It is interesting that everyone wants to be of one assembly and one assembly only. That assembly is revealed in Revelation chapter three to be the assembly named Philadelphia. Of course, the chief reason is that there is nothing negative said in Yahshua’s discourse to this group. We all want to think that we are doing well and want all the positives and nothing negative said about us. That’s always reserved for the other guy. One of the things that Yahshua declares is that He is going to have a new name. Another thing He declares is “You have not denied my name.” Does only knowing the pronunciation of his name make us a part of this assembly? What about knowing the name of the Heavenly Father Yahweh? Does knowing the pronunciation of their names automatically include us with this group? What does “denying His name” really mean?

By Jerry Healan

“And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my Elohim, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my Elohim, and the name of the city of my Elohim, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my Elohim: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the assemblies,” Rev. 3:7-13.

What is Yahshua’s new name? This is the question that we do desire to answer in this treatise, but let’s address another question first. That question is, “What does the word NAME mean?”

Since the Hebrew language is the language of revelation, let’s explore the Hebrew word for name, and its meaning. The Hebrew word for “name” is shem (*~v). It is defined as, “a primitive word; an appellation, as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character.” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance)

Notice especially that it is a mark, or memorial of individuality. In other words, one’s name singles out, marks, identifies who that person is. One’s name is associated with his honor, authority, character, etc.

Take at look at the Hebrew characters that compose the word for name. These characters are shin (v) and mem (m). Shin (v) has to do with teeth in pictorial Hebrew. With teeth, we eat, drink, consume, or even destroy. Mem (m) has to do with water in pictorial Hebrew. Water can be chaotic, and uncontrollable, yet it is also necessary for life. Yahshua likened the Holy Spirit to water in John 7:37-39.

When we see a person and we don’t know their name, not knowing their name has to do with chaos. When we learn what that person’s name is, then we know who they are. Thus, knowing a person’s name destroys (v) chaos (m). We can also begin to know what honor, authority, and character is associated with that name.

Let’s set some examples. There are a couple of men who are associated with multiple murders. Who are they? You are in chaos and confusion as to whom I am speaking about until I give you their names. One is John Wayne Gacy, the other is Charles Manson. Chaos and confusion are now removed. I am going to single out two other men who were mass murders and great oppressors. Who are they? You are in chaos and confusion as to who I am speaking of until I give you their names. One is Stalin, the other is Mao. I am thinking of two men were known as the fathers of their countries, who are they? You can guess and your guess may be correct, but you really don’t know until I give you their names. One is George Washington (you probably correctly guessed his name), but who is the other? How about Simon Bolivar. Chaos has been destroyed. You now know their names, honor, authority, character, etc.

Who created the heavens and the earth? Most people are in chaos and confusion as to what His name is. Most people will say God, but they will be wrong and remain in chaos and confusion because the Creator’s name is not God. So many, many of the men who attend Christian Seminaries will learn what His name is, but they are not instructed to focus on the importance of His name, as a matter of fact, to them, His name doesn’t matter. However, His honor, authority, character, etc., is that He is the Great Creator and His name MUST be associated with that honor, authority, character, etc.

Of course, there is chaos and confusion concerning how we should pronounce His name among those who profess to know it. Most of your scholars, books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc. will present the pronunciation of His name as Yahweh, but there are many now who contest this pronunciation and prefer Jehovah, Yehowah, Yahveh, Yahvah, Yahuweh, Yahuwah, etc. Who is correct? Probably no one is 100% correct. We are all like little children who seek to speak our Creator’s name, but can’t quite get it out correctly yet.

We, of this assembly, prefer to utilize Yahweh for our own reasons, research, understanding of the Hebrew language, pronunciation, etc. The name of the Creator consists of four Hebrew letters, which alternately serve as consonants and vowels. These letters are hwhy; yod (y), hei (h), waw (w), hei (h).

Both Josephus and Rabbi Arthur Green confess that the name consists of four vowels. Rabbi Green (Seek My Face, Speak My Name) expands this by saying that the vowels, of course, are mere breath. Breath in Hebrew is ruach, which is also translated as spirit. The Savior Yahshua said that Yahweh is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:24). We feel that the name would better be rendered as Yaue, or Iaue in the English, but we render it Yahweh for ease of pronunciation only.

CREATOR

Yahweh, of course, is the Creator of all things. This is one of the titles, the honor, authority, character that is associated with His name. But how… in what way is it revealed that He created the heavens and the earth? “Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. 13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together,” Isa. 48:12-13.

While unbelieving men (scientists, professors, leaders, etc.) are on a campaign to disprove these words through the doctrines of evolution, they will worry themselves silly, spend much of our tax money, and never be able to accomplish this impossible task.

Let us reveal Yahweh’s right hand…His right and holy arm. Isaiah writes, “Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Yahweh revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahweh hath laid on him the iniquity of us all,” Isa. 53:1-6.

The Apostle John reveals this Arm of Yahweh in conjunction with Isaiah, “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. 30 Yahshua answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33  This he said, signifying what death he should die. 34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Messiah abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? 35 Then Yahshua said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Yahshua, and departed, and did hide himself from them. 37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Yahweh, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of Yahweh been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of Elohim,” Jn. 12:27-43.

Yes! Absolutely! Who is able to truly believe this report? Yahshua is the right hand and arm of Yahweh by Whom He laid the foundation of the earth and spanned the heavens! The Scriptures confirm this, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh. 2 The same was in the beginning with Yahweh. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth,” Jn. 1:1-3, 10, 14.

The Apostle Paul writes, “For we are his workmanship, created in the Messiah Yahshua unto good works, which Yahweh hath before ordained that we should walk in them…And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in Yahweh, who created all things by Yahshua the Messiah: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the assembly the manifold wisdom of Yahweh, 11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in the Messiah Yahshua our Sovereign,” Eph. 2:20; 3:9-11.

Notice that! We are created in the Messiah Yahshua by the Father Who Created all things through Yahshua the Messiah! Yahweh does not change (Mal. 3:6)! Neither does Yahshua, “Yahshua the Messiah the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever,” Heb. 13:8. Yahweh created all things through Him, and is still in the process of creating a new heavens and earth through Him!

The book of Hebrews also confirms the truth that all things were created by Yahshua, “Elohim, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Heb. 1:1-3.

Yahshua is the express image (character) of the Father. He is the One through Whom the Father made the worlds or ages, as the Greek word for worlds is aionas. Notice also that when He had accomplished His mission that the Father sent Him to do, He sat down on His right hand!

These things must be known and taught by the assembly as is revealed by Paul in the book of Ephesians as reported above! These are the things, the honor, authority, character, that are associated with His name. To deny them is to deny His name!

THE WORD OF YAHWEH

We have always known that the name Yahweh applies not only to the Father, but to the Son. We know, for instance, that Yahshua declared that He came to reveal the Father because no one had seen Him nor heard His voice, “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape,” Jn. 5:37.

John is also inspired to record, “No man hath seen Yahweh at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him,” Jn. 1:18.

The Apostle Paul is inspired to write, “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise Elohim, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen,” 1 Tim. 1:17.

Again, John writes, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of Yahweh; and every one that loveth is born of Yahweh, and knoweth Yahweh. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not Yahweh; for Yahweh is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of Yahweh toward us, because that Yahweh sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved Yahweh, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if Yahweh so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen Yahweh at any time. If we love one another, Yahweh dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us,” 1 Jn. 4:8-12.

But we can go back to the book of Deuteronomy and read, “These words Yahweh spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 23 And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; 24 And ye said, Behold, Yahweh our Elohim hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that Elohim doth talk with man, and he liveth,” Dt. 5:22-24.

The Scriptures record that Yahweh appeared to Abram, “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the El Shaddai; walk before me, and be thou perfect,” Gen. 17:1.

Yahweh appeared to Him again in the plains of Mamre, “And Yahweh appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, Adonai, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said,” Gen. 18:1-6.

There are other instances too many to mention. What does this all mean? We have so many instances in the Old Testament where it says that Yahweh appeared to people, spoke to people, etc., and yet, in the New Testament we find that no one has seen Yahweh at any time, neither heard His voice. The answer is that no one has seen the image, nor heard the voice of the Father Yahweh, but they have had a great deal of contact with One named “the Word of Yahweh” or in the Hebrew, hwhy-rbd (Dabar-Yahweh).

The Word of Yahweh (Dabar-Yahweh/hwhy-rbd) appeared to so many, especially the prophets. The interesting thing about the Hebrew word for word, which is dabar (rbd), is that the Pictorial Hebrew perfectly describes the relationship of Yahshua and the Father to us. Dabar is made up of the dalet (d), beit (b), and resh (r). In Pictorial Hebrew, the dalet (d) is a door, the beit (b) is a house, tent, temple, family, and the resh (r) is a head.

Yahshua is the Word (dabr/dbr/Jn. 1:1-14) , therefore, He is the door to the head of the house, tent, temple, family. Yahshua, Himself, declared, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spake Yahshua unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7 Then said Yahshua unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13  The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep,” Jn. 10:1-15.

This was a parable. There are three key items in this parable that pertain to Yahshua, 1) The Door, 2) the Porter, and 3) the Shepherd. Didn’t He tell the Philadelphian Assembly that He had the Key of David so that He could open and no man can close, and He can close and no man can open? Doesn’t a key fit into the lock of a door? Doesn’t this make Him the Porter; the One Who opens and closes?

Yahshua is the Word of Yahweh (Dabar-Yahweh/hwhy-rbd). He is the Door to the head of the house, the tent, the temple, the family, which is the Father Yahweh. When the Word of Yahweh appeared to men of old, they knew that He was Yahweh. This means that Yahshua is Yahweh as much as the Father is Yahweh. But Yahshua, as the Word of Yahweh, is the One Who always appeared to people, and performed the marvelous works of old. The Father has always remained in the holy of holies of heaven. No one has ever seen His image, or heard His voice. Yahshua has always been the one to reveal Him ever so slightly at first, but when He descended from heaven to do the work of grace, salvation, redemption, atonement, etc., He revealed the Father in a capacity that no one had ever understood before. That capacity is the greatest love that has ever been known.

The book of Revelation also reveals Yahshua as the Word of Yahweh, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of Yahweh (hwhy-rbd). 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of El Shaddai. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS,” Rev. 19:11-16.

The Word of Yahweh is another honor, authority, character, name (shem/~v) that belongs to Yahshua. For those who can understand and receive this, let them understand it, receive it, and rejoice. For those who cannot understand and receive this, let them not understand, nor receive it.

  THE PIERCED ONE

Zechariah is inspired to write, “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn,” 12:10.

Who is able to pour out the spirit of grace and supplications? Isn’t it Yahweh? Yes! He is the only One! But what does it say? “They shall look upon ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED!”

How is the Spirit of Grace poured out? What act took place that caused the Holy Spirit to be poured out? Wasn’t it after Yahshua suffered, died, was resurrected, and ascended into heaven? Didn’t Yahweh pour the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Grace upon His disciples on the day of Pentecost? (Acts 2)

Psalms 22 is a Messianic psalm; a psalm about the Messiah and His suffering. It declares, “My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet,” vv. 15-16.

Yahshua is the One Who was crucified having his hands and feet pierced with nails (Mat. 27:35; Mk. 15:24; Lk. 23:33; Jn. 19:23). They also stabbed or pierced His side (Jn. 19:34). The Apostle John even refers to Zechariah concerning the piercing, “For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced,” Jn. 37:36-37.

The Apostle Thomas was not with the other disciples and had not seen the resurrected Messiah, therefore no matter who and how many told him that they had seen Him, he wouldn’t believe (Jn. 20:24-25). Later, Yahshua appeared again, “And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Yahshua, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing,” Jn. 20:26-27.

What did Thomas declare? “And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Master and my Elohim,” v. 28. Did Thomas blaspheme because he called Him his Elohim? The Pharisees certainly attempted to stone Yahshua a time or two when they accused Him of blaspheming because He made Himself equal to Elohim. (Jn. 5:18, 10:33)

The name Yahweh itself describes the piercing, believe it or not. The name Yahweh is hwhy in the Hebrew. The letters are also pictures. The first letter is the yod (y), which is a picture of a hand and arm (I in Pictorial Hebrew). The hei (h) means to reveal, behold, look! It looks like this (e) in Pictorial Hebrew. Doesn’t it look like someone who is trying to get other’s attention? The waw (w) is a nail, or tent peg in Pictorial Hebrew (f). Thus, we would get the idea of hand, behold, nail, behold, or behold the hand, behold the nail.

His name, before His human birth, was Yahweh, the Creator of all things! His own name declares His honor, authority, character. He is the One Who would be pierced! How does this name apply to the Father? Yahshua is His right hand and holy arm. Yahshua, the Father’s right hand and holy arm would be pierced!

For those who can understand and receive this, let  them understand, receive it, and rejoice! For those who can’t understand, and receive this, let them not understand, nor receive it.

YAHSHUA’S NAME

Israel was taken out of Egypt and placed in the land of Canaan so they could be a holy people, a kingdom of priests, “In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. 2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. 3 And Moses went up unto Elohim, and Yahweh called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel,” Ex. 19:1-6.

If they were to be a kingdom of priests, then this means that they were to rule as both kings and priests.

But Israel failed to live up to the standards set before them because they turned to be like the other nations around them and served their gods. Yahweh declared, “Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith Yahweh; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Israel was holiness unto Yahweh, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith Yahweh. 4 Hear ye the word of the Yahweh, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel: 5 Thus saith Yahweh, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? 6 Neither said they, Where is Yahweh that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. 8 The priests said not, Where is Yahweh? And they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. 9 Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith Yahweh, and with your children's children will I plead. 10 For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing. 11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith Yahweh. 13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water,” Jer. 2:1-13.

Again, it is declared, “O Yahweh, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahweh, the fountain of living waters,” Jer. 17:13.

The Psalmist declared, “Thy mercy, O Yahweh, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. 6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Yahweh, thou preservest man and beast. 7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O Elohim! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. 8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. 9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light,” Psa. 36:5-9.

Yahweh is the fountain of living waters, the fountain of life.

Yahshua began His ministry during a Passover season when He went to Jerusalem and cleansed the temple (Jn. 2:13-25).

After the Passover season, He and His disciples traveled back home, “Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Yahshua therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Yahshua saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Yahshua answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of Elohim, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12  Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Yahshua answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life,” Jn. 4:5-14.

The Greek word for “well” is pege, and also can be translated as fountain. Water is drawn from a well, but it springs from a fountain. The translators should have translated it as fountain. But here was Yahshua declaring that He was the fountain of living waters, and He had the power to cause others to receive everlasting life through that water, and that they also would become a fountain of living waters.

On the last great day of the feast of Tabernacles Yahshua stood up and proclaimed, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Yahshua was not yet glorified.),” Jn. 7:37-39.

Yahshua had to be lifted up and glorified before this living water (the Holy Spirit) could be received by anyone else.

After His crucifixion and resurrection, He ascended into heaven and on the day of Pentecost, He poured the Holy Spirit (living waters) upon His disciples and all who believed in Him, repented and were baptized in His saving name. (Acts 2 & 3)

Now, let’s look at His name in the Hebrew as the letters tell the story. Yahshua’s name in Hebrew is [vwhy. In the Pictorial Hebrew it is osfei. The yod (i) is a hand/arm, the hei (e) means to reveal, behold, look, etc., the waw (f) is a nail, or tent peg, the shin (s) is teeth, and the ayin (o) is an eye, well, or fountain. We eat and drink (consume) with and through our teeth. The meaning, therefore, is that once the nail has pierced the hand/arm (fei), we (the believers, and followers) can drink (shin/s) of the fountain (o) of living waters.

The name Yahshua means “the salvation of Yahweh,” or “Yahweh the Savior.”  This is the character, honor, authority, etc., associated with His name (shem/~v)! For those who can receive this, let them receive it and rejoice! For those who can’t receive this, let then not receive it, deny, and mourn!

THE COVENANT

Yahweh called Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness to make a covenant with them. That covenant was based on the ten commandments. Yahweh descended upon the mount and spoke the ten commandments to the people (Ex. 20). He later had Moses ascend the mount to receive the covenant written on tables of stone, “And Yahweh said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them,” Ex. 24:12.

These tables were also called tables of testimony or witness, “And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of Elohim,” Ex. 31:18.

When Moses descended from the mount with the tables of the testimony in his hands and saw what the children of Israel were doing, he cast the tables down and broke them, “And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount,” Ex. 32:19.

The Scriptures are written in types, parables, etc. This meant that the covenant had already been broken and would have to be renewed.

When Moses got everything back in order, Yahweh told him to make two more tables and to ascend the mount once again, “And Yahweh said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. 2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount. 3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. 4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone,” Ex. 34:1-4.

This time Moses hewed out the tables, and Yahweh again wrote on the tables of testimony (witness) with His own finger, “And he was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments,” Ex. 34:28.

Most people do not understand, or refuse to understand that Yahweh’s primary covenant is the ten commandments. This is confirmed in the book of Deuteronomy, “And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone,” Dt. 4:13. “And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Yahweh gave them unto me,” Dt. 10:4.

THE BROKEN COVENANT

The Psalmist declares, “My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness,” Psa. 119:172.

Moses told the Israelites, “When thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahweh our Elohim hath commanded you? 21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: 22 And Yahweh shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. 24 And Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our Elohim, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. 25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our Elohim, as he hath commanded us,” Dt. 6:20-25.

This is so true, but once the covenant was broken, it would have to be renewed, and it was renewed time, and time, and time again. All one has to do is read the books from judges to 2 Chronicles, as well as the prophets, to discover that Israel continually fell away during the period of the judges, and Yahweh would sell them to other peoples for correction until they would come to their senses. Then came the kings and while David and Solomon were two of the greatest kings, Solomon in all of his glory and greatness fell away to the worship of the gods of his wives and the story flow continues with a series of good kings and evil kings until Yahweh had to cast them out of the land for their disobedience.

Paul witnesses, “Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to Yahweh for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of Yahweh, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of Yahweh's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of Yahweh,” Ro. 10:1-3.

Israel made a covenant with Yahweh that they would obey and do all that Yahweh had commanded them (Ex. 19:7, 24:3-7). Yet, they failed to maintain their part of the covenant. Why!?

David and Job answer the riddle. David reveals, “Have mercy upon me, O Elohim, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me,” Psa. 51:1-5.

Job decrees, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. 2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. 3 And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee? 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one,” 14:1-4.

Isaiah is inspired to proclaim, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away,” Isa. 64:6.

This means that all of our own attempts to keep the commandments under our own strength and power, the strength and power of the flesh, is nothing more than filthy rags.

The Apostle Paul also reveals that there is a law of sin in the flesh, “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of Yahweh after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members,” Ro. 7:14-23.

We have no ability, of our own selves, to perfectly fulfill Yahweh’s covenant, His ten commandments. We who are unclean through sin in the flesh, have no ability to make ourselves clean. The Prophet Jeremiah declares, “Thus saith Yahweh; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from Yahweh. 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in Yahweh, and whose hope Yahweh is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jer. 17:9.

Only Yahweh has the power to cleanse us through the shed blood of His only begotten Son Yahshua the Messiah. Only Yahweh has the power to bring cleanness out of the unclean!

Paul reveals that even when we repent, are baptized in the saving name of Yahshua, and receive the Holy Spirit, we still have a struggle because of this law of sin in the flesh (Ro. 7, Gal. 5).

THE HELPLESSNESS OF THE TORAH

The book of Hebrews declares that the Torah was only a shadow, “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect,” Heb. 10:1.

Please note that the term “the law” would actually be translated from the Hebrew as HaTorah (that is Ha [the] – Torah [law]).

Paul writes, “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law (HaTorah), but by the faith of Yahshua the Messiah, even we have believed in Yahshua the Messiah, that we might be justified by the faith of the Messiah, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by the Messiah, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore the Messiah the minister of sin? Yahweh forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto Yahweh. 20 I am crucified with the Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but the Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of Elohim, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of Yahweh: for if righteousness come by the law, then the Messiah is dead in vain,” Gal. 2:16-21.

He continues to write, “Is the law  (HaTorah) then against the promises of Yahweh? Yahweh forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yahshua the Messiah might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto the Messiah, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of Elohim by faith in the Messiah Yahshua. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into the Messiah have put on the Messiah. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in the Messiah Yahshua. 29 And if ye be the Messiah's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise,” Gal. 3:21-29.

Furthermore, Moses placed the tables of testimony, the tables of the covenant inside the ark of the covenant, and then put the mercy seat over it, “And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: 21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as Yahweh commanded Moses,” Ex. 40-20-21…. “At that time Yahweh said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. 2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark. 3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Yahweh gave them unto me. 5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as Yahweh commanded me,” Dt. 10:1-5.

The law, the Torah was given to reveal to us our own helplessness in fulfilling the law, the Torah, which would, in turn, lead us to One greater than ourselves, the Messiah, “For the Messiah is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth,” Ro. 10:4.

THE NEW COVENANT

Paul warns, “Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband,” Gal. 4:21-27.

Do you not understand? There are two covenants! There is the covenant of Moses, and there is the covenant of Yahshua! The covenant of Moses was doomed to failure no matter how many times it may have been renewed because it was based on two promises, Yahweh’s, Who is faithful, and man’s, who is always unfaithful.

What does Yahweh declare concerning the New Covenant? “Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith Yahweh: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more,” Jer. 31:31-34.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 is repeated in the book of Hebrews to show that the covenant of Moses failed because of them (Israel), “But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,” Heb. 8:6-8.

You see, Moses placed the tables of the covenant, the tables with the ten commandments written upon them, into the ark of the covenant, covering it with the mercy seat to reveal to us that the only One Who had power over the law was Yahweh Himself. The mercy seat was placed over the tables because Yahweh would have to administer mercy to His people above all because He knew that they would fail.

Paul reveals, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before Yahweh. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of Yahweh without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of Yahweh which is by faith of Yahshua the Messiah unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Yahweh; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in the Messiah Yahshua: 25 Whom Yahweh hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Yahshua,” Ro. 3:19-26.

He also records, “And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of the Messiah; 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Yahshua the Messiah, unto the glory and praise of God,” Phil. 1:9-11.

Again, he writes, “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Master. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3 For we are the circumcision, which worship Yahweh in the spirit, and rejoice in the Messiah Yahshua, and have no confidence in the flesh. 4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for the Messiah. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yahshua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of the Messiah, the righteousness which is of Yahweh by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead,” Phil. 3:1-11.

In Titus we read, “For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of Yahweh our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Yahshua the Messiah our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life,” Titus 3:3-7.

MY NEW NAME

So now, having all these facts put together, what is Yahshua’s new name? Jeremiah reveals it, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Yahweh. 2 Therefore thus saith Adonai Yahweh of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Yahweh. 3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith Yahweh. 5 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. 7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that they shall no more say, Yahweh liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 8 But, Yahweh liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land,” Jer. 23:1-8.

The name here in the Hebrew is YAHWEH TSIDQENUW!

Yahshua is the One Who wrote the commandments on the tables of stone with His own finger! He is the One Who gave these righteous commandments to Moses and Israel! But the record shows that Israel was not faithful, therefore Yahweh, Himself, will write His laws on our hearts and minds through Yahshua and the Holy Spirit that is given by Him.

Ezekiel witnesses that the whole house of Israel, both Judah and Israel will be resurrected from their graves sometime in the future. Yahweh will then make His own Spirit available to them and they will then walk in accordance with His word. This is found in Ezekiel chapter 37. These all died not knowing Yahshua or Who He was, is, and will be. They thought that they had lost out on their inheritance (v.11). But Yahweh is faithful to His word that He promised to the fathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Israel.

Yahshua’s new name that He will be known by is YAHWEH TSIDKENUW, Yahweh our righteousness!

This will also be the name of the city of Jerusalem, “Moreover the word of Yahweh came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying, 2 Thus saith Yahweh the maker thereof, Yahweh that formed it, to establish it; Yawheh is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. 4 For thus saith Yawheh, the Elohim of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; 5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. 6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. 8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. 9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. 10 Thus saith Yahweh; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, 11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise Yahweh of hosts: for Yahweh is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of Yawheh. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith Yahweh. 12 Thus saith Yahweh of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. 13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith Yahweh. 14 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. 15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, Yahweh our righteousness,” Jer. 33:1-16.

  That is Yahweh Tsidqenuw!

This is Yahshua’s new name, His new authority, character, and honor!

You see, in Genesis chapter one, only the Hebrew word Elohim is utilized, but Yahweh Elohim appears in chapter two. He is spoken of as Yahweh El-Elyon in Gen. 14:22. He is revealed as Dabar-Yahweh (the Word of Yahweh) in Gen. 15:1. In Genesis 15:8 he is addressed as Adonai Yahweh by Abram. In Genesis 16:7 He is Malak Yahweh (the Angel of Yahweh). In Genesis 21:33 He is revealed as Yahweh El Olam. In Genesis 22:14 He becomes Yahweh Yireh (Yahweh Who Provides). In Gen. 24:48 He is Eth-Yahweh Elohi. The Eth, has to do with the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet, the Aleph (a), and Tau (t). In Ex. 15:3 He is called Yahweh Iysh Milchamah (Yahweh a man of war). In Ex. 15:26 He is revealed as Yahweh Rapha (Yahweh Who Heals). In Ex. 17:15 He is revealed as Yahweh Nissi (Yahweh my Banner). He is Yahweh Sabaoth (Yahweh of Hosts), He became Yahshua (Yahweh our Savior). There are many more titles that go with His wondrous name.

All praise be to Him and our wondrous Father! Let him who can receive this, receive it and rejoice, and he who can’t receive it, receive it not.
