahweh. 3And
I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven
them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and
increase. 4And
I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no
more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith Yahweh. 5Behold,
the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a
righteous
Branch,
and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in
the earth. 6In
his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his
name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. 7Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that they shall no more say, Yahweh liveth,
which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 8But,
Yahweh liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel
out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and
they shall dwell in their own land,” Jer. 23:1-8.
HalleluYah!!!!!
Your righteousness and mine depend upon Yahweh and His righteous branch which is
Yahshua the Messiah. I know we could go on forever looking into this one letter
of the Hebrew alphabet, but we, being so temporal, must stop somewhere, so we
will end this treatise now, looking forward to the eternal age when we will be
able to examine it much more thoroughly!
JH
He
is called Santa Claus, Old Saint Nick, Saint
Nicholas, Kris
Kringle, a jolly old Elf and other acronyms. He lives at the North Pole, rides
in a sleigh drawn by 8 tiny reindeer and visits every home in the world on
Christmas Eve bringing gifts to all, especially children. Just who is this jolly
little fat man? The answer is surprising!
Santa
Claus is a name that is riveted in the heart of the great overall majority of
young children in the United States and many other parts of the world. Children
love him, they write to him, they sing of him. When Christmas time nears there
are many men who don Santa Claus suits and appear in parades, shopping malls,
toy stores, etc., all over the country. Many, many of the little children are
taken for a visit to these men so that they can put in their special request for
their Christmas toys.
On Christmas Eve the trees are all
trimmed and stockings are hung. The children are generally nestled in their beds
as early as possible in anxious anticipation of the soon coming visit. Some
leave food, snacks and pastries out as a treat for Santa.
Just who is this little fat elf in the red felt suit? Does he really
exist? Many have written of him. There are songs and movies that portray him as
being real, but he isn’t!
Do you remember when you discovered that Santa wasn’t real? Do you
remember how much of a let down that was? One man once told me that when he
finally found out that his parents, whom he loved and trusted very much, had
lied to him about Santa Claus, then he was also going to look into this J-sus
Chr-st thing and see if that was also real.
Even though most of us may not have reacted in such a distrusting manner,
it certainly is a big let-down when one discovers that a being that he has been
taught to look up to and love very much doesn’t even exist! What’s more, one
does learn that one’s parents haven’t been on the up and up and are,
therefore, capable of lying to you.
CONSEQUENCES
OF LIES
Everyone, except for the little children who are purposely deceived,
knows that Santa is not real. Little children are so open, honest and naive that
they will believe just about anything their parents will tell them. For parents
to purposely mislead their children is damaging, to say the least.
Where do lies come from? Yahshua said, “Ye are of your father the
devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of
it,” Jn. 8:44.
Satan the devil is the father of lies. Have any parents ever thought that
when they are deceiving, lying to their children about Santa Claus that they are
following in the footsteps of and mimicking the father of lies, Satan the devil?
Believe it or not, such is the case.
Satan lied to Eve in the garden of Eden. Yahweh had told the man Adam
that he could eat of every tree of the garden, but he was not to eat of the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 2:16-17). Notice that He told the man
that if he took of that tree he would die (v. 17). Satan lied to Eve and said,
“Ye shall not surely die...,” Gen. 3:4.
Eve may have believed the serpent because she wanted to, but he
contradicted Yahweh’s word through lies, deceived the woman into taking of the
tree and her husband, Adam, followed suit bringing the penalty of sin and death
on every man (Ro. 5:12-19; 1 Cor. 15:21-22).
Such is the power of lies. Lies kill, lies murder, lies are of Satan the
devil. Satan, through his lies, has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9).
THE
ELF
Santa is called a jolly old elf.
His supposed helpers are elves.
Just what are elves anyway? The Encyclopedia
Britannica, 14th Edition, Vol. 8 has this
to say about elf, “a diminutive supernatural being of Teutonic mythology,
usually mischievous, causing diseases and evil dreams, stealing children and
substituting changelings.” (p. 353.)
Webster’s New World
Dictionary gives the etymology of the
word elf as coming from the German word alb
meaning nightmare.
It gives the definition as; a tiny, often prankish fairy, supposedly exercising
magic powers and haunting woods and hills; sprite. The
Consolidated-Webster Comprehensive
Encyclopedic Dictionary reveals that an elf
and goblin
are one and the same thing. A goblin
is described as an evil or mischievous sprite.
Elves are generally depicted as tiny woodland entities that are very
similar to the Greek God Pan and the Roman God Faunas in other words they have
the ears and beard of a goat.
THE
NAME SANTA CLAUS
What does the name Santa Claus mean and where does it come from? Santa
Claus is simply another form for the name Saint Nickolas. Nickolas is a Greek
name. Nickolas is a name that is a compound of two words Nike
and laos.
Nike
is a primitive Greek word meaning victory, conquest, to conquer. Laos
means people. Nickolas, therefore, means Victor, or Conqueror of the people.
We read in Rev. 6:1, “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals,
and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying,
‘Come and see.’ And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him
had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to
conquer.” The words conquering
and conquer
both stem from the Greek word Nike.
Yahshua explained the first seal in Mat. 24:4-5, “And Yahshua answered
and said unto them, ‘Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in
My name, saying, ‘I am Messiah;’ and shall deceive many.”
The one sitting on the white horse, going forth to conquer (nike) the
people (laos, [Nickolas]) is doing so in deceit. The one on the white horse is
not the TRUE Messiah but a false messiah. He conquers the many with deceit.
Santa Claus (Saint Nickolas) is a conqueror of the people. He is used to
conquer the hearts of our children at their youngest and most tender age. He
conquers their hearts through deceit for he is not real. The sad thing is the
lie comes through the child’s closest living relatives, his parents.
Santa Claus is also associated with the time of the year that is
supposedly the birthdate of the Savior. But this is yet another lie that is
foisted upon an unsuspecting public (see our tract titled “Just
Whose Birthday Is December 25th?”
THEY
LOVE A LIE
Santa Claus is a character of mythology, falsehood, fables. The Apostle
Paul warned, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned
unto fables,”
2 Tim. 4:3-4.
Satan is the one who loves lies. He is the father of lies. Paul warns
that one is coming, “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with
all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that
they might be saved. And for this cause Yahweh shall send them strong delusion,
that they should
believe a lie: that they all might be
damned (judged) who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness,” 2 Thes. 2:9-12.
Santa Claus may not be the one that this Scripture is speaking of, but he
is a part of the system of lies, falsehood, fables, etc. which is used to sow
the seeds of deceit and destruction.
The prophet Isaiah was inspired to write, “Now
go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for
the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious People, lying
children, children that will not hear the law of Yahweh. Which say to the seers,
‘See not;’ and to the prophets, ‘Prophesy not unto us right things, speak
unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out
of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us,’” Isa.
30:8-11
Many people argue that Santa Claus is harmless. After all he is just for
the children. They worry about what people would do without Christmas and old
Santa. But the truth is, things would be much better for them if they would only
serve and worship Yahweh according to the way that He has commanded.
It seems hard to believe that men love lies, but the Scriptures are
replete with the revelation that such is the case. They are full of warnings
against going the wrong way while those to whom the warnings are spoken and
written, continue to go on heedlessly against the warnings.
Satan is a very subtle deceiver. He makes his false ways to appear as if
they are the way of light. Even though they look beautiful and harmless, the
intent behind it all is very evil indeed. Satan’s purpose is to glorify
himself and his ways. He wants to keep people from having a good and truthful
relationship with our Heavenly Father Yahweh and His Beloved Son Yahshua.
REPENT
Admittedly, it is very difficult to go against the grain. After all, the
great overall majority are in favor of Santa Claus and do observe Christmas.
But, remember that Yahshua said that it would be the many that go the broad way
to destruction (Mt. 7:13). He also said that many are called, but few are chosen
(Mt. 20:16; 23:14).
Don’t let the majority persuade you to lose out on your calling. The
Apostle Peter cried out, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name
of Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of
the Holy Spirit,” Acts 2:38. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth,
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come He will guide you into all
truth,” Jn. 16:13. The world cannot receive this Spirit, “Even the Spirit of
truth; Whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth
Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you,” Jn.
14:17.
Don’t be foolish and let a deception like Santa Claus conquer you.
