Illegal immigration has been a very hot topic on the newswires of late. Recently, I was sent an email, which contained pictures of the day of protest that took place around the first of May by the illegal immigrants. The signs utilized in their marches around the country said it all. They are proclaiming that they are the only indigenous peoples in the Americas. The white Europeans are the true illegal immigrants. They are even going so far as to say that smallpox was utilized as a weapon by the white Europeans, purposely, in order to decimate the population of the red men. The truth of the matter is that, while it may have been utilized as a weapon against the indigenous people of America, the Only One Who would have had the intelligence to utilize that weapon in order to clear the way for colonization was the Creator and Elohim of those people, Yahweh. (Even though they may have been ignorant of His name, they were also ignorant as to how to utilize a biological weapon of mass destruction at that time.)

Interestingly, the focus is only on the struggle for domination of North America. This is coming from a people who frankly, have never inhabited North America since well before the entrance of the white Europeans (Israel, by the way). The people who are now seeking to take over and push the white Europeans out of North America are indigenous to Central and South America. The Spaniards were the ones who forced their way into Central and South America (Except for Brazil, which was deemed a Portuguese possession by none other than the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.) I have read how the Spanish invaded the land of the Inca and Aztec, of course, seeking for gold, but decimated the populations by force of arms. Those who remained were not only enslaved, but forcefully converted to Roman Catholicism.

Yes, there were atrocities committed by the North American whites. But there were also atrocities committed by the red men (Indians). Do you remember the story of Israel? The Canaanites were already dwelling in the land, but their practices were not only idolatrous, but exceedingly immoral. Some of the Canaanites had appearances similar to those of the American Indians, specifically, the Philistines and the Sidonians. The Sidonians were called the Phoenicians by the Greeks which means purple or “red” men. The Sidonians were the inhabitants of Tyre from whence came Jezebel who married Ahab, king of Israel, and promoted the religion/faith of Baal in Israel. The Sidonians were great seamen of old. They ventured into areas of the world where few, if any, would follow. There seems to be a link to the American Indians and the Sidonians, which has been lost or forgotten by the world during the dark ages.

But the story goes deeper than this. I have just quite recently received an email from a man who goes by the name Maggid Ben Yosef. Actually, his name given him by his parents is Dell Griffin. He seeks to be a commandment keeper, but refuses to go by the name given him by his parents. Does this have anything to do with the fifth commandment? Hmmm…. Anyway, Dell has written a short article entitled Whose America? He writes, “Ancient ruling spirit gave land claimed during migrations to descendants of Hopi Xicano (Chi=Xi=Red, cano=People) returning to the American Southwest have permission from the ruling spirit of this land, according to prophesies of the Hopi that predate anything 'American' by about a millenium.

Hopi tablets record the command of Ma'asau, variously called the Guardian, Protector and Caretaker. Ma'asau told the Hopi essentially the same thing that the God of Israel told Abraham. "Everywhere the soles of your feet tread will be yours for a possession."  Advised by Ma'asau, the Hopi divided into clans and embarked on 16 migrations, four toward the glaciers, four toward the Atlantic and Pacific and four as far south as they could go. Everywhere they traveled, the Hopi clans were directed to leave "migration marks," showing the number of the circuit and the direction plus a symbol representing the clan.  But always, they were to be mindful to return.

Hundreds of such rock and cave drawings exist throughout the Americas, with the greatest concentration in the American Southwest. But just as Abraham's descendants did not have ownership of the land of Canaan until some 470 years after he began his sojourns, Ma'asau stipulated that the Hopi claim to the land they would stake was for the Last Days when all of the clans had returned to Aztlan (the Homeland).

A 'great' assimilated people

In a massive wave, the Xicano people are fulfilling the last migrations back to the Hopi Homeland. Legally, morally and spiritually, these migration marks -- with never more than four concentric circles in a spiral -- represent the Hopi-Xicano claim to not just the American Southwest, but to all of the U.S.A. The petroglyphs also appear in Mexico, Central America and South America. Save Canada, all of North America is staked with the evidence of the Hopi methodically and faithfully carrying out Ma'asau's directive.

For the past 2000 years, the command of Ma'asau has been not to get too comfortable in one place. Even a clan that remained in the South Country, which most believe became the Aztec people, coined the name Aztlan as the Homeland in the north that their descendants must never forget.  If this latest wave from the South fulfills the migrations, there will exist grounds for legal, moral and spiritual challenges to the very sovereignty of the U.S.

PERSONAL NOTE:  Spiritual princes over geographic regions have biblical precedent. Ma'asau's direction and guidance have continued for more than a millenium, proven by the ensign raised for the movement, AZTLAN.  That any vision would endure over a millenium or more attests to the reality of the Return to Aztlan in the soul of the Xicano. It also marks the Xicano as a great people.  The prince of such an 'ohmmm gah-dohl (great people) is well able to carry out the Creator's plan. Any government -- which is considered the people in America -- should think twice and pray before opposing the Xicano return on any claim of sovereignty.  The Sovereignty for this movement is from Above as pre-supposed because of who the Xicano are.” (End of article)

In another article on his web-site, he relates that many of the Xicanos have a double Y chromosome linking them in DNA with the Levitical priesthood.

I responded to his articles, “Shalom Dell Griffin,

I call you by that name, because that is your name given by your parents. If you are a commandment keeper, as you claim, then you will honor your father and mother by utilizing the name given through them.

I know that you study quite deeply in order to come to truth, but in reading your dissertation concerning the Chicanos, I think you are stretching things quite greatly. It is interesting that you are taking sides with and honoring a spirit of a people, which you are trying to establish as Hebrew.

Here is what I see just from part of your message. Remember that there were two brothers in Scripture? Remember that one was "red" being called Edom, but given the name Esau? Since Xicano = “Red” People and their spirit is Ma'asau, what does that tell you? It tells me that they are the spiritual descendants of Esau, following the spirit of Esau.

Esau has been dispersed throughout the earth just as has Jacob. Esau hated Jacob and vowed to slay him. This vow has been delayed until the last days (if you have a proper understanding of Scripture), specifically until the times of Jacob's troubles.

Even if these people are priests, their priesthood is the priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church, which is the priesthood of Esau (Rome, in Rabbinic literature). If you will remember, the "Red" men sold their birthright to Jacob. Esau/Edom, the “red” man, sold his birthright for a bowl of red lentils. The American "red" men sold their birthright for about $24.00 worth of trinkets and blankets, specifically Manhattan Island, which was the cornerstone of the foundation of this country.

You are aiding and abetting Esau, Dell. Wake up and smell the coffee.

The question is, when did we begin to have problems with this illegal immigration? It was during the Reagan administration. Remember that they extended amnesty to about two million illegals through a bill which also promised to strengthen border security. Today, we are facing another amnesty bill for about 12 to 20 million.

But think back. What event occurred before the Reagan Administration? Didn’t President Jimmy Carter give the Panama Canal, a U.S. built canal through U.S. money and lives, to the Panamanians? This was, of course, after the 99 year lease that the U.S. had with the Panamanians, but we had the legal right to make another contract for the canal. The Panamanians, in turn, leased it to our enemies, the Communist Chinese. It is no secret that the Communist have been at war with the U.S. for quite some time. Their aim is to either convert or destroy us.

Believe it or not, the Communist doctrine is a doctrine promoted by the spirit of Esau. They love that delicious “red” spiritual food fed to them by descendants of Jacob. (Marx and Engels were Jewish.)

The Communist doctrine is a result of Humanism. Humanism teaches that man is quite able to work out and solve his problems on his own, without any supernatural intervention, thank you.

The only ones who are standing in the way of Communism is the white European Christian, especially, the United States.

The Communists, headed by the Spirit of Satan, have been working hard to weaken the spirit and resolve of the U.S. They have been employing many tools of the trade, so to speak, to cause us to tire and just cave in to their demands.

Today, they are utilizing professors in our universities. They are utilizing various civil rights movements. They are even utilizing the Muslim insurgency. You see, the spirit of the Muslims is the spirit of Ishmael, who hated Isaac. Esau took a wife from Ishmael and both work together in seething hatred for Jacob.

Now, they are utilizing the Xicanos by sending them across our borders with the intent to take back the birthright that they sold to Jacob. That is what the whole struggle is in these latter days, believe it or not.

Ishmael wants to take the birthright away from Isaac. Esau wants to take the birthright away from Jacob. Satan, of course, wants to take the glory, esteem and honor from Yahweh.

Isaiah speaks of the enemy coming in like a flood (Isa. 59:19). Joel speaks of armies of palmerworms, locusts, cankerworms and caterpillars coming in to eat up all of the increase of the land. These armies are likened to a nation that is strong and without number that will come against Israel in the last days.

How can we avert this? Turn to Yahweh and His word of truth, declare fasts and pray for Yahweh’s deliverance.

    What is holy ground? How is the ground made holy? Who, or what is holy? If we are to be holy, how has this come about? What do we make holy? All of the questions are answered in this thoughtfully researched and well written article.     By Dave Ganton

    The original scriptures were not inspired to be written in our English. They were originally inspired in the Hebrew tongue. What we have today are translations from the original through other languages to English. Quite often, in this process with the purest of intentions, translators add or change words in an attempt to make the meaning clearer. Sometimes this changes or clouds the true meaning intended by Yahweh. However, Yahweh is wise beyond our understanding and when He wishes to teach us something from His word, there is no obstacle to prevent Him doing so. There are many bible study aids at our disposal today to help us get closer to the original language of the scriptures.

       In this study we will examine one of these scriptures. It is found in the book of Leviticus and repeated by Peter in his first letter to the exiles in the dispersion. As we read it in the King James and some other versions, it appears to be a command. If it is truly a command then it is one we cannot obey.

      In the various denominations it is understood in this way and usually passed over with little or no thought given to it’s real meaning. Let us not be guilty of taking any of Yahweh’s inspired word lightly, as we are told to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of Yahweh. Deut. 8:3  As with all of the words of Yahweh, the scripture we are about to examine holds a wealth of information when understood in it’s proper light. It will reveal to us more clearly who and what we are and why.

       Let us turn now to Lev. 11: 44-45. In verse 45 is Yahweh telling the Israelites to sanctify or purify themselves and then they will be Holy as He is Holy? This is what it is understood to say by the majority. Is this even possible? Can a person make himself or herself holy?

       Is Yahweh, instead, making a statement of fact that the Israelites never did fully grasp? The subject of this scripture was crucial to their relationship with Yahweh and it is crucial to our relationship with Him as well. It is also crucial to our relationship with our fellow man.

      Peter repeats this scripture in 1 Peter 1:16, and as it appears in the King James Version it is a command to be Holy because Yahweh is Holy.

      Is it possible to obey a command such as this? Can anything we do make us holy? Does keeping the Sabbath make us holy? Does obeying all of the Ten Commandments make us holy? The answer, of course, is no. Mankind does not have the power to make anything holy. Mankind does not have the power to be holy.

  SEARCHING THE MATTER

       As we search for true understanding let us examine some other scriptures that will begin to shed light on this subject. In Ex. 19:6 Yahweh is telling the Israelites that they are a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Were they holy because they were such wonderful, good living people? History proves that they were not. This being the case then, what made them holy? Yahweh does not lie.

      In 1 Peter 2:9 we are told the same thing, that we are a royal priesthood and a holy nation.

      The same question applies to us. How did this holiness come about? Is it because we are such pious good living people? In 1 Cor. 1 26-31 Paul tells us that this was not and is not the case.

      Many scriptures speak about the holiness of Yahweh. Let’s look at a couple as we strive to understand our relationship with Yahweh and Yahshua.

       Eph. 1:3-4 tells us that we were chosen before the world was even made to be holy and blameless before Yahweh. Since we had not yet lived, how could Yahweh be sure that we would be holy?

       Paul tells us in Col. 1:21-22 that even though we were once hostile to Yahweh, Yahshua will present us to Him in a holy blameless state. The fact that Yahweh’s people are holy is inescapable. Many scriptures confirm this fact.

       There can be no doubt that the Israelites were a holy nation, different from the nations around them. There can be no doubt that we, in the new covenant era, are also a holy nation, different from the world around us.

  WHENCE COMES HOLINESS?

  It is time now to understand where this holy state we are in originates.

       In Ex.3:1-6 we will find a story that we are all familiar with, the story of Moses and the burning bush. Yahweh told Moses to remove his shoes because he was standing on holy ground. It was dirt, rocks and brush on the side of a mountain. What made it holy?  Sheep still pasture there today. Is it still holy ground? The answer is of course NO.

       It was holy at the time of Moses because of Yahweh’s presence. Yahweh is holy and His presence ensures the holiness of the surroundings that He is in. Let’s understand that fully. Yahweh is holy and His presence ensures the holiness of His surroundings. In Ex.19:9-13 we find a similar case. The Israelites were not allowed to come near to touch the mountain because it was holy ground. Mt. Sinai is still in the same place today. People climb it and pasture its lower slopes. It is not holy ground today. It was holy then because of Yahweh’s presence. Yahweh’s presence ensures the holiness of His surroundings.

        At this point let’s examine the two scriptures that we read at the beginning. They reveal information that is crucial to our relationship to Yahweh. They will also help us understand our responsibility to our fellow man in our daily lives.

        One important thing to note in Lev:11:44-45 is that there is no and in Hebrew and no equivalent of it. And has been added to the English text in an attempt to make the meaning clearer. Sometimes this works, but at other times it only clouds the intended meaning. That is the case with this scripture.

        In verse 44 Yahweh tells the people to refrain from touching any of the unclean things mentioned in the previous scriptures. By obeying His command they would remain clean or pure of uncleanness. As it reads with the and in place it seems to say they would be holy (Hebrew, Qadosh)  because of this purification. This is not the case. Let’s investigate what is actually being said by Yahweh. He tells them to sanctify themselves. This word sanctify is from the Hebrew  Qadash. There is a lot of confusion as to the correct meaning of the English word sanctify. However the Hebrew meaning is much clearer. It means to dedicate, separate, and prepare.

       Yahweh is telling the Israelites not to touch any of these unclean things, which would serve to defile them. They were no longer a common or unclean people. He says to be separate from these things. They were to dedicate themselves to Him and prepare to be in His holy presence. The Hebrew Qadash means all of these things. Yahweh is telling them that because He is holy Qadosh they are also holy because of His presence among them and must refrain from all unholy actions and affiliations. Yahweh’s presence among them made them holy Qadosh.  His presence ensures the holiness of His surroundings. He lived among the Israelites. They were a holy nation as a result of this. They were holy because He is holy.

         In 1 Peter 1:15-16 Peter is repeating to us what Yahweh told the Israelites. He is telling us to refrain from all unholy conduct because the one who called us is holy, and as a result, we are also holy, not by our doing but by Yahweh’s doing. Verse 16 in the King James appears to be a command to be holy. We understand that we, on our own, can not cause holiness. Holiness comes from Yahweh so this scripture must be a statement of fact rather than a command.

  OUR HOLINESS

     In the Zondervan literal Greek to English verse 16 reads; Holy you are because holy I am. This is not a command but a statement of a condition we are in because of the holiness of Yahweh. How did this condition come about?

        Yahshua said in John 14:23 that He and our Heavenly Father would come and make their home with us. The two holiest beings in the universe are living with us. But they are doing more than just living among us as they did the Israelites. Their relationship with us is much more personal and intimate than it was with the Israelites.

        Paul tells us that the life he lives is no longer his life but the life of Yahshua the Messiah who lives in him. Gal.2:20 How did this happen? It is crucial that we understand this.

      Paul tells us in Rom. 8:9-11 that not only Yahshua lives in us but that the Father also lives in us. They live in us through the Holy Spirit. They have made their home with us just as Yahshua promised. More than that, they have made their home within us. This happened after our immersion into the name of Yahshua Messiah when we received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 In Rom. 11:16 Yahshua is represented as the dough offered as the first fruit.

Paul tells us that if the first fruit is holy the whole lump is holy. Paul goes on to say that if the root is holy so are the branches. The whole lump and the branches are we, Yahshua’s true disciples, His assembly.

        Something to keep in mind here is that the lump is holy because of the first fruit offered, Yahshua. The branches are holy because of the root Yahshua. This will never change. Yahweh and Yahshua are the source of all holiness.

  THE TEMPLE

       We are a temple, Eph. 2:19-22. We as the temple are built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets with Yahshua as the chief cornerstone. Together we are all built into a holy temple as a dwelling place for Elohim through the Holy Spirit. THIS TEMPLE IS HOLY GROUND. Let me repeat that. THIS TEMPLE IS HOLY GROUND

        In 1 Cor. 6:19-20 we are told again that we are temples of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh and Yahshua. Paul reminds us that our actions should bring praise and glory to them. We are holy because of their presence within us. Their presence ensures the holiness of their surroundings. Our thoughts and actions must reflect that holiness. This is a concept that the Israelites never did grasp but we must understand it fully. Our relationship with Yahweh and Yahshua depend on it.

         Yahshua tells us in Matt. 5:14-16 that we are the light of the world. We are to illuminate the spiritual darkness of this world with the aim of bringing praise and glory to Yahweh and Yahshua. What is the source of this light? Is it from us?

          1 John 1:5 and John 1:6-9 tell us that Yahweh and Yahshua are the true light that shines in the darkness. Darkness cannot be where light is. Light overcomes the darkness and reveals what the dark was hiding. That light that comes from them is their great holiness.

      We are the light of the world. The light that emanates from us is that of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh and Yahshua. It is the light of their holiness that shines from us. It is their light that we reflect to others. Yahweh and Yahshua illuminate us and we reflect that light to the world. We must always remember that this light that we reflect is not our own. This light and this holiness comes from Yahweh and Yahshua.

        This light is not a harsh blinding light. It is a soft warm glow that should attract others to it. Yahweh and Yahshua are loving, kind and gentle and this is what we are to reflect to those we encounter in our daily lives.

        We are holy because Yahweh is holy and dwells within us. Yahweh’s holiness ensures the holiness of His surroundings. The Israelites did not reflect the holiness of Yahweh. Our thoughts and actions must. We are holy because Yahweh is holy. We carry holiness with us everywhere we go, to the workplace, shopping, school and anywhere else we may go. We are holy ground, sacred space. We are Yahweh’s Temple! Yahweh’s temple is holy ground. Yahweh is within this holy temple. Yahshua is within this holy temple. This temple is holy because they are holy.

        There is no place within us for uncleanness or evil. We are filled with the glorious light of the holiness of Yahweh and Yahshua. Let us reflect that holy light to those we encounter throughout our lives. We are holy because Yahweh is Holy. Let us prove it by the purity of our lives. HALLELUYAH.

What is the Mystery of Iniquity that Paul writes about in 2 Thessalonians? If it is a mystery, then it must be revealed! This article will reveal and declare just what this “Mystery of Iniquity” really is.   By Brick Parrish

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (2Th 2:7) 

What exactly is this “Mystery of Iniquity”?  Let’s dissect these words and see if we can reach some sort of conclusion. The word translated “mystery” is the Greek word musterion, (Strongs # 3466) and is from a derivative of μύω muō (to shut the mouth). Thayer’s Greek definitions give the meaning as “a hidden or secret thing, not obvious to the understanding”.

The second word we will explore is the word “Iniquity”. This word is from the Greek word “anomia” (Strongs #458) and means a “violation of law”. “Anomia” comes from the Greek word "nomos" (Strongs #3551) which is translated "Law" nearly 200 times in the New Testament, almost without exception speaking of the Law of Moses in the "Old Testament.

So, this tells us that the mystery of iniquity is the  “Mystery of Lawlessness” or the “Mystery of Torahlessness”.  John tells us in 1 John 3:4, that the very definition of sin is the transgression of the law (torah). This puts things into a little more serious light, doesn’t it?

Most Christians, when they read these verses have a tendency to gloss over them without really understanding what they are saying. They naturally assume it is not something they are guilty of or even have to worry about. But, is this true?

Yahshua warned us in his very first recorded Sermon on the Mount about this. Mat 5:17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Fulfill does not mean to abolish or do away with. Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Are all things fulfilled now? Of course not! There are still many things that have yet to occur and besides, heaven and earth are still here. But, the main reason Yahshua cited the phrase “heaven and earth” is because Israel was warned 3 times in Deuteronomy that heaven and earth were called to witness against them what would happen if they did not keep the law (Deut. 4:26-27; 30:10-19; 31:26-29). In each instance, it is referring to keeping the Commandments of Yahweh, the law. The punishment for violating them was to be exiled from the land and be scattered into all the world (Deut. 4:27).

FALSE PROPHET’S MESSAGE

There are some serious implications to what Yahshua said. If the law is abolished as is commonly preached, then Yahshua lied. This would disqualify him from being the Messiah and we would still be in our sins. Thankfully for us, he did not lie. Yahshua warned us several more times that there would be false prophets arise who would teach that the law was abolished. Mat 24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Here is that word “iniquity” (anomia) again which could be translated “lawlessness”. Yahweh doesn’t give a hoot about man’s laws; what He is talking about here are His laws.

In Revelation 2 :14-15, Yahshua says he hates the doctrines of  Balaam and the Nicolaitanes. Their doctrines were similar and from a careful reading of the story of Balaam, we find that the doctrine of Balaam was what he told Balak to do to get Israel to sin. That was to get Israel to ignore the teachings of Moses and the prophets, or in other words, to violate the law or Torah  (Numbers 31:16).  Since Yahweh had not allowed him to curse Israel, he revealed to Balak how to get Israel to bring a curse upon themselves.

Peter also warned of false prophets and shepherds that would contradict The Messiah and bring upon themselves destruction. And many would follow their pernicious ways, which would cause the way of truth to be blasphemed. Remember, the Torah is truth. (Psa. 119:142). They have forsaken the right way and are gone astray following the way of Balaam (2 Pet. 1-15). Also read Jude 4-13. The word translated “deny” can also be translated “contradict” and makes more sense here. He said the law would never pass away, they say it did.

You see this attitude with many Christians who regard only the New Testament as pertinent to them today. They follow after the doctrine of Balaam and disregard the laws and commandments of Yahweh, His Torah.

You think not, dear Christian? Do you keep the Sabbath? Do you keep the Feasts of Yahweh? Do you eat things Yahweh has declared unclean? Do you eat meat that still has the blood in it? These are all part of Yahweh’s commandments, which have never been rescinded and are in fact, eternal.

In short, this is the mystery of iniquity. It is the idea that is taught in most churches that the Torah is no longer binding upon us and we are free to do as we please because we are now under grace. They have not heeded Peter’s warning in 2 Pet. 3:16, that some of Paul’s letters were hard to understand which unlearned men would twist to their own destruction. They don’t understand that “to be under the law” is to be relying upon the law to save you. All of us have broken the law and therefore need the Grace of Yahweh to be saved. That is why he sent Yahshua.

DETECTING FALSE PROPHETS

Let’s look into one more thing Yahshua said that should rivet our attention. Of course, many have read through the next few verses and have assumed it is talking about someone else. My comments are in bold letters. Mat 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. They will look like the sheep. They are called “chaff” in Jer. 23:28 as opposed to the wheat (true servants of Yahweh).

Mat 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? This is exactly how you will know them. Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  Mat 7:18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Their fruit is false doctrine.  Mat 7:19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. They (the chaff) have cast away the law (Isa.5:24; Hos. 4:6; Luke 3:17) Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

They teach that the law (Torah) was done away with and it is no longer necessary to keep all of Yahweh’s commandments. You can just pick and choose which ones to obey, cafeteria style.

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Yes, they will call him Lord, Lord (Baal), same as today. The one who will enter into the kingdom is the one who does the will of Yahweh. What is Yahweh’s will? It is revealed in the Torah (law), which they claim no longer applies to us today. Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

We built big crystal cathedrals and super churches, we even said “Yea, thus saith the Lord….” and we even cast out demons in your name ( a lie since they almost never use the name of Yahshua). We did all these wonderful things just for you. Not withstanding, they seldom took the time to find out what his name is, much less proclaim it to the flock. Or they just didn’t think it was that important.

Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Very sad. There is the same word “iniquity” (anomia) again. Yahshua professes to them that he NEVER knew them that work Torahlessness.

THE NARROW WAY

Yahshua also said in Matt. 7:13-14 to enter in at the strait gate. This is the narrow way that leads to life and sadly, only a few will find it. The broad gate is the easy way. It is the path that most are on. It is the one that leads to destruction.  The path of most Christians cannot be the path that only a few find.

We see in Revelation 14:12: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yahshua.

They not only have the testimony of Yahshua, but they ALSO keep the commandments of Yahweh (Sabbath, Feast days, Clean Food laws, etc.).

And again in Revelation 22:14-15: Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The lie is also the Mystery of Iniquity, which is now being exposed. Most will not accept this message because they do not have a love for the truth. Therefore, Yahweh will send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie (2 Thess. 2:10-11). He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that all repent of their evil ways. (Eze. 33:12)

Won’t you turn to Him today and begin to obey and be a doer of the word and not just a hearer? His are the words of eternal life.

There is an interesting phenomenon that is readily observable when we study the word “faith” and look for references in the TaNaK (Torah/Law, Nebi’im/Prophets, and Kethubim/Writings). Surprisingly the word faith [itself] is used only twice, whereas in the Messianic Scriptures (The New Testament) it has widespread usage.

In the Hebrew language and mindset, “faith” was directly related to “truth,” “truthfulness,” and “trustworthiness.” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Hebrew Lexicon - #529, #530) So in their culture and usage that dual relationship was their normal mindset. In my experience, most people who talk about “faith” today, DO NOT equate the word “faith” directly with “truth” at all. Modern “faith,” often somewhat ‘mystical,’ is understood as an act or work of faith that is based on human choice and understanding.

  In the past, I have made a very clear distinction between natural and supernatural, flesh and spirit. When this distinction is ignored, the definition of [many] words can get very confusing. What I specifically mean regarding “faith” is: “human faith” does not equal “spiritual faith” (supernatural faith). And that is the topic I wish to share in this article.

  The writer of Hebrews says faith is: “…the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb. 11:1). Okay…we’ve heard that many times…BUT what does that mean to you and me? How do I apprehend simple “faith,” and where does “faith” come from? And again, in my experience, English speaking people DO NOT make the Hebrew language connection of: “faith/truth, truthfulness, trustworthiness”… is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Therefore, a quick thought when we hear “faith” comes from our personal experience, knowledge, and understanding…which is “usually” based on a definition involving something we “do” or “have.” But “true faith” is based on things that are NOT seen. The Talmud offers a wise insight into “what we see:” “We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are.” So how we “see”…or how we “think” about “faith” plays a big part in our talk and walk.

  In our daily life, faith must have a down-to-earth connection/foundation in order to be useful. It cannot be so “super-spiritual” that it flies around up in the clouds somewhere…but never lands! It must be readily available or we completely miss the point! And faith cannot be based on human understanding and choice ONLY…or else it would be a “human work,” and we know “works” cannot earn the Spirit! And faith cannot focus on itself; faith must recognize the “source.” That identifies “true faith.”

  Here is the key that I wish to share. “Faith”…true faith…is a “fruit of the Spirit.” (Gal. 5:22-23) Ponder that a moment. In the Hebrew culture and mind…faith = faithfulness = truth = truthfulness = trustworthiness. If faith is a “fruit of the Spirit” like Gal. 5:22-23 says…then only the Spirit can produce it! So “human faith” does not equal “spirit faith.” Man cannot produce “true faith”…only the Spirit of Yahweh (Our) Elohim can. Now we have the “Source” identified correctly.

  While this may be hard for the human mind to accept…we must carefully consider if it is the “TRUTH.” We know that Yeshua is the “TRUTH”…John 14:6. We have just learned that in the Hebrew culture and mindset…faith = truth. Since they are connected, then “true faith” must be a product founded in the ”truth,” i.e. originating from Yeshua the Messiah, and must be a product of the Spirit, which can never be separated from Yeshua!

  Stated another way…if you don’t have the “true Yeshua,” if you don’t have the “true Spirit of Yahweh,” then you can’t be producing “fruit of the Spirit” – (one of which is “faith”)! It would be a logical impossibility to think otherwise!

  Paul taught the same message in his letter to the Galatians. (Ref.” Gal. 2:20) “…and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of Elohim…” He plainly stated it was Yeshua”s faith he [Paul] lived by! The power and ability and presence of the Spirit produced the “faith” in Paul…i.e., the “fruit of the Spirit”…empowering him to walk in the truth…i.e., walk in the Messiah! HalleluYah! And the same process applies to us! Without the Spirit, without Yeshua, we are powerless to produce “fruit of the Spirit”…and that includes “true faith!” Therefore, if the Spirit of Life/Spirit of Truth is not in us…we are not producing “spiritual fruit,” i.e., “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.” (Gal. 5:22-23) Fruit bearing is always connected to the manifestation of a personal relationship, i.e., “being in,” Yeshua HaMashiach. (Ref.: Jn. 15:1-5)

  Consider the scripture…”faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Yahweh Elohim” for a moment.(Romans 10:17) In the Hebrew mindset…”faith,” i.e., truth, i.e. fruit of the Spirit,” comes from “hearing, i.e., hearing, understanding, and obeying,” and “hearing, understanding, and obeying” [comes] by the Word of Yahweh, i.e., by Yeshua. This kind of “faith” DOES NOT come from the mind of man! If your mind explains it differently…then you need to dec8ide exactly what…and Who…the TRUTH is! (And that decision is strictly between you and the Truth/Yeshua!)

  In conclusion…this message is honestly intended to encourage everyone to think about the “source” for their “faith.” If it comes from the mind of man/woman ONLY…and in ONLY “human faith”…apart from Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit)…we “might be” deceiving ourselves! We all need “true faith”…”fruit of the Holy Spirit.” Amen.

Hello, Mr. Jerry Healan,

A friend gave me one of your magazines, Yahshua’s Witness Magazine, Jan.-Feb. 05. I am studying Wicca at this time, and some things you say are very close to our teachings, so I have a question for you. In some places you use a different alphabet. Is it Greek or Hebrew? What I am asking is could you please send me a copy of this alphabet, if you don’t mind?

Sir, there is one other question, if you please. Preachers all over say magic is of evil, Satan. Then why did Jesus, and Moses use it to their advantages? To feed the masses, staff into a snake, part the Red Sea, and so forth. I ask you this sir, because as I said, some things are very close to Wicca. Thought you may give a straighter answer than some others. Thanks for your time.

Thanks so much for your inquiry. The seemingly odd alphabet that we generally like to utilize is termed the “Paleo Hebrew Alphabet.” As far as we can tell, it is the most ancient alphabet that was utilized by the Hebrews in the days of Moses until Judah was carried into captivity in Babylon. While in Babylon, the Jews began to utilize what is called the Babylonian Script, of which modern Hebrew is a derivative.

As for “wicca,” I have researched the term out in times past and have found that it is associated with witchcraft, paganism and heathenism. As a matter of fact, the term “wicked” comes from the word “wicca.” I have visited several sites on the internet which speak of and introduce the religion of “wicca.” It is made to appear harmless, but it is anti-Scriptural and against what Yahweh and Yahshua stand for.

Magic is practiced by witches, sorcerers, wizards, etc. What Moses and Yahshua employed were the supernatural powers of the Creator Yahweh, not magic, sorcery or wizardry. I am sending you an article entitled “The Rod of Moses.” Hopefully, it will explain the significance of the rod to you. We are also sending you a copy of our latest newsletter, which has the Paleo Hebrew Alphabet in it.

Yahweh commanded Israel to not suffer a witch to live, nor sorcers, enchanters, etc., “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live,” Ex. 22:18. “When thou art come into the land which Yahweh they Elohim giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto Yahweh: and because of these abominations Yahweh thy Elohim doth drive them out from before thee, Dt. 18:9-12.

In the New Testament the Apostle Paul has this to say about witchcraft, “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Elohim,” Gal. 5:19-21.

If you persist in the works and teachings of “wicca” then you will not inherit the coming kingdom of Elohim when Yahshua returns to rule upon this earth. Therefore, we urge you to repent of such works and turn to the One Who upholds the whole creation, including yourself, by the power of His word (Heb. 1:3), Yahshua the Messiah.

Greetings to all of you in Yahshua. I received the three back issues of “Yahshua’s Witness Magazine,” the pamphlets and the calendar. I want to thank you for sending me these items. Also you mailed me lesson #1 of the Correspondence Course. I have never read a MAGAZINE with such authority and power than Yahshua’s Witness Magazine. I am memorizing each and every lesson within the magazines. I’ve read several magazines from different groups, but none like Yahshua’s Witness. The lessons “In the Beginning” by Brother Jerry Healan are totally inspired by Yahweh. He brings out the truth of Yahshua’s Pre-existence in a way I’ve never seen done by anyone. I really appreciate this magazine and I hope to receive a subscription from YEA.

In 1998 a guy in prison had witnessed to me about Yahshua. It took about a week, but I finally accepted the truth. I grew up a Pentecostal and had never observed the truth. Actually, I wasn’t raised Pentecostal, I was only in the Pentecostal Church. It was just something my family did once a week. The remaining 6 days my parents fought like cats and dogs. I grew up in a violent family. My life took a bad turn at 13 years of age. I began a life of crime, drugs, alcohol, and total rebellion t everything of authority. I was raised in a KKK town in Mobile, Alabama and eventually became a racist skinhead. I ended up going to Juvenile detention five times, youth prison once, and adult prison four times. I am serving a life prison sentence under the California strike law. I’ve been incarcerated since 1996. I am really upset about my past life and have nothing to be proud of. I have repented of my sins and I seek baptism into Yahshua’s name. I have the approval from the chaplain to have someone come into this prison to perform baptisms but have yet to find any one. Do you have an out-reach prison ministry that travels to prisons to perform baptisms? I really desire to be baptized and have hands laid on me by an elder who is filled with Yahweh’s Holy Spirit. I’m sure you want to know me first and that is fine. I will complete your correspondence courses no matter how long it takes. There are two other brothers who desire baptism. I am witnessing to both of them. They are brand new in the faith. If you do have a traveling ministry in compliance with Matthew 28:19-20, I will leave the Chaplain’s name and Phone # to make possible arrangements.
